This property is very dirty and needs a good clean. Many spiders and the second bedroom smelt of mould and was very dusty. We tried to use the vacuum cleaner but the smell that came out of it forced us all to run outside before we were sick. I am sure there is rotting food or something dead in it! Prices in HomeAway App and Website did not match! The HomeAway App which I used to make the booking, did not mention additional charges made by the property manager. After paying and making the booking I received a message from the property manager stating additional fees were due (HomeAway has prevented me from including any rates in this review, due to content guidelines), which were only listed on the website. The property manager stated additional charges were for “hot and cold water, electricity and taxes”. I queried this additional charge with HomeAway and was told the tax the property manager was referring to was ‘tourist tax’. Personally, I think hot and cold water are should be included in the rental price, not something to be added in addition. Not necessarily the property manager’s fault, but be careful as HomeAway should fix this issue between their App and Website. Additionally, HomeAway have changed me a ‘Stay Tax’, in addition to the property manager already charging tourist taxes. Clearly a double tax on me, even though after contacting HomeAway, they blamed the property manager for not putting the charges on the App and Website correctly. I also needed bedding and sheets. I asked for a price for these and the property manager stated a price for “renting sheets”. I thought for this price I would be getting full bedding, but the property manager was true to their word and we only got clean sheets. All other bedding, only blankets, were from the smelly bedroom cupboards. I could have gone to SuperU and bought my own sheets for the same price! The outside area is untidy, with many weeds. Outside furniture is a joke, dirty and rusty! Cellar has a washing machine and drying area, but it also has oil powered boiler, so unless you like the smell of oil on your clothes then I would give it a miss! Apartment itself is large, except the bathroom which can only fit one person at a time. Bath/Shower could benefit from a shower curtain to stop water spraying into window alcove. If you don’t want to sit outside, don’t mind dust and the smell, and just want a cheap large apartment then this could be the place for you.

Pour les vacances de Noel, avec 2 jeunes enefants, cette location est très agréable car vous disposez de tout le confort et de la proximité des pistes de ski de fond (Bas-rupts) ou alpin et en soirée, vous avez tout le loisir de faire un tour dans Gerardmer. Vraiment un très bon séjour dans un chalet très agréable. Une adresse à retenir. La famille Le Goff

Vacances superbes en plein coeur des Vosges. Calme, espace et confort dans ce chalet romantique. Ce chalet ne manque de rien pour passer en famille des vacances réussies au ski. Cela nous réconcilie avec l'hébergement montagnard. Merci aux propriétaires pour leurs efforts !

Appartement spacieux et confortable, décoration très agréable et très propre. Les équipements sont complets et modernes (cuisine aménagée, espace abrité pour séchage du linge.Vue sur Gérardmer et pistes de ski.Facile d'accès en voiture (15 mn centre ville à pieds) Environment très calme propice au repos sur la terrasse , très bon ensoleillement.

UNE SEMAINE DE REPOS DANS LES VOSGES , un cadre superbe , une location confortable et trés agréable avec tout ce dont on avait besoin , un jardin pour les enfants une région riche à découvrir en famille ou entre amis en bref un sejour génial merci

La maison est idéalement située sur les hauteur de Gérardmer. Elle est spacieuse, très bien équipée et très agréable. Le centre ville de Gérardmer est facilement accessible. La maison est également un bon point de départ pour les randonnées qui sont magnifiques et ouvrent l'apétit pour les spécialités locales (tourte, pâté lorrain ....)
