Livery Stable During the civil war period the Livery Stable was used as the "livery" for the Confederacy in Paducah, Kentucky. Built above ground this 2 bedroom log cabin has been completely restored and is the perfect place for a romantic stay for two or a fun filled getaway with friends or family. If Rustic charm with modern amenities is what you are looking for Livery stable is the perfect place for you! If you have a larger group of up to six you can rent Livery stable and Grist mill log cabin together. Located right next door to Mr. Gatti's.

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

If you have fond memories of visiting family homes in the country "back in the day", you'll love Livery Stable. Excellent craftsmanship with solid wood construction on flooring, doors, walls, and cabinets. Wrought iron cabinetry and door hardware that looks & works like brand new but isn't. Corregated metal ceiling that has authentic patina; metal sink basins in wooden countertops. Spacious living room, bedroom, and bathroom; not like some modern day options. Furnishing was on spot with furniture, linens, decor, antique books, and cowhide rug. The garden with functioning water wheel & goldfish pond looks like a painting. Yes, there was a TV, Keurig, and air conditioning (works great!) but it definitely is a country setting 5 minutes from Main Street. Thanks for the wonderful 3 night Memorial Day weekend!

The location is in the same parking lot as a pizza party establishment. We were not aware that we would be in the upstairs of an old stable but rather we thought we would have our own separate cottage. Additionally, there was a bad smell that came from the bathroom throughout the stay, the carpets were stained, the doorknob to our room fell off multiple times, the bathtub was old and we did not use it, and the shower did not drain well whenever it was being used. The accommodations were adequate and we would not have a poor opinion had the true state of the location been made clear before booking.
