About this cabin rental
Situated in Indian River, this attractive cabin for $164 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. INDIAN RIVER MICHIGAN located on the Famous Sturgeon River !!! You can escape to this prefect hideaway at our River Bend vacation cabin. It has a full kitchen that opens to the cozy living room with cathedral, vaulted ceiling, and knotty pine walls throughout, adding to the cabin atmosphere. For the young at heart, climb the ladder to a loft with 2 built in twin beds, or enjoy one of the 2 bedrooms on the main floor. Master has a Queen bed and other bedroom has a full bed and a lofted twin bed. You are steps away from the Sturgeon River with 35' of frontage. Enjoy the water; Canoe, tube, kayak to Burt Lake that connects to Mullett; Pickerel; and Crooked Lake which leads out to the Great Lakes. After a long day on the water or hiking through the woods, relax and watch a movie on the flat screen TV with a DVD player. Wireless Internet is also available free of charge so you can check your email, surf the web, or take care of business while you are away from home. Enjoy plenty of games in the chest under the hanging twin bed, ideal for a family time, or quaint romantic getaway, or a group for rafting down the river. You can walk to Big Bear to rent your tube, kayak, or raft's. They have trips scheduled to take you up river, you can end at your cabin, ideal for those that are to tried to drive after the long river adventures. Please note that this is a non-smoking cabin and absolutely no pets allowed. Whether you enjoy water skiing, rafting, swimming, wake boarding, paddle boards, jet skiing, canoeing, tubing, ATV's, hiking, or awesome fishing (with 17 known fish species in the area) you have found your spot for a relaxing true “UP NORTH RETREAT” in this log cabin!

The Cabin was perfect for our stay! Anna was wonderful to work with and has done a great job with all the little homey touches. The kitchen has everything you need. Loved the screened in porch. We enjoyed fires by the river each night. Anna thought of everything.

We had a wonderful time . We sat outside and listened to the river and enjoyed watching the ducks. The closeness to the Cross in the woods was one of the reasons we stayed there. The short drive to the Bridge was another. We would highly recommend to anyone to stay there.

Stayed here for a college reunion with a few friends. Place was very clean, cozy, and had all the fundamentals we needed. Grill out front on a very nice deck and front yard with fire pit right along the river - hang out and watch all the rafters float by, or float along on your own. Owner was pleasure to work with - very communicative and she answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again in the future. A+

Lovely place to stay inside and out. Perfect for what we were looking for. Cabin has everything you need and then some. So many nice touches. Enjoyed having the Alexa to play music and the overall coziness of this cute cabin on the river.

Nice and comfy, generally pleased but no DVD player as advertised and unable to get a lot of channels because of no passwords to get in. There was also no place to put our trash as the container was completely stuffed and flies buzzing about outside.

We have stayed at Riverbend cabin three years in a row now and have never been disappointed. The location is ideal. You can walk into town, to Big Bear for kayak or raft rentals, to a really good smoked fish store, to a coffee shop, to a couple of diners,to a great microbrewery with food trucks, games and live entertainment and it’s right across the road from Ken’s supermarket for last minute grocery needs. It’s also close to the rail trail for bike rides. The cabin is nicely decorated, has a ton of character and a great view of the Sturgeon River. We love cooking and eating dinner out in the deck and enjoying an evening campfire by the river. I also like to take dips in the river. There is ladder access available. It is invigorating!

This cabin is adorable! It had everything we needed and was very clean. The location is great. It’s within walking distance to several places…grocery store, coffee shop, ice cream, tube rentals and we walked about 1 mile to see the Cross In the Woods. It is also within driving distance to many tourist towns. We floated the river in tubes which was very fun if you don’t mind very cold water!! It was a perfect little getaway!

Great cabin for a family with kids! The property was clean and the location is great right on the river. Would definitely recommend this property and will look to rent it again in the future!
