About this house rental
Nestled in Emerald Isle, this charming house for $2,010 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Please note on MAY 1, 2024: Surveillance cameras will be set up to view the front driveway and parking areas of the home. Beach Mountain, a spacious oceanfront, pet friendly home has room for all the family! Located at "The Point" and with lots of beach strand in front of the home, as well as a magnificent sand dune at the east corner of the home (hence the name Beach Mountain!), this 8 bedroom, 6.5/.5 bathroom home affords multi-generational families 4200 square feet in one single family dwelling! Both sides of the home are mirror images of the other side. The floor plans are open, cool, and casual with two living rooms, two dining areas, and two full kitchens. The bottom floor grants two separate entrances into the home from the spacious carport (can fit four vehicles) and the staircases open up into the living room areas on each side of the home. Right off the staircase, the first of four bedrooms (again, four bedrooms on each side of the home) features a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo. This bedroom has a small Juliet balcony that overlooks the roadside front of the home. Upon entering the living room, the dining room and kitchen complete this magnificent open floor plan. Each of the two dining room tables seat 8, the two bistro tables each seat 2 , and the two bars each accommodate 4 . A laundry room tucked in behind each kitchen and a half-bath in the living area finish the composition of the second floor. The adjoining entrance to the other side of the home is housed between the two kitchens~~yes, two complete, well appointed kitchens, two refrigerators, two sinks, two stoves, two dishwashers, two washers, and two dryers. Heading up, the wide staircases empty into gracious loft-like hallways with the remaining bedrooms, three on each side of Beach Mountain. The first upstairs bedroom on each side of the home has two twin beds and this bedroom shares a jack-n-jill bathroom with an oceanview queen bedroom with private balcony at the end of the hall. The jack-n-jill bathroom features a toilet and sink for each bedroom and only the shower/tub combo is shared in the middle of the bathroom. At the end of the hall on each side is another queen sized bedroom, again with ensuite with shower/tub combo. There are a total of eight bedrooms in Beach Mountain, one of the main level on each side of the home, and three upstairs bedrooms on each side. Wi-fi is available throughout the home. The decor of each side is beachy, eclectically comfortable, and very family friendly. Yes, Beach Mountain is PET FRIENDLY! Well-behaved, non-agressive breed dogs, under 50 pounds, are welcome for a non-refundable pet fee. The pool (be sure to check out the pictures) is private and allows ample room for poolside lounging. A gas grill is located near the pool. Beach Mountain sits high on a large knoll and offers a grand view of the water from the back deck which spans the entire width of the home. Parking is not a problem as the driveway to the home is long and has an overflow parking area off to the bottom side of the driveway. An empty lot on the left side of Beach Mountain adds more privacy as well! Beach Mountain rents Saturday to Saturday. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING! ALL RENTALS ARE 7 DAY MINIMUM. THE HOME ACCOMMODATES A MAXIMUM OF 16 GUESTS TOTAL~NO EXCEPTIONS!

The house is spacious and great for a big group. Connecting door between sides is awesome. I love outdoor showers at the beach and is a must for any beach trip. Unfortunately the ones here were actually quite bad. Moldy, no drainage and nail heads exposed which were not safe.

Family fun and relaxation
First of all a big shout out to Shannon and Brian who are professional and attentive hosts. Responses to questions/issues were immediate and friendly. Beach Mtn is a great beach house for two families or a family reunion. We found that two kitchens were ideal for our nine family members - one group prepped and hosted dinner while everyone else relaxed on the other side of the comfy unit. A third refrigerator on the lower level was perfect for drink storage and easy access from the pool. The beach area provided plenty of real estate for chairs, tents and shades, sand castle construction and bocce ball (we brought our own set). Inside, the Beach Mtn home is light filled, spacious and decorated with lots of colorful artwork and beach decor. This was our first time at this end of the island (the point) and it quickly became our favorite!!

The property is in excellent condition. The decor was fun and beachy and the views outstanding. Shannon, the property manager, did a superb job of communicating and she offered up convenient tips about the area. Anytime we had a question or concern her response was immediate and helpful. Great property, great time, great manager, we will be back.

Beach Mountain was a wonderful home for 5 couples to get together, relax, laugh, and be safe during the craziness of COVID. It was a perfect setting for shelling and leisurely walks. The Point has some breath taking views.

This year, due to Covid we wanted to try somewhere else that is a little less crowded (and affordable lol) so we decided to stay in Emerald Isle and found Beach Mountain. Emerald Isle is fantastic, we loved the beach and more low-key atmosphere.
Beach Mountain was great! The house is a great bang-for-your-buck, you get ocean front location with a pool for the price of a 4th row house in Duck. So we couldn't have been happier. Shannon was great to work with, super nice! and very responsive.
Pros: Location! Two kitchens, great views, nice sized bedrooms, pool, 2 big pantries, nice walk to the beach, tons of beach real estate! Great landlords to work with etc.
Cons: Not many...really the only con I can think of is the mattresses are not super comfortable, but you are paying more for location than super comfort :)

2020 Family Together
Property was beautiful....with many special little touches. Laid out to be convenient with two kitchens next to each other. Living areas great for some playing games, some just talking and visiting. The extended deck let us see the beach around either side of the "mountain", which protected from some of wind and sun. Kitchens and bathrooms were laid out well and plenty of dishes and pots and pans as we do like to cook. We appreciated lots of space to park. The pool was also great with the younger ones but others enjoyed it too. Only negative was the steps and distance to the beach, especially for the 89 year old Grandma, but also we felt safe from the wind and rain on the Tropical storm night. We appreciated being in touch with Sharon while going through that.
All in all we agreed one of our best weeks. We have been coming to EI for about 50 years..

Fantastic family vacation home
This spacious oceanfront vacation home was everything I family desired. With 8 bedrooms, we were able to spread out. The two kitchens were wonderful--we didn't think we would use both but it was great to have two refrigerators since we had brought all our food. We loved the private beach access and the private pool. Definitely want to return again.

Wow! Perfect family vacation!!
This home allowed for a beautiful setting to host a much needed family vacation. Comfortable for the 14 who could join with lots of space to sit and catch up or get away for some private time. Bright and airy with all the amenities. The property manager, Shannon, was very friendly - checkin was smooth as glass. The house was lovely and very clean. We are beyond pleased and hope to be back soon.

Beach Mountain Magic
This house is spacious and beautiful! We lucked out to be able to book this place last minute after a different rental company cancelled on us. Shannon and Brian were so great and accommodating. Shannon texted to let us know when red flags were out because she was concerned for our safety, and vacation being fun. Shannon Went above and beyond to be helpful and available. The house, pool, beach, and location were all spectacular! Thanks for a wonderful beach vacation!!

We liked the house a lot. The host - Angelfish Properties are very responsive, polite and helpful. There is one thing for improvement - the quality of Wi-Fi, it is very unstable, and very slow.

We have stayed in many beach houses in the outer banks, and by far, Beach Mountain surpassed all of our expectations. First of all, Shannon and Brian are very easy to work with and full of Southern Hospitality! The house is very homey and works well with multiple families. Two side by side kitchens and living areas all attached to the porch. Emerald Isle is beautiful and very friendly. We will be returning!

It is the best beach house we have ever rented.
Beach Mountain is the best beach house we have ever rented. The house is well maintained and the kitchen seems to have everything you need. Shannon and Brian Peele are delightful to work with. We needed some light bulbs replaced and Brian was there in no time to replace them. We have already booked this house for next year.

Fourth annual summer family gathering at Beach Mountain.. Reserved 2019 already.
Loads of space, kitchen and rec room space. Outdoor dunes from the extra wide deck and the surf Atlantic beyond make the views memorable. And the swimming pool is a comfortable option.
We outgrew our 15 years at a smaller beach house. Now it's Beach Mountain in our future.

The best beach home for our entire family. Thank goodness for the pool, it saved having to go down to the beach everyday. My 86year old Dad enjoyed it!
The only negative thing was the east side the bedroom with balcony was sealed off!

We had a full house! Celebrating our 50 th wedding anniversary! Everyone loved the place. Ages 1-73years old. The beach was excellent. The pool was enjoyed daily by all. Each family took one dinner to cook, that made it easy on all! Well equipped kitchens.

Just got home from a fun week at BeachMtn. We really enjoyed the ocean views from the porches of this oceanfront house. The pool was a big hit with everyone too! We loved the way the house has 4 bedrooms on one side and 4 on the other...worked great for us. Shannon and Brian were great and easy to work with.

We wanted to explore a new area since moving to NC and decided on Emerald Isle. Beach Mountain was much larger than we needed, but we liked the beach front location and the pet-friendly option. The house was very clean, well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, and very nicely decorated. Expansive windows and plentiful seating on the back deck to enjoy the views. The views! So beautiful. Beach Mountain is located down by "the point" which is a little more secluded and an absolutely beautiful stretch of beach. The weather was a little cool for us to enjoy the pool but what a nice option for the warmer months. Shannon was so nice and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. We will definitely be calling on Angel Fish properties again!! Cannot wait to return!!
