Nice location for an opportunity to get away to the beach. The vacation was relaxing and the resort pools and hot tubs were invigorating. Our stay was not without issues: the master bathroom light would not work and the door lock failed part way through the trip. Coastal Vibe responded very well and the maintenance man was prompt, friendly, and helpful with our needs and questions. In time of need prompt response was a welcome experience.

It's all about the view. What an amazing view from Gulfside 402. That was what we were wanting and it was our favorite part of our stay. The captains chairs on the balcony were perfect for our morning coffee overlooking the Gulf. We enjoyed plenty of meals on the balcony as well, and loved listening to the waves as we drifted off to sleep in the master bedroom. The wraparound balcony was great--we could see not only the Gulf, but also see if the hot tub was full or open!
The accomodations were great, and it was easy to check in and check out. This unit is close to the water, and also directly across from an elevator which was really convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances worked well. It was a quiet area, so it was nice to not deal with loud neighbors. We also appreciated the smart TVs in each of the rooms.
We would love to go back! This is a fantastic place to stay in this area. The water is gorgeous and the pier is so close as well. Many great restaurants close by.

We loved our time spent in this unit. The balcony alone made for an incredible morning coffee environment. Unit is in within walking distance of so much we rarely needed to drive. The beach is one of the cleanest we have been on. Wonderful vacation unit that I would highly recommend.

It was the first time at complex and in this unit. Communication was great from start to finish and we are already wanting to book another stay. The view can't be beat. Everything was clean and really enjoyed everything about this location. Loved watching the dolphins from the balcony and having the beach service worked out perfectly for us. My only complaint was that our vacation went by too fast.

We loved our stay. The condo was very clean and had a fabulous view. It was peaceful to sit out on the patio every morning and even saw dolphins swimming. The amenities were perfect and the condo had all that we need for a memorable vacation. We would definitely stay here again. There were lots of beach toys available to use and we had fun playing Uno most evenings on the patio while hearing the live music close by. Thanks for helping us have an awesome vacation.

It was a wonderful stay. We loved the lazy river. My husband, son and grandsons use the pier for fishing and caught many fish! The condo itself was great and when I called about the overhead fan and sliding doors, maintenance came quickly.

Great communication and condo
Our stay started off scary with elevator issue, but the individuals with Coastal Vibe were quick to contact and even brought yummy donuts! The condo itself was nice and clean. Everything in working order. Beautiful view from the balcony right to the gulf. Nice, open floor plan. Washer and dryer was a HUGE blessing with children. Would recommended and stay in condo again!!

Fall Break Girls Trip
This was a girls trip for recently retired educators! I love this complex because it is so close to the beach. There is great, easy walk out. I also extremely love the included beach chair rental. I will comment elevators were broken EVERY day we were there, so we had to carry beach supplies up and down stairs, not condo owner fault, but should have been addressed. The condo itself was nice and clean with all needed supplies. The air did break in the middle of trip but was fixed within 24 hours. Overall, a good stay and I will return.

Top notch condo offered by top notch company!
Destin West is the destination for a family fun destination. Our ocean front 3 bedroom condo was clean, well appointed, and is blessed with glorious ocean views. Destin West is Filled with pools, lazy river, and marina. It's proximity to the Boardwalk drew me to this location. Free nightly events offered here and just a short walk down the beach. Magic show, luau night, fireworks, ect! This gem of a condo is provided by a tried trusted and true company. Their communication, reminders, vacation suggestions, response time, and follow up are nothing but top notch professionalism. Oh how I miss miss my dolphin friends each morning while enjoying my coffee!

This condo was great. It had ocean front views and a great pool view as well. We spent most of our time in the condo on the balcony. The fireworks from the pier was a awesome show from the balcony. The owners were very responsive to emails. Overall very easy and relaxing vacation.

Beautiful condo with perfect views & beach access! The condo is nicely decorated & well equipped. The balcony views are the best around! I have vacationed at Destin West for many years & have never been disappointed. You can walk on the beach for miles with sand dunes & crystal clear emerald water and walk to beach shops, restaurants, okaloosa pier & gulfarium- great location!!! Looking forward to our next visit!

Exactly what we needed!
Our stay at was absolutely perfect! Destin West 402 had everything we needed and then some. It's right on the beach with a perfect view of the gulf waters. You can see the whole pool from around the side of the porch so I was able to keep an eye on my older daughter while I was upstairs with the baby. The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed and had some extras that came in really handy! The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft and not scratchy at all. Towels were huge and soft. Having a good kitchen was key for our visit because we didn't plan on eating out due to all the crowds and this one had everything we needed. The pools are big enough (and there are enough of them) that it was easy to keep a good social distance even on a crowded weekend. This was our third time staying at Destin West and this condo was by far our favorite! I truly can't say enough good things and can't wait for our next visit!!

If you want to have the perfect view of the ocean from Okaloosa Island, this is the condo for you! With its wrap around porch and relaxing chairs, you can just sit and enjoy your own personal view all day and night! If its the beach you want, you get two free beach chairs with an umbrella during certain months. We loved having our chairs waiting for us each day! The Master Bedroom has a walk out with a view of the ocean as well. The sounds of the waves will put you to sleep each evening. This unit has several upgrades and big spacious bedrooms with the most comfortable beds. Very clean and well taken care of. David Jenn and his Company are the only rental company we will use. You know you will get the best quality service, incredible easy communication, and extremely caring about their renters. They have a quick easy way to reserve your condo, with an easy payment method. They want you to have the best experience possible. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation! We can't wait to return :)

Late Minute Delight
We found this property on a last minute trip to Destin area and we are so glad we did. The property is situated in a great location near to restaurants and other tourist hotspots. The views were exceptional bc the property is at the end of the building over looking the ocean. The property has just been recently painted so the place had a fresh feel. Another benefit that the elevator was literally right outside the door so it was easy access to the pool and the beach walk. The beds were all comfortable. While we didn’t cook the kitchen still had enough room to do so if we wanted. Overall this is a prime spot with great amenities. If possible we will be back soon.

AMAZING CONDO!!!
First let me say the only reason i booked through them was the low fees compared to all the other rental agencies. Most agencies charge you a ton of fees and you must pay half of the rental amount upfront. When i saw the deposit was only $300. and allowed you to make payments I booked immediately. This family owned company is the best and allowed me to book a vacation for my foster children by allowing payments, with that being said....Everything was absolutely perfect!! Better than i expected! The furniture, paint color and decor have all been updated giving it a more beachy feel. This condo superseded our expectations! This was by far the easiest company I have encountered to book through. It was a learning curve when trying to figure out how to get to our room from the parking garage and which elevator to use to get to our condo. We basically ended up walking from the garage to our room and only utilized elevator to go to ground level. The elevator is located right in front of this condo and takes you right to pool which was excellent for us. This was our first time staying at a resort of this size so we were completely naive in that area. I think the best part was the beach chairs that were set up daily. So accommodating to not have to lug alot of stuff to the beach. Also check the closet prior to buying beach toys and such because on our last day we noticed they had some. The next best thing that we honestly didn't expect to use much was the washer and dryer, we used it everyday! The resort nor the one next door no longer has a splash pad for kids, but with a little stroll down the beach to the boardwalk the kids enjoyed a few splash toys there and played in the sand while we enjoyed a few drinks. :-) We did utilize all the amenities at the resort as well as the spacious balcony. No regrets as this was the best and most relaxing week of my life, thus far! Thank you Coastal Vibes Vacation rentals, looking forward to our next trip through you!

Amazing Family Vacay
We have absolutely NO complaints of unit 402, it was just simply perfect. We had a full house, 7 people in total, 2 adults, 3 teenagers, 2 little ones. The beds were very comfortable, even my niece didn't mind the pull-out couch. They provided all of the things in the kitchen you need. The location was perfect for us and especially liked the elevator being outside our door and then steps to our pool. The walk to the Bayside wasnt that bad and we really enjoyed our day in the lazy river. Little tip, this condo is Gulf Front so your walk from the car is a little far, when checking in be sure to hunt down a cart to get your stuff to the room : )

Fantastic Location!
We've vacationed in Ft Walton Beach for decades and this is truly one of the best condos we've stayed in. We spent many hours on the balcony enjoying the view! We enjoyed the gulfside pool more than the bayside, but we're beach people and it was simply closer. It's a short walk to the pier and boardwalk with several choices for restaurants. Lunch at the Crab Trap is one of our family traditions. If you're looking for fantastic seafood at incredible prices, make the trip to Stewby's which is a few miles away and inland. No views to speak of, but the food is the best! They're due to open another location on Okaloosa Island this summer too. My daughter is a dolphin fanatic and we enjoyed watching them swim by in the morning and afternoon. We also traveled to Panama City for a dolphin swim at Gulf World, but previous years have visited the Gulfarium right next door. Both are very nice. We would definitely recommend Gulfside 402 to family and friends and hope to be back very soon!
