About this apartment rental
Facing the river, in the heart of the World Heritage site and the antic shops area, in a building dating back to 1793 completely refurbished in 2013, on the 4th floor with private elevator,and A/C, a luxury apartment (100m²), very calm and bright, comfortable, elegantly decorated, with a terrace offering an amazing view overlooking the city, the river and its bridges, hosting up to five people.
The flat has a prestigious and very central location, tram on the doorstep (direct to train station, Congress hall and Exhibition Center of Bordeaux-lac). Tourist office, all shops, many restaurants and main sightseeing attractions at walking distance.
Flat including a large entrance, a 40 m2 living room giving onto the terrace, with one sofabed, a fully equipped open kitchen, (with oven, microwave, dish washer, coffe machine...) one bedroom (16m2) with one queen size bed et one bedroom (18m2) with three single beds, a large bathroom with double basin, shower and jet bath. Parking space in building garage: 10 € per day.

Possibly the best experience I’ve have in a vacation rental property. Berenice was the most gracious host, communicated quickly and effectively, her apartment was amazing and so beautifully decorated and equipped. The view was unmatched, the location in the Chartrans was perfect. I can’t wait to return.

Very large well appointed apartment located in a great neighbourhood. For the size of the apartment we did find the kitchen small and not easy for two people to work in. There is excellent transit very close by and good parking down the street if your car is too large to fit in their small garage. Width and length are an issue. We found it to be an easy walk down to the old city centre with lots to see along the way.

Wonderful Host,Wonderful Apartment,Wonderful CityThis was my third stay in 37 quais des Chartrons. I always stay for two to three weeks at a time.The apartment is extraordinary...spacious, spotlessly clean, air conditioned, tastefully and comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Three added bonuses are a washer and a separate dryer and locks that actually work easily (unusual for holiday rentals in France). The view over the Garrone River is hypnotizing.l One could spend all day watching the action. When you tear yourself away from the view and venture outdoors, you can walk for miles along the river. Should you get bored with that, hop on the Tram that runs in front of the apartment and explore the city. A plethora of shops are moments away,,,grocerystores, boulangeries, patisseries,chocolate shops, cheesemongers, florists, fruit stands-you name it and it is a short walk away. If there is something that you can't find, odds are that it will be at the Sunday market on the quai directlyin front of the apartment.Bordeaux is a lovely city. It is small enough to be manageable and walkable. Its restaurants rival those of Paris (with lower prices0 and the wine is extraordinary..Having said all that, the heart and soul of 37 quai des Chartrons is its owner Bernice Dorizon. Bernice is a perfectionist who also happens to be a born hostess. I do think that she was an innkeeper in her past life.The apartment reflects her personality. .
