Ocean House Hotel at Bass Rocks

Beautiful property in a perfect location.

Location, location, location! Beautiful and accessible to the rocky beach. Second floor balcony was very nice. Friendly and helpful staff.

Bathroom was very small. Low water pressure in shower and no drain stopper for running a bath. Pretty expensive, but you definitely get value for your money

Fantastic location and every staff member we interacted with was super nice. The only thing that wasn’t the best was the bathroom. Really small room and the tub backed up badly when using the shower. Also, the fridge in the room was not very cold even though it was turned all the way up.

The advertised room was NOT what I received. It was supposed to be a Suite OVER looking the water. What I got was a TINY room that when you opened the door it hit the bathroom door on the right. Our room was positioned so that everyone who was walking outside sees right into our suite - so, we had to keep the curtain pulled at all times of the day. Bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan so difficult to vent. Phone didn't work. I had to walk to the front desk to ask a question. I did not find the staff very friendly and when I told them about the phone, they didn't offer to come fix it. They just offered a perfunctory "sorry".
