A short drive away, are polo fields, museums, zoological gardens, Ventura and Santa Barbara missions, Santa Ynez wine country, the Ojai Valley, and so much more. Carpinteria is a jewel on the West Coast! Come, stay, enjoy, and return often! Much attention to detail with the guest's experience in mind. Recently updated with all new furniture, fixtures, flooring, and much more. The unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen, A/C, wireless internet, on site shared laundry, BBQ grill and relaxing patio area. For our guest's convenience, bedrooms each have their own flat panel Smart TV's as well as the living area.

We loved our stay. Walked everywhere and enjoyed the chill beach town vibe. Very large kitchen and all quite new.
Only recommendation is some blackout treatment in the bedroom.

It had a incredible time in Carpintería we loved it as usually but only our second time of staying in town. Watermark was absolutely a beautiful place to stay totally enjoyed our stay there. It was inviting and clean throughout with all amenities needed to make our trip away from home feel like home! We plan to stay there again.

A little off the beaten track but only 10 minute walk to a great beach and ocean.
The apartment is modern and has everything for short stay. Has all amenities.

Property was as advertised. Very clear and easy communication with the property owners, and check-in was a breeze.

So glad we found this gem. It was in the perfect location where we could walk to everything. Our unit was upstairs, which worked out fine but next time would like to get one of the downstairs units. The owners were responsive and very helpful. Definitely would stay here again for our next visit to Carpenteria.

Everything was as described. Great location, very comfortable and clean apartment. Bed was very comfy. The only issue we had was that there are very bright Spot lights outside the bedroom window. We had to cover them so they didn’t bother us at night too much. Other than that, we had a very nice stay.

It was the perfect spot for me while the younger adults and their children were camping at the near by state beach. It was an easy walk to the beach and the campground. The bed was very comfortable and the place was clean. I definitely would stay again.

This apartment was a spectacular. It was cozy, modern and so very clean. The location was the best. In the middle of town. Walking distance to downtown and the beach. Can’t wait to do it again and again.

This is a interesting place, tastefully decorated in a modern style. It is well situated with respect to the town of Carpenteria , which turned out to be more interesting than we thought. It has marvelous cooking facilities, new equipment, everything a cook could want. Perfect for someone who wants to prepare their own food

We really enjoyed our stay in the Carp! The unit was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. It was an easy to walk to the beach and restaurants in town. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple who wants a great getaway!

The location was perfect for us. We typically try to get as close to the beach as possible but found this location was more suitable being relatively close to the beach and so close to the main strip and our favorite restaurants.
The photos in the listing don't match the exact unit we stayed in but Leah was always quick to respond and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was super clean, excellent usage of space, great kitchen, comfy bed and nice shower. For two people, this is a perfect space, with a nice outside area. Many plus features but the location is superb: One block to the downtown area and an easy four block walk to the beach. Such a convenient and easy place to stay, walk, and enjoy the lovely Carpinteria community.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway with my husband. Very clean, super comfy, and quite roomy for two people. Felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely return, and hope to do so soon!

The property is well maintained and has privacy. Unit C had been renovated since our last visit. We love this place. The location is perfect off the main streets where several restaurants are located and just a short distance to the ocean/beach.

All good. Would recommend to family and friends. Did a bike tour of Santa Barbara with Cal Coast adventure. Definitely worth it.

This property was lovely, walkable to restaurants and shops, and well maintained! I was surprised to find it looked a little different from the pictures but it looks like it was pictures from a different unit in the same building. Either way, had no trouble finding parking and it was clean and comfy!

Three units in this property are modern and comfortable. The location is strategic between the beach and the restaurants. The kitchen is large and well stocked. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Nice newly remodeled apartment. Perfect for two. Easily the cleanest place we have ever rented. Location was close to downtown shops and restaurants and not too far to walk the beach. In a small quiet row of 4 or 5 apartments. Pictures in listing included photos of all of them. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

- 5 minute walk to many restaurants and breweries. Had terrific food everywhere.
Minuses
- The online listing could be clearer. There are 4 apartments at this property and the pictures appear to be a mixture from all of them, so you wont get exactly what you see. We were in Unit D on the 2nd floor while A,B&C are all ground floor. There is a view from the 2nd floor, but there is no balcony or direct access to the courtyard. You have to go out to the street and walk around the back of the building. The courtyard is very narrow and set up with lounge chairs directly in front of units A,B&C so even though its a shared courtyard you feel like you are intruding on the personal space of the people staying in these units. We felt restricted to sitting at the common dining table anytime we went to the courtyard.
- Would have expected beach towels and beach chairs to be provided. This is a beach town, right?
- Most of the windows in unit D can't be easily opened as they have California shutters that are blocked from opening.
- Carpinteria beach does have naturally occurring oil deposits washing ashore so you need to watch out where you are walking. The smallest drop of tar will stick to your foot and only come off with mineral or baby oil.
- There is highway noise if you open the windows at night.

We booked this to stay in for our daughter's wedding. We were thrilled with it. There were many bookings for all the out of town wedding guests--it was clear ours was the best! First of all, it was cool--we had really good air conditioning, and the bride ended up coming over to do hair and makeup etc because our place was by far the most comfortable in the heat. Second: beautifully appointed, everything we needed. Third: location. Easy walk to the beach and do good restaurants and a great natural foods grocery. We had no problem with parking. Sweet little patio in back. Easy in-and-out, good communication, strong wifi. I'd stay here again, and I wish I could replicate this in places we travel to!

The only thing we had trouble with was the queen size bed. We are used to a king size bed and found it difficult to size down. Maybe the nightstands could be smaller and then a king size bed would fit. Other than the bed issue, even though the place is small, it is very nice and comfortable!

2nd times a charm…
Wonderful time again in Carp at Watermark! We were here last summer and very pleased with the cleanliness and overall upkeep of this rental. Even though the apartment was almost perfect last year, it appeared they did more updates and it still looks brand new. Absolutely recommend Watermark rentals for your next vacation.

Great location!
The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Great location. Quick walk to the beach and numerous restaurants within 3 blocks. Kitchen seemed well stocked with utensils and dishes but nothing much more beyond a container of salt. Make sure you check what is available before going to a store if you are planning to cook. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again
