The area/village was peaceful, scenic, different.
The pub, rooms and building was exceptional.
Room was small but adequate and cosy, with the addition of a mini bar.
Staff were helpful and happy.
Good value for money, including a continental breakfast with a view to take your breath away steeped in history.
Hangers for clothes would have been useful.

I loved the location. The staff were fantastic.
I wasn't told what breakfast times were and I was unable yo have breakfast because it was quiet a late start at 9am.

Fantastic position with wide ranging views and a lovely beer garden. Tower room was lovely with a good bathroom but hot in this heatwave.
For the price the steak was adequate but not great. Be aware that there is no cooked breakfast available before 1000 and we needed to leave at 0900. Disappointing but continental breakfast was nice
