You can't beat this location! Right across from Baragaroo Metro and the walking/jogging trail along the water. Walking distance to SO much and expanded radius this metro. Close to historic, tasty eats and brews (beer and coffee). Heritage property is funky and charming, though not designed so much for hanging out (not a lot of living room or dining space, but who cares? You are in Sydney!). The primary suite has awesome sun/reading porch and ensuite toilet and shower, but the view from the bedroom at the other end of the hall includes the water & Anzac Bridge, watch for gorgeous sunrise and sunsets - or walk down and see it in person. No issue for our party, but be aware that you go up stairs an alley and more steps to get in the property, then all bedrooms are on second level. So, those with mobility issues and/or heavy luggage need to be sure it's doable. Also, taxis and Ubers map 'flat' and confuse pick-up and drop-offs accordingly. Follow the host's clear instructions to avoid walking a long uphill climb from the tunnel below.Host was prepared for us and answered all our questions and provided reminders. Never got to meet Max (the pooch)... maybe next time I come for a summer visit.

Excellent location, house is very cute, host was great very responsive. Rooms were nice and clean. The only thing to be aware of is there is no wifi.

Great overnight stay! The property had plenty of space for all of us and was very clean. Excellent location. Sam was a great host, quick to respond and very accommodating.

The place was comfy and only a 15 minute walk up hill from the cruise port. There is no view of the harbour from the cottage so a little misleading. The lights in the living room and kitchen went out as well as the hot water heater. Host came several times to flip the switch but that did not fix the issue. No hot showers for 2 days of our 3 day stay. You need to bring your own laundry detergent to run washer. You are asked to run dishwasher prior to checking out but there was no dishwasher soap. If we didn’t have those glitches it would have been perfect.
