This house was perfect for what we were looking for. It was 1/2 mile from the Treasury on the Plaza, where our son was getting married. We rented the house plus the converted garage out back and couldn't be happier. There was enough bedrooms for all and more than enough fridge space. It was spacious.
Jess was a delight to communicate with throughout the process and even graciously permitted an early check-in to fit our needs. Needless to say, we had no worries throughout our stay.

Our family had a great time staying at this home. We were within walking distance of most places we wanted to visit. It is a large home and the different age groups had their own spaces to gather. It was a wonderful experience

Great home for a larger family group. Our second stay and will be back. Clean and excellent location to walk downtown. Attentive host

This property is perfect for our group. There are ample sleeping rooms and bathrooms. We have a few families in our group. The location is walking distance to everything. Ample parking for all the vehicles. We map out a Christmas pajama bar crawl one night and family spaghetti dinner and carriage night another with the white elephant gift exchange. It was an amazing weekend and this house set the stage.

This amazing home is a couple blocks away from one of the trolley pickup locations. It makes it very convenient to get around downtown and enjoy all that St. Augustine has to offer.
The house is well maintained and spacious…especially considering how many people this home accommodates. I’d highly recommend staying here while you’re visiting St. Augustine!

This was a cool eclectic house. Everything was in very good shape and very clean. We were walking or carting distance to many great places! We loved it and the food she catered for us was delicious!

The house was extremely large and well equipped to accommodate our family vacation

Our family is HUGE and there was plenty of room for all of us as well as the two dogs. There were enough beds and futons that everyone had a place to sleep. There was ample bedding, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. I enjoyed meeting Jess and learning about the history of the house. She has done a wonderful job of creating a very quaint and quirky place to stay. Our trip was very enjoyable. Thank you!

Bottomline is that if you have a big family or group, there are 6 bedrooms and lots of spaces to spread out, not to mention lots of parking. Location is easy walking distance to The Ice Plant and St Augustine Fish Camp, both great. We had a wedding reception at The LIghtner Museum, so it was a great location for a lot of family.
The property is definitely unique and quirky. It is one of the old houses that many people are buying and restoring in the area. There are a few that looked abandoned when we walked around and others brand new. We always felt safe. This place could use a good exterior paintjob, but inside was clean and had kitchens and closets that were packed with everything you need, from irons and ironing boards, to every utensil, coffee maker, coffee, filters, blow dryers, pillows, blankets, etc. The oddities, like the right angle sink in the upstairs kitchen, paint schemes, some strange small room areas, just make it a place you will remember. Nice patio out back and front and back upstairs porches. We had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for everyone, we had 17 people there, adults and kids. Loved that we could walk to town in about 10 minutes. Wish there was more countertop space in kitchen or maybe an island, but we made it work! Very comfortable place. Would book again!

We rented the house for 3 nights, eight women, for a fun girls getaway. Upon arrival at 6:00pm the owners representative meet us and informed us that an electrical contractor would be over at 9:00am the next morning to do repairs in the master bedroom. We told him that we were not comfortable with that and we did not want to be disturbed on our vacation nor did we want a strange person in the rental , we like to have coffee in the morning in our PJ’s and this was not an emergency. Then I received a hostile phone from the owner. She was screaming at me, “ how dare you not let me in my own house.” I explained our concerns and stated the obvious, this should have been scheduled before we arrived. After a few crude remarks from her she told me that if I don’t like it I can leave within the hour and she would refund 100% of my money. She then told me she failed her 4-point inspection and that if it wasn’t repaired and inspected by the following day she would lose her insurance on the property.
We felt very uncomfortable with the entire situation and decided it woukd be best to leave. We were lucky enough to find a much nicer home, for less money, and turned what could have been a horrible situation into a fun girls weekend. We joked that we turned lemons into lemonade.

This house was in the perfect location for the wedding we were attending for our niece at The White Room. 3 cousins and their families stayed in this house and it had more than enough room for all of us! We had the best time being in St. Augustine and this house completed our amazing experience!!

The best way to describe this house is “quirky”. Super fun, but definitely unique…..We had friends and family staying here for a wedding anniversary, and the house and some of its quirks has definitely become the topic of conversation and inside jokes within our little group. The house itself is very well kept and in good condition for being as old as it is! It has a lot of charm and is located in a perfect area of st Augustine. It took us less than 15 minutes to walk to everything downtown and the Ice Plant restaurant and distillery is literally a 2 minute walk away, and a local brewery is about a 5 minute walk! Gave the check in 4 stars because it seemed like overkill to have a property maganger meet us to let us in 🤷🏼♀️ The house itself looks a bit bigger in the pictures, when we got there we were a little bummed that the areas that looked huge in the photos weren’t as big…it’s also furnished and set up very oddly in my opinion. Nothing in the house really goes together, furniture, etc…but again it makes it kind of eclectic looking, there are weird things like a refrigerator in the foyer🤷🏼♀️ weird…and one of the bedrooms upstairs which was an obvious add on out of many…had an old window pane looking into the upstairs kitchen but had no glass, so that room lost all sound privacy… not great for couples lol 👎🏼None of the beds had comforters just thin blankets placed at the bottom of the bed….sheets and blankets look a little older and worn… not to mention a haunting note in the check in check out booklet including a rather disturbing explanation of what the pink, yellow, and green washcloths were supposed to be used for 🤢😂 I’ll let you imagine for yourself….again, lots of inside joke material there 😂 overall as a group we would definitely stay there again, just because the house is so unique and fun, but I would bring my own hand towels😵💫🤣 and blankets next time just because of the description on the welcome page and just to have actual comforters on the beds….I would recommend this house if you wanted to experience some eclectic style, if you are used to a typical vrbo house with matching linens and updated interiors, this may not be what you’re looking for, but it is in a very old neighborhood and that’s part of the charm. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay! 👍🏻

Couples attending a wedding stayed in the house ages 25-29. Owner required me to arrive earlier than expected to allow attendees to stay in house and made me sleep over with them because there was no one in the house 30+. (My husband was then in another house). Owner harassed guests when stopping by unannounced because there was a support dog and she didn’t know all the names of the 12 people staying there. The house is advertised for 12 people. I spent 3 hours of my son’s wedding day on the phone with owner and VRBO making sure the rest of the guests stay would be safe and secure in the house. Guests left house early so I could spend time with the rest of the family without drama. House not worth the hassle…

St. Augustine at it's finest!!!
Beautiful home conveniently located in the heart of old St. Augustine. Comfortably slept 14 with room to spare. Our host and property owner was absolutely fantastic and attentive to our needs. This beautiful house was perfect for our little family reunion/vacation. Walking distance to all the shops, sites, Distilleries/Wineries and a short drive to the beach. We're definitely coming back next summer if it's available.
