You have just discovered the perfect home to get away to for your family for stay-at-home isolation in these uncertain times. It has a beautiful front and back yard for the kids and pets to play along with a refreshing pool to enjoy these warming days. Inside has 3 large bedrooms and two full baths and plenty of areas for Mom and Dad to set up a work space or to set up the kids for learning or homework. Due to the Corona Virus, we’re following both Airbnb and CDC guidelines for our cleanings and taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations for your safety. Our 3 bedroom two bathroom home sleeps 8 comfortably, and with formal dining room and FULLY equipped kitchen making memories with family and friends is effortless. Take advantage of the beautiful California sunshine and enjoy the fully enclosed backyard and completely fenced front yard with SWIMMING POOL, (our pool can be heated for an extra $75.00 charge per day,) outdoor dining, and string lights for the perfect ambiance. Have a glass of wine or cold beer in our eclectic living room, with custom wall art installation meticulously laid out to make watching the game a winning experience… when you are not ACTUALLY at the Rose Bowl Stadium! Very comfortable for our college girls trip.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the 210 freeway. We took walks in the neighborhood. There is a nice front yard and backyard with a pool. We did not use the pool.
The kitchen is well-stocked; there are plenty of pots and pans. We found the kitchen spacious enough to make a Thanksgiving dinner.
Beds were comfortable. There was plenty of water pressure and the water heated quickly. The bathrooms may have been updated d-i-y as the faucets turned backwards and were quite awkward.
We enjoyed using the gas grill (connected to a gas line) and ate meals outside by the pool. Although the neighbors had a wild Thanksgiving party complete with a bounce house and microphone, the windows are insulated well enough to cut down the noise.
Streaming was very slow and cut out often perhaps due to the televisions so we streamed on computers.
It was a little inconvenient not having a closet to use in the master, but we did not use the third bedroom and were able to use the closet there.
The biggest problem we had was that we were asked to allow several workmen to access the backyard. A plumber came to replace the water heater. First, he came to measure and then came another time to install a new unit. However, someone had lost the key to the gate that led to the heater, so we had to allow a locksmith access as well. On top of that, the manager lost contact with the pool equipment and we were asked to reconnect that.
Overall, we had a nice, relaxing stay.

This house is spacious and charming, well laid out and appointed, comfortable climate control, and the pool and deck area is very nice. Beds were comfortable. House clean, neighborhood is safe and charming, near the Rosebowl, and grocery stores <10 min away. BYO pool toys- the ones there have seen better days. But it’s hard to find any fault with this lovely house, one of the best we have stayed at. We would love to come back.

We brought our 10 and 7 year old girls to CA for the first time, and this house was perfect! The pool was a fantastic addition, especially since we were visiting during a heat wave! The pool deck does get really hot in the sun, so we had to use towels and frequently move the umbrella to make it useable for the kids. Other than that, everything was perfect!

We came to LA to visit my daughter and her husband- unfortunately we were here during a week with record rainfall, but your home was the perfect place to curl up and get comfortable. We made great meals and spent lots of time in the great room talking, reading and watching college hoops. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back to our new favorite spot in Pasadena!

This house truly felt like our home for the 10 days we spent here. The house has lovely light and a great layout and everything you need. Plus it’s in a great location as an easy jumping off point to all the places we needed to go in the LA area. And the pool was warm and lovely. While we didn’t bring our dog, we appreciated that the outdoor areas were fenced in and very well taken care of. Also everything inside and out was stylish and well appointed. Can’t wait to return!

A perfect home away from home for myself and my family while visiting family in Pasadena. Bigger and even more beautiful than the pictures can show. The location was great and we loved the outdoor areas to hang out in. It was great for cooking, relaxing and entertaining with the whole family. We would love to stay here again.

We were looking for a home base near the Rose Bowl and this place was so nice we almost didn't get to the event on time. We started every day with some sun and a dip in the pool.
Everything was top notch, kitchen, beds, furniture, kitchen, appliances and a friendly helpful host. Zero complaints, would definitely stay again.

Rose Bungalow Retreat
The Rose Bungalow is exactly as shown in the pictures. The home was very clean and spacious for our family of four for the week. Gina was so very helpful and quick to respond. We highly recommend the Rose Bungalow if you’re traveling to Pasadena/LA.

Easily my favorite of all the properties I have ever rented.
I have been using vrbo (and HomeAway before it) for the past five years now, and this is the first time my breath was actually taken away when I entered a property. The house was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was clean and well kept, and never had we slept in beds more comfortable! The decorations were tasteful ad the rooms were all the perfect size. The property was in the perfect location, only a short drive from all that we wanted to do in the area, and the pool was refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. The owner was so nice, answered my questions quickly, and was very accommodating!
We are definitely saving this property for future visits to the LA area!!!
