Alain is a wonderful host! He made everything easy by providing some lovely pantry essentials, information about the appliances and washer/dryer, as well as giving great recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again and refer everyone I know to stay as well!

Alain was a perfect host. He provided many recommendations for restaurants in walking distance. The apartment location was central to everything we wanted to do. We had everything we needed for a lovely five night stay. The balcony was an added bonus for sitting, sipping Champagne, and enjoying the views of streets and rooftops - early morning and after dark were special. We will most certainly plan to stay here again.

The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities listed.Amazing location. Fantastic host. Had everything I needed.I would stay there whenever I am in Paris, if it is available.

Just spent 3 weeks on incredible "Tour de Paris," and Alain's apt was the perfect home base. CONVENIENCE: located in heart of the city, and most points of interest w/in walking distance. Plus, Cite metro (No. 4) station and RER stops 1 block away. Excellent boulangerie within doors away; small "convenience store" down the block and larger markets (e.g., Monoprix) short walks away. SO MANY good cafe/restaurants/ food choices -- all w/in 5-10 minute walk. COMFORT: the apt was comfortable for the 2 of us: living area has couch for resting/reading; the bedroom mattress was high quality (important for a 70 year old with surgically-repaired back!)--- we slept like babies. Alain provided all necessary linens/towels/blankets (all high quality), along with dish soap, laundry detergent, paper products, etc. A nice welcome basket (wine, cookies, bottled water, soda) was much appreciated. Bathroom newly remodeled, and roomy (by Euro standards) with shower that provided ample water pressure and hot water. Kitchen also new-- everything needed for light cooking and meals. Combo clothes washer/dryer easy to operate and a must for those of us who pack in carry-ons. In short, the apt checks all the usual boxes, but the BEST aspect of the place is the "ambience/setting"---- the views out over the neighborhood rooftops; sighting the spires of Notre Dame from the balcony; the serenading bells of Norte Dame. SPECTACULAR!!And Alain was the perfect host-- he spent considerable time with me showing me the apt ins/outs when I arrived (much appreciated, and not common with other apt owners/managers I rented from in Paris). He lives in an adjacent apartment, is easy to contact by email, and committed to the comfort of his guests. We had an opportunity to spend some social time with Alain and thoroughly enjoyed his company. BOTTOM LINE: fantastic apartment, perfect host.Franklin from Pittsburgh, PA
