Situated in Canandaigua Lake, this lovely house for $325 per night is a great choice for your next break. **Private, Isolated Property, away from the hustle and bustle of the Lake** **We have implemented a very rigid cleaning/disinfecting protocol when it comes to cleaning our rental. Your safety and piece of mind is our top priority*** An updated gem on Canandaigua lake with gorgeous panoramic views of the lake from every room with a wraparound porch. Hardwood floors, laundry facilities, garage, grill and dock space are included. The property consists of 2 homes, the main house and the guest house. The unit being rented is the guest house which sits above the main house overlooking the lake. There is a private entrance and garage for the guest house. The only shared area is the dock. The lake is accessed via gradual steps. There is a level fire pit area half way to the lake. The lake front is level and great for swimming or fishing. In the guest house the living room features a large open area with a queensize pullout sofa, chair and a large screen tv. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of counter space and a dinning table that can accommodate 6 people. The floor plan is open as the kitchen opens to the living room. There is a wraparound porch/balcony that can be accessed from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed with large closets for ample storage and has a tv. The second bedroom features 2 twin size beds with a large closet. Enjoy picturesque, family friendly swimming or kayaking with panoramic views in all directions. The 200 feet wide, level lake frontage is perfect to relax and enjoy the lake. It is easily accessible from the house. At lake level there is a dock provided for your use where you can tie up a boat, go swimming, or relax in a lounge chair with a glass of wine and enjoy the views.

Gorgeous property and great living space with everything you need. We loved every minute of our stay. We relaxed and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and beautiful sunsets while having a glass of wine. The access to the dock, kayak and SUP was so cool. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. We loved the quiet side of the lake and enjoyed exploring the wineries. We will be back!

The property is clean and well kept, a beautiful 2 bedroom 1bath home, one car garage, great kitchen with everything you need to cook and with a great view of the Canandaigua Lake. 20 minutes away from the city of Canandaigua, Napoles, golfing, wineries, breweries and restaurants. We had a great week did some fishing off the new large pier they just had built. Great location, Great views and sunsets. Although many steps to climb between the house and the deck on the water. If your in decent shape no problem.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. It was as clean, comfortable, and accommodating as the previous time we stayed. The homeowners are very communicative and attentive; they even left us a holiday gift upon arriving. Parking and unloading our car in the rental's garage (connected to the home) in the cold winter made things much easier. The house was clean and the homeowners have everything available to make our stay comfortable. Winter views of the lake were beautiful and the in-house laundry area worked out great! Don't hesitate to book this property!

first walk in the door and what a view of the lake! Property owners called to make sure we were comfortable, answer any questions and tell of area things to do. But with all at the house - the fire pit and kayaks at their beach area, did not really need to go anywhere. But we did go to several excellent wineries, antique shops and even rented a pontoon boat for a day. It was a wonderful week!

My wife, daughter, and I sought a convenient home base for visiting the major state parks Letchworth and Watkins Glen; the must-see Corning Glass Museum; and, my wife’s family homestead located due east of Rochester.
We also sought a place where, after a day of driving in the hot summer sun up and down the hills that are the primary topographical feature of the region, we could refresh ourselves in the clear, cooling waters of one of the signature Finger Lakes.
The rental served our needs well in this regard.
Further, the rental lies beyond the main commercial areas and marinas, making for a quiet, peaceful stay.
A family of three or four will find plenty of space to enjoy their stay. The house is well laid out and offers beautiful views of the water.
The place comes fully stocked for those who choose to prepare home-cooked meals. The house was thoroughly cleaned for our arrival. All the systems were in good condition and in working order. The hosts were gracious and attentive.
Our daughter, nine years old, enjoyed trying her hard at fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking with the equipment available on site.
One caveat: people with mobility challenges will struggle with the steps. The house lies on a steep hillside above the lake.

Beautiful Property - Wonderful Hosts
Stayed at this home for a month while waiting for our home to close. It was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the hosts were kind and friendly. The home overlooks the lake and it has a fantastic dock that was great for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sun set. I would definitely recommend this home to everyone!

We loved staying in this Canandaigua home! The interior was clean, modern, roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the large, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with a desk in the corner, big bathroom and bedrooms, and a huge deck overlooking the lake. Relaxing family getaway
We loved our stay at the guest house! The location feels private and remote, but is just a 15 minute drive to Canandaigua and Naples. There were a lot of good hiking trails nearby, and we were just a short drive away from many wineries. The house was clean and had everything we needed for cooking our meals. Dola and John are friendly and thoughtful hosts. We’d definitely come back!

We loved our stay. The views are breathtaking, you are within driving distance of lots of hiking and restaurants and the home was very clean. John and Dola were great hosts. They quickly answered questions but also gave us privacy.
I would note there are a lot of stairs to the lake. The views are beautiful at each level.

Great Getaway
We had a lovely stay in the guesthouse. It was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the beautiful lake views, kayaking, hiking, wineries and evenings around the fire pit. The location is quiet and feels remote, but is just a few minutes drive to grocery stores. We loved it and would stay again.

Beautiful property and helpful hosts
The property and guest house are amazing. We were able to make full use of the kayaks, dock, grill, 2 fire pits, etc. The house was exceptionally clean. Hosts Dola and John were very friendly and offered great recommendations. A perfect vacation rental.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The place was exceptionally clean which was reassuring to find during this time of covid. Great views of the lake on the wraparound porch. Very peaceful surroundings. Clear instructions provided by the owners. Easy access to the lake and we enjoyed making use of the recreational equipment provided incl kayaks and paddle board. Located near wineries and hiking trails. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Great place to get away to. House was immaculate and owners were friendly and helpful views from deck, fire pit, dock were all fantastic. Location is across lake from Bristol Harbour so away from busyness of north end of lake but still only 15 minute drive from town.

Lake Vacation
Dola was a great host and was flexible to our individual needs. She was very responsive to our texts and calls before and during our stay. The property is unbelievably beautiful, and frankly the pictures don't do it justice. The house was also very comfortable and well stocked, and we would book again here in a second. Thanks Dola for a great trip!

Beautiful Lakeside Home
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakeside home. The house was very comfortable and the views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed and the lake was so private and refreshing. We took full advantage of all the natural beauty in the area including Letchworth State Park, Stony Brook and Watkins Glen (a must see)!! I highly recommend this property and its owners were very accommodating and gracious.

Great lake house vacation
We had a great week at this lake house. The house was very clean and true to the listing. The beds were comfortable and all linens were provided. The wifi was sort of spotty but not unmanageable. The steps down to the lake were steep but there were spots along the way that to take a rest if needed. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

“Fantastic Stay” at Canandaigua Guest Home
The Canandaigua Lake Guest Home was a great place for me and college friends to stay for 4 nights. Having a busy itinerary did not make the one bathroom seem like a problem as one may think it would. The accommodations to every detail was included and located easily. The cleanliness was very impressive and updated amenities added to the warmth of our lovely visit. I would recommend this lake house to anyone who can be grateful of the opportunity, respectful of others property and just wants another place to have great memories with family or friends.
This lake house owner, Dola and John, were very accommodating and it was clear it was not their “first rodeo” of managing property for others to enjoy.

Beautiful
We enjoyed 5 nights here July 2018. This is a beautiful place to stay. A very high end house inside and out. Immaculate in every way. A very quiet and private lot with wooded areas that surround both the guest house (we stayed in) which is set back above the main house. The numerous steps to get down to the fire pit and water were the only drawback. The block retaining walls, steps and landscaping that take you there are incredible - just beautiful.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time. The property was perfect for our family weekend get away. The guest house is extremely comfortable, clean and well maintained. John, Dola and family are wonderful hosts and fantastic people. I can't express how impressed we were with their kindness and generosity.
