About this house rental
The unique feature of this property is the spectacular panoramic high bluff view of Lake Superior. Our property has direct access to the Blue Jay Vista Trail for both snowmobiles and ATV's. The A-frame structure features vaulted 2-story window views facing east to Lake Superior. Relax or dine on a second-story deck that provides expansive views along the north shore, Lake Superior, and the sun setting through the woods. The A-frame is completely secluded on 6 wooded acres. The property features two outdoor fire pit areas with plenty of seating and fire wood is provided.
Another unique feature is the location. Easy access for groceries, wine and spirits, eateries, and gas. Beaver Bay is close by with more restaurants and shopping. With several state parks nearby, guests will find numerous hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, and scenic views. A snowmobile/ATV trail system is within walking distance of the property.
The A-frame was completed in 2009 and is a perfect blend of new amenities and an 'up north' interior décor complete with log railings, furniture, and tongue & groove throughout. The great room has a vaulted ceiling and panoramic unobstructed views of Lake Superior. Enjoy an even more expansive view from an outdoor seating area on the edge of the bluff.

This VRBO is truly a Sanctuary. It sits perched on a hill among the trees. Jack rabbits played and grazed in the yard. The view is amazing! The town folk are friendly and helpful. We found everything as listed. No matter which direction you drive there is a restaurant to be found. No matter the distance to drive to and from a distination for the day, the drive itself is beautiful.

Driving up to this property, literally, took my breath away. It's up on a hill, so all you see is water. There is a cool outlook spot and I loved watching the fog roll over the little islands down below. I truly felt secluded on a large piece of land. The location was perfect, so the drives north or south, for exploring, didn't feel super long. Black sand beach (across the street) was our favorite. The nearby food market was convenient. It wasn't perfect, but it was still a place that I would be happy to rent again and recommend. It was very clean, well organized, and stocked with entertainment. There was a bunch of extra supplies, which was nice, especially if your stay is long. A washer and dryer were on site, but it wasn't listed in the amenities. The photos of the listing were a bit confusing, considering photos of the extra apartment on the property were included. The book of information could benefit with some clarification/updating. The weather was mild, but I did find need for the AC in the evening. Only one of the three bedroom units was working correctly. Communication with the owner was quick and excellent and I was able to troubleshoot enough to get by for the rest of our stay. Overall, my family and I were very pleased.
