Views from the bedrooms lookout on the tops of beautiful, old live oak trees and the main bedroom includes a second private deck ideal for sunbathing and looking out at the Southport Marina oak trees, docks, and yacht works. This 2nd floor Harborside condo is in the heart of Southport, NC. Access by the elevator and smart lock allows quick, easy, no contact use of the property. Southport is very dog friendly with sidewalks all around town. We welcome you to bring your dog(s). We just ask that you let us know you are bringing your pet and how many furry family members are a part of your party. Sorry we cannot accept cats. Southport is tucked away on the southeastern coast of North Carolina offering you the chance to vacation in a small, beautiful, historic fishing community that truly is idyllic. The condo (located across from the Morningstar Marina) provides you a relaxing space that is just a short stroll away from the Southport Historic Yacht Basin and downtown business district. Dining and shopping options are abundant at the Yacht Basin, on Howe and Moore Streets which are all within walking distance. The building provides lots of amenities including your personal carport parking and an elevator. As owners and managers of Pelican Harbor, we are committed to providing every guest a clean, comfortable, relaxing environment. We welcome children of all ages, dogs, and adults. If you need special accommodations, we will work to meet your family's personal needs. If you need additional bedding, blankets, pillows or towels - just let us know! It is important that you feel safe in order to rest & relax during your time in this Harborside condo. We personally clean the unit ourselves and maintain a thorough cleaning process. Our cleaning process is part of our commitment to you through the rental contract agreement. We adhere to Vrbo's most lenient cancellation policy, providing full refunds for guests/travelers who cancel before 14 days of arrival. We will adjust/edit your reservations if needed. Yet, If you need to cancel your reservation, we request that you initiate this action through the Vrbo online platform. The condo features smart TVs throughout (3 total), a comfortable king size bed in the primary (en suite) bedroom with a private bathroom that includes a large accessible step-in shower. There are 2 twin beds in the second bedroom with private access to a bath that has a large whirlpool soaking tub with shower. There are 9" grab bars in both bathing areas and a shower bench and elevated toilet seat are available for those who may need additional accommodations. All linens/towels are provided. Each bedroom has a large walk-in closet to store all your belongings. The living room area has a couch, recliner and 3 comfortable chairs providing plenty of seating options. There is a 4-chair dining area with a glass top table and a bar area with 4 barstools. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, glasses and coffee mugs providing all the essential housewares required for your extended stay. A convection glass top stove/oven provides you the opportunity to cook and bake if you choose to stay in instead of going out to the local restaurants. There are 2 electrical coffee makers (12 cup drip and Keurig single cup), and a french press. A toaster, kettle, and microwave are also provided. Additional features include washer/dryer, WiFi, Cable TV, elevator access, and reserved covered 2 car bay and additional parking in the back parking lot. If your family requires additional sleeping arrangements, a queen size deluxe Aerobed with linens is available upon request. Come enjoy the quaint fishing village of Southport, NC. The property was perfect with a bunch of extra touches by the host.
The king bed was comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows. The living room was roomy with a large TV and open to the kitchen and dining room.
The two balconies were large, with great views.
And there was even a nice carport and elevator.
Within walking distance to everything.

This was our second time staying at this condo. It was spotless and was very well equipped. It is perfectly located, just steps from all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the view and watching the boats. We will be back again!

This was our first visit, but not the last! Pleasantly surprised at the beautiful view from the large porch and enjoying the boat launch activity in the harbor. The interior was nicely furnished and with all the necessary appliances, cooking and dishware. Highly recommend!

The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt like home. The location could not be better. We were within walking distance of restaurants and shops and there were plenty of places to walk our dog. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We are a retired couple and small, elderly dog who have stayed at Pelican Harbor three times since 2020. Each time the unit is clean and comfortable. Laura, our hostess and her husband Randy, leave personalized welcome gifts including the most wonderful soaps that she makes herself. My husband has developed health problems so we depend on the elevator, recliner and proximity to dialysis treatment to enjoy our stay. You also can't beat the entertainment at the marina!

Laura and Randy are outstanding hosts, who care about their guests comfort and show it by giving their guests a beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean place to enjoy during their time visiting Southport. Every detail is thought of for the comfort of their guests. We have stayed at many VRBO properties between MA and FL and when Pelican Harbor isn’t available, in Southport. We rarely return to the name VRBO rental, but Pelican Harbor will always be our first choice. Southport is truly charming, and Pelican Harbor is convenient to many shops, restaurants, the Harbor…all just a few minutes walk. Thanks again, Laura and Randy for another wonderful stay!

We had a very relaxing and beautiful stay with the view of the marina and even though the weather did not cooperate most of the time it was still a great opportunity.
This is to the owners to check out the television not working very well nor does the regular coffee pot and to look at the stains on the ceiling.Possible leak above.
We greatly appreciate the welcome bag and all the other little extras;it is a great place, and we would like to return next year.

We stayed at Pelican Harbor for four nights. This was our 2nd visit at the condo. We just love everything about the condo. It is much more beautiful in person. It is so huge that everybody had room to spread out and just enjoy being together. We spend most of our time on the huge balcony. Loved watching all the activity at the Marina! We just love Southport and we will definitely be back in the near future. The host, Laura, was wonderful to work with, She even left us a goody bag. Thanks Laura!!! See you again soon!!

We stayed at Pelican’s Harbour for our 25th anniversary. The condo is perfectly located across from a marina. The deck/veranda is the perfect place for coffee in the morning watching boats go out and a cocktail in the evening watching them come back again.
Within walking distance of all restaurants and shopping, we opted to rent a golf cart. There is even electrical outlet in the parking area for recharging the battery!
The unit has dedicated covered parking and there is an elevator for ease of bringing in your luggage and such!
Decorated throughout delightfully with a coastal theme. And the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need for eating in!
The owner was easy to contact throughout the entire process-answering all my questions before our trip and responding while we were there.
We have found a new happy place!

This condo has incredible views of the harbor with beautiful sunrises. It was furnished very well. The master bed was so comfortable. Every detail was well thought out. The large deck overlooking the harbor had great seating to enjoy the views. It was in a great location within walking distance to the charming downtown Southport. You could walk to restaurants and shops We enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely come back.

Not our 1st time at this property. We just love the location and the ability to walk to restaurants and into town. The property owners are excellent communicators and went above and beyond making our stay a comfortable one.

My husband and I and our 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at this water view condo. The host was great to work with, communication throughout the booking process and accommodated an earlier check-in for us. We even had a gift bag with lots of goodies for my b-day. The place was very clean, spacious living room and porch overlooking the water, TVs and fans in every room, reserved parking, comfy bed, large walk in closets, and the list goes one. Location was very close to shopping, restaurants and walking pups around the historic homes. We have been to Southport many times and this condo was one of the best we stayed in. We hope to stay again next time.

This was our 5th stay at Pelican's Harbor and our longest at a week. The condo is fantastic, spotless, cheerful, with Avery well appointed kitchen. All you need to bring is your food. Shops, restaurants, the charming town of Southport all within 10.minutes walk. The view from the 2nd story deck is mesmerizing and so relaxing. The best part is dogs are welcome! Loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommend!
