Great property in Rio Mar. The pictures do not do it justice as the views in person are much better than the pictures. Every room and common area has a french style window so you get amazing views no matter where you are at in the property. Space is very confortable for a family of 4 or 5. Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen are excellent. Love the decor! Carlos was very accessible and very resourceful when needed. I recommend this property highly. Its much better than the pictures showed.

The villa is on a golf course and has a very nice view. You can use most of the hotel facilities and restaurants but covered parking is not free. Recommend a car to get around.
Carlos is great and very responsive. The few things that needs work are better pillows especially on the bunk bed. Better lighting and better water pressure/hot water for a group of six. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

This was our first visit to PR and stayed here for one week. The Villa is very spacious and accommodating with all the amenities and has a great view of the golf course. It is nice to have access to the resort which had a beautiful beach, casino, pools, golf and restaurants. Some things to consider:
This is located pretty far from the main resort area. You will need a car if you don’t have a golf cart (which we did not).
This is a very gated community and the easy access gates close at 7pm. This means you have to drive all the way through the resort to get in and out. Not a huge deal but a little annoying.
There is no central air. The AC units and fans in the house were powerful enough to cool the rooms once you turn them all on but that also comes with noise (which most of us did not mind).
We did have an issue with water pressure and one of the toilets that we communicated to the owner who responded right away and indicated it was probably due to the high volume at the resort.

The villa was amazing, very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were beautiful, which is always important to me! It is in an excellent location on the Wyndham resort, so we felt very safe. We ate at the resort restaurants which were good, but pricey. The grocery store was nearby, easy to get supplies. Carlos was really helpful also, answered my questions quickly. We had a great visit to Puerto Rico!

This was a great rental for 2 adults & 3 teenagers! Good location but you definitely need a rental car. Carlos answered all our questions very quickly. It was a little confusing on what we had access to and how to access it. It would be helpful to provide more information on the pools & Wyndham resort. You only have access to two pools & not four pools. That was okay for our family. We preferred Cluster 2 pool because it was quiet & had a deep area plus hot tub. Definitely visit the rainforest & book a kayak trip to see the bioluminescence. Ritchie’s, Roots, and patio area on the corner off the main road great places to eat!

This property has everything you need and then some. Perfect blend of having your own place and resort living. You can relax at the condo but then head to the resort to be part of the action. The private pool and beech access is also fantastic. My teen kids loved it as well. We will be back!

The view of the golf course from the villa balcony was beautiful and entertaining. Loved watching the golfers play and cheering them on. The house was very clean and accommodating. Although we had access to all of the Wyndham resort amenities, they weren't even missed. The villa pools, hot tub and private beach were absolutely beautiful and perfect! We had an amazing time. We visit Puerto Rico a few times a year. This was the ONLY time we were content with just hanging out at the resort. Wonderful stay. Eight days just wasn't enough time!!!

Good location in a nice facility
Have stayed at other properties within the Wyndham and this was one of the better. Only changes I would make would be to update the A/C units to quieter units (although this was not a problem for us) and maybe a bit better water pressure for the master shower. Very clean though and you have all the amenities you need. I would recommend staying there.

Great view of golf course. Clean and nice size rooms. Very safe! Walking distance to the Cluster II pool but will need to drive back and forth to the beach. The concierge told us the inside of the rainforest is closed until December. That was a bummer to find out!

Excellent location. Very nice views. Amazing breeze throughout the villa. Well equipped. Super nice beach club and amenities. Carlos responds quickly to any need. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great location, plenty of space and very clean
This property was located minutes from beautiful beaches and a short drive to the rain forest. This Villa in particular was spacious, clean and well maintained. Carlos was very responsive to any requests that we had and was a pleasure to work with. We are looking to a return trip soon!

Perfect place in Puerto Rico
Having never been to Puerto Rico, and traveling with 2 children, and both our mothers, my husband and I thought the villa inside the Wyndham would be worth a shot. And boy were we right. Carlos’s villa is perfect. Clean, well laid-out, and the perfect fit for our group. The golf cart made trips to the beach quick and easy (and the waves were perfect for boogie boarding). The villa pool was our favorite - a deep end for cannon balls and a hot tub to relax after a long day. The villa is close to El Yunque rainforest, a must to explore and hike, or at least drive thru. We didn’t have a bad meal on the island, but especially loved the view at Ritchies up the hill (get the pineapple rice!) and watching the surfers at Boardriders. We spent a day snorkeling and exploring Culebra (thanks for the recommendation Carlos) and highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
The villas accommodations are exactly as described. Wifi worked well, beds were comfortable, showers were large and walk-in (a must for the older 2 traveling with us), and the kitchen was well-stocked with all we needed for the occasional cooking.
The guards at the Wyndham were extremely friendly and also gave an extra sense of security.
Overall, I give this place my highest stamp of approval and am already looking forward to a return trip!

Fabulous home in 5 star location....
OMG!!! One of the best experiences renting a vacation home ever .....This home has it all!!! If you're visiting Puerto Rico, this home is a must... Very centrally located from all the great spots in the island... This home accommodated 2 families just fine... We were nine.. The amenities were fabulous and the views, just gorgeous... So many great restaurants near by... But our favorite, Richie's....Wow! We went for dinner on our last night and was just incredible.
Wished we could have for lunch. Sitting on top of a hill,,,,,THE VIEWS. Awesome, awesome, awesome.....And to top it off, Carlos was a magnificent host. From the get go, he always responded to all my concerns in a very timely manner.... We are for sure booking this home again...Truly recomend it...

Annual Family Vacation
The rental was a very nice place to stay. The 9 of us enjoyed the stay. We never heard from the property owner except to get the code via text. I would recommend this villa for a large family or a group of friends.

Lovely, relaxing and adventurous family vacation
We had an amazing week for our first time in PR with our 6 and 7 year olds. The condo is great, has everything you need. Air conditioning in bedrooms was soothing, although hardly needed, weather was gorgeous every day and lulling rain almost every night. Sunrises over the golf course and ocean view are beautiful every morning. We loved Cluster II pool. Met lots of nice people. And the golf cart rides every afternoon to the beach club were a favorite of our kids. The beach is clean, beautiful, ocean is clear, very easy to swim and walk for miles. Condo was well stocked. Easter weekend was bustling. Lots of nice families, yummy poolside food at the club. We ventured out every morning to explore the island. We visited old San Juan, El Morro fort, Cueva Ventana (window cave), El Yunque, ATV tour in Carabali adventure Park, Loquillo beach, Vega Baja beach, and a night time motor boat trip to the bioluminescent Bay in Fajardo with BioIsland Tours. All amazing, safe, easy to get to, friendly people. We ate yummy pineapple and shrimp rice right down the street at Antojitos which is next to outdoor $5 salsa lessons every Wed and Fri evenings, and Ritchie's cafe also right up the hill with an incredible view. We loved Lluvia cafe Puertorican bakery, and pandaria bakery for quick eats and truly delicious food, 5-10 min drive. We ate one meal at Coastal Roots at the Wyndham hotel, got there on the golf cart, and it was yummy but overpriced. The spa and massage were well worth it though! La Parilla in Loquillo was a great restaurant but El Pescador in Fajardo by the biobay launch area was our absolute favorite. And there is a cute playground right there. We can't wait to go back!

Very comfortable for 6 adults, great location
Minutes from beautiful beaches, swimming pools and two golf courses. 45 min from San Juan, 15 minutes from the Rain Forest and 30 minutes from the beautiful bioluminescent bay! Carlos was very responsive, even set up dinner reservations for us! No problem using the hotel pools, gym beach etc but happy with villa beach 2 min golf cart away! Loved the villa - glad we choose it over the hotel!

This villa has a beautiful view to the golf course and the beach was only two minutes away. We had a wonderful time. The villa was spacious, the beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. The owner was very service oriented. We will definitely return.

Carlos' villa was everything it was advertised to be. If we return to Puerto Rico, we'd love to stay there again. It was a spectacular vacation-from the hotel grounds, to the villa itself, the perfect weather, the warm ocean water, the activities that are a short drive from the Wyndham. Thank you Carlos!!

Great stay last Feb 2015
Here is info about the Wyndham complex, since Carlos' villa has already been reviewed and is beautiful : this is a huge complex in the eastern coast of PR. You will need a car to drive the easy 45' from the airport to get here. Within the complex there are separate "clusters" of villas, this one is in "cluster II" and to get there you need to get past the complex security an then the cluster security, we felt very safe at all times. The cluster has its own pool that you can see in the pictures and its own (a little run down) playground, both easily walkable from the villa. To get to the beach or the hotel you could walk, but there are no sidewalks so we drove Carlos' golf cart or the car to get to the beach or to the hotel facilities. There is another pool just next to the beach that belongs to the cluster. The pools are nice but not as nice as the one in the hotel. The beach is small, the water in turquoise and warm, the sand is brown in color, not your beautiful white sand beach. there are no umbrellas but you can get shade from the palm trees, and there's free beach chairs. The hotel facilities are within the complex, about 10' drive from the villa. We had no issue at all using the hotel pool or beach, there was nobody asking for credentials. The hotel pool is nicer, and has a kiddie pool, although the water was not very warm. There is another playground next to the hotel pool, and a Tiki bar that sales beer and cocktails made out of boxed juice instead of actual fruit (go figure), there is another poolside restaurant that serves decent but not very sophisticated food. The hotel beach is, in my opinion, a little nicer than the cluster's beach, and there are some more activities, like jet-ski rental. The hotel itself looks ok, a little run down, it could use a face lift. Of all the restaurants listed, the only 2 that were open for dinner were Marbella which is a very expensive buffet with mediocre food, and Shimas which serves puerto rican-asian fusion food and it was better. the hotel also has a small casino, and a couple bars. If you drive your car to the hotel you will have to leave it in the parking lot which cost a little more than $3 per/h. We typically used the golf cart which is free, and can be either parked at the garage, or next to the playground which is closer to the hotel beach and pool. If you like to play golf this place is paradise, the golf courts are dreamy and you have a great view from Carlos' home. We took golf lessons.
