Situated in Clive, this attractive house for $201 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. 4 Beds. 2.5 Baths. Clean well-furnished 2-story home with easy access to Hwy 235 and I-80/35. Minutes from both Jordan Creek and Valley West malls. Direct 15-minute access to downtown Des Moines. Safe and cozy modern neighborhood. We live 10 minutes away should you need anything extra. Gas stations, supermarkets, movie theaters, many restaurants, parks and much more all within minutes. Easy airport access. 3 car parking on drive way. Garage and basement is used for owner’s storage purpose.

This was a great place. There is a good amount of space downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs were nice and roomy. The price seems a bit high for just one night but you get a lot of house for the cost. The neighborhood is a safe suburb and getting ahold of the host was fast and convenient

We found a well-stocked kitchen, which doesn’t always happen in VRBOs. Our dog very much appreciated the fenced in back yard!

The house is as described in a suburban development. If you're looking for a place in a quiet residential neighborhood, this is it. We were meeting friends in town for a wedding and just wanted a place to stay together, this was 10 minutes from the venue, so it was great for us.

This property is in a nice neighborhood with trails and a park nearby. The house is comfortable with plenty of space for 8 people. I wished the deck had been a place we could have sat outside on but it was too dangerous, 2 boards are completely broken with nails sticking out. The beds were comfy but the blue kids bedroom has a water leak/mold on the ceiling. Other then some tweaks we would stay here again.

Nice place in a nice neighborhood. The only thing I’d like to mention- the listing states 1 king bed and 3 queen beds, one bedroom had a full size that was very tight for the couple in that room.

We hate to say anything less than positive about a home, but we would not stay here again, nor would we recommend the property to families with children or the elderly. Though 2 sets of handrails have been installed the stairway that leads to the four upstairs bedrooms is very steep and feels pitched, our elderly member had to sleep on the downstairs couch. The second story deck is in need of a rebuild as it has extensive wood rot, exposed screws, splinters, and one of the railings is rickety. Some of the sidewalk and drive cement is cracked, lifted, and tilted causing a tripping hazard.The bathrooms could use a thorough deep cleaning, the toilet lids were stained, the bath mats and floor dirty. The furnishings seemed to be second hand, the top of the electric stove was so marred with scratches we were surprised it worked, the oven window obscured was with grunge. A similar almost identical review was written about a year ago. Pluses to the home, spacious master, clean sheets and towels, quiet fans, good water pressure and ac, nice couches, good neighborhood, convenient location, fenced in yard. Has potential.

Our family came from four states to gather, so four bedrooms was very convenient. It was a beautiful weekend so we were able to enjoy time on the deck. Joy was a good host and easy to contact. Great location for our needs.

Nice place to stay in a residential neighborhood. If you have events or family coming to the area this house is a perfect place to stay. With 4 good size bedrooms we had plenty of room (4 adults and 2 young children).
We had all the instructions we needed for a 2 night stay while attending a high school graduation.

Needed somewhere to stay a couple nights during state wrestling. The house was a short drive from downtown, easy access from the interstate. Kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Lots of space so everyone had their own room.

Death in the family precluded us from staying there. We asked to slide our stay 3 days even though it wasn’t rented and we were in constant contact with the owners. They said we could pay for the next 3 days but they would not be able to accommodate us as business is business whether it was rented or not. Very sad.

So many things are broken in this house. Blinds won’t open, several lamps had no bulbs or just don’t work, water/ice on the fridge is broken, rusty shower curtain rods, and the jetted tub is out of order. I wouldn’t recommend this listing to anyone.

The property has seen some use it appears (a chip in the paint here, a towel rod coming out of the wall slightly there), but nothing that detracts from its usability and comfort. Linens and towels were clean and plentiful, the kitchen has the basics needed. Host was responsive and even allowed us to have an extra guest for a night. Would reccomend staying here!

The glass door going into the home was covered on both sides with dirty hand prints, etc. The deck needed major maintenance and repairs. One board at the top of the stairs was bent up on its end about four inches. Not safe to be on it. Lawsuit waiting to happen.
Inside of the house was outdated and needed repairs. Walls were dirty and missing paint in several places. Master bath floor in toilet area was dirty and bathroom rug was dirty. Beware if you have kids or pets because there is ant poison everywhere. Kitchen cabinets missing laminate coating in places. Downstairs bath missing towels. All furniture is worn and needs updating. Wood floor in the dining room is in really bad condition. We needed a place to sleep and it met that need.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay when our daughter and new son-in-law got married in Adel. It was a short distance from our daughters townhouse in Grimes. It was a relaxing house to stay in and there was a fenced in backyard for our two small dogs. The master suite is large and very nice. It has 3 bathrooms so that worked out really well for getting ready for the wedding.

The bonus of this property was that it had a fenced in backyard which was a treat for our dog. Great neighborhood and had 4 bedrooms and easily accommodated us all. Could have used a few outdoor seating areas and some minor updates and fixes but overall it was nice. We were not pleased that Terro (ant poison) was placed all over the house without our previous knowledge as we had a dog and toddlers staying there. Just an oversight im sure but it could have made for a bad situation.
