King bed, bunk beds, two oversized very comfortable couches with bedding ready to roll out. Fully stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms ( and pamper room) Full like new Kitchen updated new “everything “ Dishes, Pots pans, silverware, cutlery, silverware, glasses, mugs, coffee pot…… Nestled into the trees in a quiet beautiful setting in Welches, Oregon. Our friendly community is nestled at the foothills of Mt. Hood and is centrally located. 20 minutes to ski resorts. Take in the peaceful view of the forest from every window. The quiet back yard is nestled into majestic cedar tree's, yet a hop skip and jump to all the Villages local stores, restaurants, music, coffee shops, events, Golfing, Fishing, Hiking trails, Lakes, and Skiing. (Ski Bowl -10 miles, Timberline Lodge - 20 miles, Mt Hood Meadows - 25 miles) The remodeled home has a cozy, welcoming, new, clean mountain lodgy feel. Upper level. large windows looking out over the forest. Spring, summer, winter, fall. Feels like you’re in a huge cozy birdhouse! Relax in the cozy birdhouse with 2 large big screens ( living room and bedroom.) Choose from Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and more. Or just sit in the massage chair and relax ! Many board games for all ages. You have many amenities to help you get settled right in, Propane stove with remote start, air conditioner w/ remote start. Of course fresh clean new linens, towels. BBQ w/side burner, microwave, dishwasher, fridge w water filter, Coffee pot & press. Coffee & decaff, tea, coco, spiced cider, sugar, cream coffee flavored syrup included. To take the guess work out, I supply seasonings. salt fresh ground pepper, garlic powder, herbs, many seasonings for all taste. Ketchup mustard, r foil, plastic wrap … make it your home! Knowing travelers can get hungry I've provided some snacks to get you bye. Top Romen, Or make some popcorn for movie night! 2 bathrooms. Master bath is stocked with extras just in case you forgot! Shampoo/cond., shave cream, hair spray, disposable razor, blow dryer. First aid kit. White Terry cloth bathrobes. Season permitting, the fire pit is a lovely way to enjoy a afternoon! Plenty of chairs provided. Or just enjoying the view of the peaceful forest! Never hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. Dawn has done a great job creating a beautiful spot to stay in a great community with good food and coffee nearby. You can tell they have put a lot of attention to details, and have a well stocked kitchen and everything worked great. We grilled, the AC kept things cool, and we weren't left searching for items or bedding or anything.

This place met all of our needs! Location is great near all the restaurants and only 20min from Trillium Lake and just around corner to Salmon River Trail which is an awesome swimming hole that the host, Dawn, told us about. Beds were comfy! The two large couches comfy to sleep on. They have air conditioning!! Dawn was great with communication and tolerated all of my questions. Lol she really is great! I highly recommend this place!!

The electric fireplace wasn't working during our stay so that was kind of a bummer but it was still plenty warm using the home heaters. There was no place to cook food except for the outdoor grill so long stays might be difficult for cooking. Not much around the location of the home, and it was farther than anticipated from the Mt. Hood railroad that we came for but thats my fault for assuming it would be closer. We stayed one night and it met our needs. It's a cute and cozy home, lots of places for people to sleep! We fit 4 adults, 2 kids, and 1 infant.

Power was out due to wild fire mitigation. Host did not warn us about this even though she knew this could happen. We drove all the way down (250 miles) and had to turn around and go home because there was no power in the town and townsfolk said it would stay out all weekend.

Unusual Vrbo, very clean and well appointed. Owner is very responsive, and nice! We barbequed, slept in comfortable beds, and my dog loved the yard. Walked around the neighborhood, and it's close to everything.

But the biggest thing was all the noise from heavy footsteps upstairs, chairs moving and sound like someone falling off of said chair and hitting ground very loudly all late at night. Mind you this was 4th if July. So we tried to sleep as best we could. Brushed it off to holiday. But loud footsteps started at 6 am the next morning and again on second night.

I would have said that it was perfect, the attention to details and quality of service were excellent unfortunately the blind in one of the bedrooms was broken and so was the wood stove
I would also suggest reading lights in the sejour

Super start to our northwest pilgrimage.
We found it to be very spacious for 2 people, beautifully decorated with native American motifs. Dawn provided countless little extras, like ample amounts of toiletries; coffee, sugar, and real creamer! Comfy bath robes. Laundry. The super size tv was also great. And the location was ideal for our purpose, a day on the Columbia River gorge and a day exploring Mount Hood.

Really nice stay
Stayed at Dawn’s place for 5 nights. Very clean. Super quiet and the property was nestled in the pines. Great location for anyone needing a place close to Mt Hood without having to stay in Govt Camp. Closer to supermarkets, restaurants, golf, and hiking.

Great quick getaway
I am so pleased I found this property - an easy drive from Portland and perfect for getting out of the house and relaxing close to Mt. Hood. It would be the perfect launching point for activities - although for us it just rained. Dawn was great, very friendly and responsive. The kitchenette is quite small, which is not a problem as long as you plan appropriately - I failed to read the description accurately, and so we could not bake our chicken pot pie. Next time we'll know what to bring. I will definitely book again in the future.

Place was wonderful fit 4 adults in our group very comfortably. Had a large screen projector that was fun for the evenings. Located right near a bunch of trails but also restaurants in town. Great stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Bear Den. It was very comfy and cozy and offered somewhere new to enjoy a lazy weekend with my friends. We loved having the projector to watch movies on and give our board games some added ambiance. Overall a great place to stay, plus there is a delicious bakery and pizza place right down the street! I highly reccomend it.
