What an amazing girl's weekend. We had a wonderful time at Family Friendly Mini Farm: goats, chickens, horses, and gorgeous views. During our stay we hiked in the Elfin Forest and drove to the beach.

From the Dad: “Peaceful and relaxing.” From the Mom: “A quiet and restful place to land after busy days of exploring.” From the Teen: “I don’t wanna leave, it feels like home.” From the Tween: “It’s so peaceful here.”
Overall we had everything we needed, though we were on the run every day and didn’t take full advantage of having our own kitchen or the sanctuary of the property. Our hosts Jessica and Damon were super warm, welcoming and accommodating—offering to have us feed their animals with them, fresh eggs in the fridge and making sure we were well stocked with coffee and supplies. We loved the bright and open feel of the space and were very comfortable. It was a soothing retreat from the bustle, yet close enough to explore, and a unique place to stay. Thank you Jessica and Damon, much love!

We really enjoyed staying here! Very clean and quiet and close to Rancho Santa Fe, where we were visiting family. The owners were very kind and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay, it's basically a guest house attached to someone's home, but still private and quiet. Family living there was quiet and respectful of our space. A little too far from center of San Diego, but that's our fault for not realizing just how far it was (about 35 minutes away). Close to Legoland though, which was our original trip intent. Very pretty surroundings and views of mountains and forest. 1 regular bed and 1 sofa pullout.
