The location was perfect
Some of the maintenance was lacking attention but oils be taken care of after we brought it up.

We enjoyed a lovely three night stay at the Inn on Mount Desert! It has an amazing location -- a quick walk to town (5 minutes!), which makes coming and going simple and removes any stress of driving around the busy downtown area and paying for parking. The room was perfect for our family of 4 (2 queen beds). Breakfast was wonderful -- a choice of 2 entrees + other breakfast items (freshly baked muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit) -- plus freshly baked treats were available in the afternoon. The staff was accommodating and kind. The Inn has simple touches that make it feel like home -- such a board games, a library of books, a billiard room, and a fantastic deck for dining and hanging. While it is not the most updated establishment (though not missing any needed amenities!), it appeared to be comparable to other inns that we saw around town. Would definitely book again if we were to return.

Loved this property! Very comfortable and clean rooms. Ours was on the ground floor with a beautiful garden where monarch butterflies would greet us in the morning. The breakfast was delicious as well. Would definitely stay again!

A charming hotel with a great location. The breakfast was very delicious and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was decorated very cute. Also, yummy snacks during the day.
The shower was tiny, but clean.
