The hotel was clean, well maintained, and in close walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. My one complaint is they do not advertise that they provide a grab and go breakfast every morning. Yogurt, muffins or donuts, granola bars, etc. Thinking I only had a tiny fridge and small microwave in my room and not wanting to spend big bucks buying breakfast each morning, I bought $75 worth of muffins, yogurt and cereal before arriving. Very irritated that I could have received all that for free (since the hotel was not cheap). They did provide brownies every night which was great.

This was my 2nd time at Bar Harbor Manor, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Hands down, the staff is the friendliest and most helpful out of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. My daughter has a food allergy, and they bent over backwards to make sure she was accommodated for and gave us recommendations for the entire town. The rooms are huge for the price, and the main lobby area is adorable. If I ever get the chance to come back to Bar Harbor, I will not be staying anywhere else! Thank you to Christopher and the rest of the staff!

Excellent hotel in a great location. Staff was exceptional , in every way. They helped plan our outings and gave directions. Loved the breakfast offered daily, and the delicious afternoon snack of blondes or brownies. Special thanks to Christopher.
