About this house rental
Situated in Salem, this charming house for $500 per night is a great choice for your next break. Gorgeous 4 bedroom (5 with the basement) home located in a historically significant area of Salem North River. Short walking to all the excitement Salem has to offer with trolley and tours, Museums, Galleries, Fine Dining, Beaches and the Salem Water Ferry into Boston. The home is fully furnished with a combination new luxurious and antique pieces. The kitchen is a gourmet chef's dream. Featuring a gas cook top with grill and griddle attachments, electric double ovens and 2 sinks for easy preparation of meals. Fabulous flow on the first floor between the dining room, living room and kitchen making it ideal to entertain. Many satisfied international families and others from across the country have made this home a destination for family celebrations and holidays. On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms, two bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with a king bed, and the forth has a twin bunkbed (crib available if needed). All are outfitted with comfortable clean and crisp linens and air conditioner units and in the cooler weather you can cuddle up to down filled duvet comforters and get a good nights rest. Cable television and ROKU and wireless access through out the home and streaming. After enjoying the vibrant town of Salem you can come back kick back on the front porch or walk to the nearby train station and in 30 minutes arrive in downtown Boston for more adventures. Basement includes a queen bed, pull out couch, laundry room, and full bathroom. Please note that this home is a non-smoking premise. NO LARGE LOUD CRAZY PARTIES, THIS IS A QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD. Meg has the greatest house ever. Located perfectly to everything you want to experience in Salem, an Uber ride is super cheap to get anywhere. The house is great and accommodated the 11 people that came for my bachelorette weekend. Meg was extremely helpful with recommendations & even left her Halloween decor up longer for me as I was having a spooky themed girls weekend. I will absolutely be back!

Nice house, 1/2 mile walk from downtown, easy to navigate. We only booked the upstairs so had to ensure laundry was available via request even though it was listed as available with rental. Suggestion book for food and activities was helpful.

We loved that this home was a bit out of the fray of the October madness. We got to walk into downtown and shop, experience all the cool stuff, but at the end of the day we had somewhere quiet to crash. It was so lovely one day we just ordered in. Beds were comfy, individual acs in the bedrooms worked great. If we're ever in Salem again, we'll be back!

This place is amazing!! I came for my bachelorette party and it was the perfect size and location. We were able to walk to downtown and the few times we ubered it was a reasonable price. The house was super clean, had very cute decorations, and a binder with everything you need to know. I HIGHLY recommend this property 😊

The photos don't do this property justice. It is huge inside. We had a bachelorette weekend with 8 women and there was plenty enough space for everyone and then some. The living room was so cozy with tons of seating, and all the chairs and couches were so comfy. It's a nice 20 min walk to Salem which was lovely. Highly recommend using the Salem skipper app for traveling around, so nice and affordable! I would come back to this property many times over. Thank you so much for the stay!

I grew up in the North Shore, and used to live a few blocks from this house. So coming here with all of my cousins in our adulthood to celebrate the last wedding in the family, was a real treat. We all fit in the house very comfortably, there was parking everywhere and we really enjoyed the convenience of the location to downtown Salem. All of the rooms were more than enough room for each of the couples and even the basement room was more than spacious for two couples. The common areas were great for gathering and having a few laughs and drinks. All of the bathrooms were perfect with plenty of towels and bathroom accessories. I can’t imagine being able to rent this during Halloween! I would 1,000% rent this again, and strongly recommend it to anyone looking to spend time on the North Shore of Massachusetts. 10 stars

This was a large, lovely house situated in a quiet neighborhood - only a block from the water and a very short drive from downtown Salem.
The place was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax in between activities.

The VRBO’s accommodations were clean and comfortable and made it easy to enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen was very functional.
