Historic Oceanlake Cottage filled with charm of yesteryear -- only 2 1/2 blocks to 15th Street Beach.. Master bedroom has iron and brass queen sized bed with a quilt. Back bedroom has a full sized iron bed covered in quilt. Two additional sleeping spots on 4" thick mats which are on two benches surrounding the dining table. Dining table sits six people. Ample windows -- cottage is filled to the brim with light. Views of ocean from deck, dining table, and master bedroom. All linens are included as well as a 'start-up' supply of both kitchen and bath paper products. The Oceanlake Neighborhood in Lincoln City has LOTS to offer! The cottage sits in the heart of the neighborhood within walking distance to Oceanlake's historic downtown with many restaurants, antique & gift shops, and the Bijou Movie Theater that has $2 movies on Saturday mornings. 15th Street Beach is an easy walk or you can drive down and park right on the sand! Beach has its own permanent bathrooms along with an outdoor shower stall to rinse the sand off. Cottage has many amenities including the following: * Flat Screened Television with DVD Player and VHS Player * WiFi * Netflix * Numerous Board Games * The Top 100 Disney Family Movies on VHS * Dishwasher * Washer & Dryer * Parking for 2 Vehicles (There is no other parking aside from these two spots.)

We loved our four night stay at this cozy cottage. The location is ideal. It is a block from the ocean and within a short drive to many beautiful beaches up and down the Oregon Coast. The cottage feels secluded and had everything we needed. The checkin and checkout process was simple and Christine was super quick to respond to our reservation request. We highly recommend this listing.

The home was fine. Could not use the internet options for the Sling TV so watched Disney Movies.

Peefectly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. The bathroom was large and renovated,as was the rest of the house. The decor was especially pleasing with many seashore items and wall hangings. The remote control for the TV was a but difficult to use, may need to be replaced. All of the appliances worked very well. The oven heated up quickly and the washer and dryer did a nice job too. I highly recommend this cottage to all visitors looking for a quiet location close to the ocean and within waking distance to stores and restaurants.

We enjoyed this simple home very close to the 15th Street beach. Everything was clean and in working order (we think) but I would certainly make a couple of friendly recommendations. My wife and I have stayed at countless properties through VRBO and 80-90% of them have some sort of "welcome information sheet" that tells the tenant how to operate certain equipment in the house and perhaps some local recommendations. While we weren't planning on watching much TV during our visit, there was a tiny TV/Monitor available, three remotes and a VCR, but no instructions as to what remote controlled what. We just wanted to watch regular TV but it appeared that wasn't available (that sort of info is good to know) and the voluminous VHS tape collection is pretty much designed for small children. My only other negative is that the mattresses need to be replaced. The one is way too soft and the other is way to hard.
If you can get by those two items, this is a fine place at a reasonable price in a terrific location.

The place was great. Very clean and the perfect amount of space. The bedrooms were perfect for our party that stayed. At night the area was quiet which made it easy to sleep.

Stayed here with my brother and sister in law. My mom stayed nearby so it was great to get together in the morning and have breakfast at the cottage. Very well stocked kitchen. We ran into one small snag but contacted the owner and they had it handled within minutes. Very sweet amazing owners and beautiful little cottage. We loved our stay. Thank you so much for everything!

A very nice "home away from home." Warm, inviting and charming. It's a short walk down to a nice beach and close to everything a person could wish for. Bed was comfy and it was really nice to have washer dryer access. The owner was very kind and responsive and the cottage met my needs for a long get away to study for an exam. Bring your own coffee pods if you use that sort of device. I would have loved having a tea kettle for the way I brew coffee but I made it work. Everything else was greatly supplied. Also, if you are a light sleeper (during the busy seasons), you may wish to bring earplugs, a fan or sound machine as the property is closely surrounded on all sides by vacation rentals and not everyone is a courteous as one would hope. ;) All in all, an absolute gem of a cottage and great place to explore Lincoln City.

We had an amazing stay the place is very very clean well-appointed everything we needed close enough to the coast we don't need to be right on the beach and it was preseason so it was nice and quiet we had the best time definitely absolutely would stay again

Great property. Night light in the bathroom and bunk bed room, which was very appreciated. No TVs in the rooms, which was also appreciated. Easy to walk to the beach, even though it was steep. Kitchen was well equipped for us (1 adult, 5 kids). Definitely would stay here again.

Cottage by the Sea was perfect for my husband and I. It was beautifully well decorated, very clean, great amount of space with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The location is also ideal, very close to beach access and all of the businesses on Hwy 101. It was easy and pleasant to contact the hostess, Christine, before our stay and we had no problems or issues. We loved our visit and stay at Christine's property and would love to come back to it again.

This sweet cottage is fabulously located in the he heart of Lincoln City. It's has old time charm in updated quality. Beautifully done, lots of room, clean as a whistle and in a quiet neighborhood. But right off the main drag. Perfect for two friends such as my friend and I. Or a family of 6 comfortably. A+

I have stayed here several times and it seems to be better with the passing of time. The cottage looked spruced up, it was immaculately clean, the neighborhood is quiet. It's a treat to myself to have time at the beach alone once a year, and this little gem is my favorite place. The weather even cooperated! Strong wifi, tons of kids' movies, a washer and dryer, walk to Thai food. I even had time to read an entire Grisham novel! See you next. year, I hope! :)
