About this house rental
Located in Surf City, this lovely house for $283 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Wry short walk to beach. Spacious 2000 square foot 2nd row beach rental on Topsail Island in Surf City. Edge of the Sand sleeps 1-10 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. NOTE: SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT AND PHOTO ID REQUIRED WITHIN 2 DAYS OF RESERVATION TO COMPLETE BOOKING. Enjoy the ocean view from the upper deck or relax on the lower deck when you need a break from the sun. The house works great for families with children. There is a door to shut off the stairs making it easy to keep small children away from staircase. Two dens, one upstairs and one downstairs. The first level features a den furnished with a sofa and two chairs providing plenty of sitting room. A flat screen TV and a game table and several board games. Four people can sleep in the den utilizing the queen Murphy bed and the full size Murphy bed. A large primary suite with a king size bed, flat screen TV and private bath with tile rain head shower and granite counter top is on the first level along with a laundry room with washer and dryer . The second level features an open concept great room with lots of seating, flat screen TV and views of the ocean from second level. Well stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, a breakfast bar with 4 bar stools plus a table with seating for six. Two bedrooms containing queen size beds and smart TVs are located on the second level. A full bath with tile shower and granite vanity is located across the hall from the two bedrooms. Beach access is conveniently located directly across the street. There is an enclosed outside shower with both hot and cold water for you to rinse off the sand. Please note that the outside shower is turned off during the winter months (November - April) due to the possibility of outside freezing temperatures. TV and high-speed wireless internet are provided for the time you spend indoors. There is key-less entry to avoid the hassle of “checking in” or getting “locked out”. Surf City, NC is a nice, quiet family beach town located on Topsail Island. You will find sandy beaches, various water activities, a pier, fishing, boat access, fish markets, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, surf shops, gift shops, etc. You can rent boats, wave runners, paddle boards, surfboards, bicycles, kayaks and any other beach equipment you may need at several locations on the island. At Edge of the Sand you can enjoy the peace and quiet of being away from it all yet are still just minutes from shopping, dining and other activities. You can escape the overcrowded beaches with all of the high-rise hotels, but still be close enough to the city to enjoy all the amenities that it offers. Wilmington is just 35 minutes away and offers many fine restaurants and shops, along with an international airport (ILM). This North Carolina Coastal paradise has something for everyone. You will be renting directly from the owner, not a rental agency. We LOVED our stay!!! The location is FANTASTIC, the kitchen was well stocked, we loved the outdoor grill, and we’re so grateful for the outdoor shower. All in all, this property is a fantastic deal and a perfect location!

I have to say, I have been coming to Topsail Island for 28 years and this house by far exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully decorated yet livable in a very comfortable way. The space is much larger than it looks and there is something for everyone. The decks and deck furniture were awesome, the outside yard very clean and the outside shower as well. As far as needing anything, no, the house had everything you could imagine and then some. The host provided directions for everything and this made it very easy to manipulate. Beach access directly across the street was great. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, a great find. Well done!

The house was exceptional. The master bedroom downstairs was great for the parents and the baby. The toddler slept on the murphy bed next to the master. Upstairs were 2 adults in one bedroom and the 6 year old in the other. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was exceptionally clean .

Loved this adorable house! The main bedroom downstairs is HUGE! It was relatively easy to toddler-proof the main upstairs living space with not a lot of knick-knacks hanging around and plenty of doors to keep a toddler in one location. Best part: there was a door between the main living space and the stairs so no need to bring a baby gate for the steps! Hallelujah!!
The owner was easy to communicate with and the instructions given for how to operate the TV, various local establishments, and check out instructions were all thorough and very helpful. The beach access across the street was very convenient (especially for bathroom/snack breaks). Only downside is the beach is rather narrow so make sure to park your stuff close to the dunes to avoid getting your stuff soaked at high tide!
I certainly hope to come back and visit Surf City at the Edge of the Sand.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous property. The house had everything you could want and need. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. The property was perfect for two small families with young kids. The beach access is right across the street, so no long haul to the ocean. We stayed at this house with our neighbors and it was amazing! The beach access cannot be beat and the house had great rooms as well as amazing bathrooms! We have two kids (ages 7 & 9) and our neighbors also have two kids (ages 7 & 9) and it was a great space with the murphy bed and pull out couch. The house had everything we needed and we had such a great time! Highly recommend!!!!

We had the best vacation and this house was PERFECT. The walk to the beach was simple. The house was so well stocked with anything we needed. So well thought out. We cooked in most meals and everything was there for us. The owners were great to work with. Price was perfect. HIGHLY recommend.

This house was great! Fully furnished and updated! The proximity to the beach and beach access is ideal! Check in and out was simple. We loved the beach in October and it was our first time to this area, but not our last. So much fun with family!

We had a great time at this lovely little beach house.

Family get away!
Nice and clean property! Great location! Super nice and helpful property manager! Plenty of room for our two families (six of us). A few of the door hinges and handles just need lubrication to stop their squeaky noises. Everything else worked fine!
