We absolutely love the Phoenix X building! The condo and the entire building was clean. The beds were comfortable. There were two holes in the walls, the refrigerator would not stay sealed closed, and the toilet was not secured to the floor. Contacted maintenance and the said they came by while we were at the beach and nothing was repaired. Overall the things wrong weren’t that bad. Just have never had theses issues in the last ten years we have been stayed at Vrbo’s in this building.

Great facility, and the unit itself was nearly perfect. The check-in process was very easy. The property management company checked in a few times and responded quickly. The AC was cold, the water pressure was great, the mattresses were comfy, and the kitchen was well-stocked for a VRBO…those are big ticket items for my family. The pool was great, and everything was very clean. The condo and furniture were exactly as pictured. It was also a nice touch that there were several board games provided that we enjoyed.
A word to the wise, this unit certainly can sleep 12 people, HOWEVER, I think squeezing 12 in there is a bit much. I wouldn’t suggest putting more than 8 in there, mainly because there are only 2 bathrooms. We only had 4, so I can’t say this from experience, just a suggestion based on the square footage. Also, the TVs in bedrooms 2 and 3 are not smart TVs or connected to any cable or satellite service that we could see. I think they were hooked up to a DVD player. Given, you don’t take beach trips to stay in and watch TV, but sometimes weather doesn’t cooperate.
This is something that the owners can’t do anything about, but parking deck needs those fisheye mirrors installed. We were almost hit/run over a few times as cars were coming down the deck.

Overall the stay was great. I was not happy with the kitchen and how it was supplied. We didn’t even have a cookie sheet. The condo sleeps 12 and the kitchen definitely was not suitable for 12 people. The dishwasher was not working. We called to have someone fix it and they did but unfortunately, , it still wasn’t working. They told us they ordered a new one and it would be there in a few days which we were checking out by then. We needed to wash and dry all the dishes (for 12 people) all week. Which was annoying. The kitchen sink drain plug didn’t work but they did bring a new one. We did complain about not having a cookie sheet and many kitchen items and they did bring one to us. The shower knobs in the 2nd bathroom would fall off the wall-again-we did let them know about that and again that was annoying. They did respond well to our requests and tried to make things right. The place fit us well and we loved our stay. The place was clean and the air conditioner worked well-it was a hot week. I hope the things I mentioned would be fixed so others will not have to deal with those issues. Overall we had a great week with our family there.

Our stay at Phoenix X was great! It was very spacious and clean. The third bedroom with 4 double beds was the perfect room for our group of kiddos. The outdoor pool was awesome as well!
The check in wasn't ideal, with not having a hard time that the room would be available. The listing shows 3pm, but I received many messages that said check-in starts after 3. A more set check in time would be helpful for guests in the future, as it's hard to really plan for a moving target.

We rented two condos next door to each other to host our family of 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Wonderful property with indoor pool and 3 hot tubs in addition to beautiful beach next door to Flor Bama. Well equipped kitchen for cooking

Very dissatisfied resolution to a communication issue! Pool/hot tub were closed during my stay. This info is alway listed on the website. I called my representative to let them know of the inconvenience! They were surprised about the closure. There was no communication with either party about the closure. They were very appreciative of my finding! This hopefully helped out future bookings. There was nothing done on my end to relieve the mixup! There were numerous people at the condo complex that were extremely upset! The people I spoke with got perks for the mixup. My representative said the owner was paid in full already. Their hands were tied at that point! But, did mention they would reach out and see if anything could be resolved! At that point I would receive a call! Nothing! Oh well! Do better!

DO NOT RECOMMEND - HORRIBLE FURNITURE
We do not recommend room 604 at Phoenix X. The outdoor furniture and COUCH were HORRIBLE. The couch inside looked good in the photos. But, in person , it was completely broken. The couch was broken down so much that you could barely sit on it. The stuffing was even coming out of it at one part, and the couch wouldn’t even connect. If you tried to sit in the middle the boards were poking up through it. The patio furniture was the most uncomfortable furniture. It was hard wooden chairs that sat completely straight up at a 90• angle. It was not lounging furniture. They were hard as a rock and uncomfortable. This was disappointing b/c we look at patio furniture before booking a condo as it factors into our decision b/c we enjoy the patio as part of our vacation. The patio furniture at 604 is not the same furniture in the photo when booking. So, if you love lounging on the patio, the furniture is horrible. Because the outdoor patio furniture was horrible and the indoor sectional was horrible, it left us with no comfortable place to sit for an entire week. This made the few rainy days frustrating. The condo fits 12 people, but doesn’t give near enough towels. We had to purchase our own drying dish towels and towels to dry off with. Even with a washer/dryer in the condo, only suppling 4 towels is not acceptable when the condo sleeps 12. There were board games in the condo, but all of them were missing the majority of their pieces. If games are no longer “playable” they should be just thrown out. It is not expensive to replace board games at the end of a tourist season. Every one we opened and tried to play, we could not. Another thing is that in the photos it showed a splash pad. There was no splash pad at the condo. Having the splash pad factored into our decision for choosing this condo when comparing it to other places to stay because we have young children. But, when we got there and there was no splash pad and the furniture was incorrect, it was frustrating. We will say the pool was excellent! Someone staying at the condo told us they had updated the pool a few years ago and took the splash pad out. That is fine, but the owners need to update photos online to match what consumers would actually be getting. The pool was large and had a nice shallow end for our small children to play. So we were satisfied with the pool. We were frustrated that the condo was not depicted accurately in the photos. On a positive note, the condo was clean.

Perfect for a family vacay
My family and I stayed here while my nephew’s baseball team played at a sports complex nearby. Perfect location for restaurants and access to the beach. Pools were amazing after a long day at the ballpark.

The unit needed a lot. For example lights in middle bedroom was out, light over head in kitchen was out, shower drain stopped up. The dryer didn’t dry clothes without turning on multiple times and dish washer, I would start it go to another room come back into the Kitchen, it had stopped. Do I would restart again for 4 / 5 times remember this was 1 wash. This went on all week. The Refrigerator was too small for that large unit. For Ice, we brought it. The ice maker did not work well. Maybe if the refrigerator was bigger that might help with having more ice. They really need to go through the units more often. I had most of the things fixed and checked out, however the middle bathroom sink faucet cold water did not work, only the hot worked!

Glass window wall was very dirty, needed a good cleaning, which we had to take care of.

A very comfortable vacation rental with a beautiful view on the Gulf. The condo's floor-plan is spacious, the balcony large and very pleasant even on chillier days, and the kitchen is well equipped. The only thing we missed was some good reading lamps as we are avid readers. We also suggest that the owners leave a folder with directions for the TV, and fans. Otherwise we have no complaints and definitely will return. Thank you.

Overall the trip was great, what started as my bachelor party turned into an Evacuation from hurricane Ida. The staff at the Phoenix X was great, and communication with Liquid Life was easy. Thankfully the condo was available for a few days after the initial stay I booked, and we were able to stay a few more nights riding out Ida. I'll be back again for sure.
