Classic 1910 farmhouse with a few modern touches in dire need of repair and cleaning and a gardener.

Deer, owl, lots of games, big kitchen, lots of space, lots of white fluffy towels, lots of extra bedding, comfy beds, old world charm, lots of supplies, plenty of dishes, quiet, trees

20 minutes away from Sequim, mice sounds in wall between living room and dining room and droppings inside kitchen drawers, broken toilet handle, loose bathroom faucet, lots of spider webs, moths and spiders inside, squeaky door hinges, bathroom cabinet knob off, no DW or garbage disposal, only one shower, must hold toilet handles down to flush, grounds are very unkempt with dead grass, unweeded garden areas, moldy pond, untrimmed all around, front porch and door needs paint, coffeemaker dirty, stairs were very dirty and found bobby pins on carpet, no soft scrub or cleaning spray for sink and counter, old fashioned teflon pans, modern art does not go with the farmhouse style, danger all around for elderly and children: flimsy slippery entrance rug, dangerous stairs inside, steep stairs to front porch and the kitchen floor is very uneven and there is an awkward transition from dining to bathroom that is easily tripped on. Everything outside including the roof and gutters needs to be power washed, no fan in downstairs bath so gets very steamy and mold is growing, have to open the window above shower with no screen, kitchen cabinets and drawers were sticky and they all need to be labled as there are so many of them. All in all, this is a fixer-upper farmhouse with a few new touches but direly needs attention to detail. I almost wanted to weed the entire garden by myself and buy my own scrub to get the stains out of the beautiful kitchen sink. I just sanded and painted my own home porch in two hours. It's not that hard. There is a cabin on the property that apparently the owners or caretakers sometimes live in with their dog - this would have been very annoying to us if they would have been there.

House was clean and well-maintained, property was beautiful and very peaceful.

The counters and bathroom sink downstairs were all unusually high. Quality of kitchenware seemed low for the price of the stay. Since we were there for 2 weeks, we were cooking in often. Bed was uncomfortably firm and felt like a fold-out sofa.
