Casa de Serenidad is a contemporary condominium featuring modern amenities located on the 2nd floor with an elevator and ramp for easy access. Beautifully designed with natural stone and cedar, the condo is artfully decorated with native Mexican art & pottery, hand-loomed fabrics, handcrafted cabinetry and tropical beach rattan furnishings. You'll love our favorite place for siestas...the terrace where the hammock hangs below the Mexican tiled roof. Perfect for two couples to share, or a small family, with two primary bedrooms & private baths, a spacious covered terrace with sling back chairs and dining table. Prepared with your needs in mind, everything has been supplied for your comfort including comfortable queen-size mattresses, purified water, hair dryers, beach towels, quiet, cool air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen with high back Mexican style bar seating (pots/pans/blender/juicer/baking dishes - we have it all!). Enjoy all of the comforts of home, with none of the stress. Maid service two times each week (or more as you wish), and meal preparation upon request. The condo has a Smart TV ready for your streaming services. A perfect day includes a 10-minute walk for a beachside massage, rent a kayak, parasail or to play in the sand and surf at La Ropa Beach. El Centro, where you can mix with tourists and locals alike, is a leisurely stroll to Paseo de pescadores (fisherman’s walk). Zihuatanejo is a true fishing village where fishermen are out all night hooking the Catch of the Day for all of the local restaurants and merchants shop daily at any of the fresh meat, cheese and vegetable stands in the lively Mercado. For an evening out, stroll to one of the 5-star dining establishments or locally owned beach spots, or if you prefer dining in, stock your kitchen and bar from the colorful Mercado or from one of the two modern supermarkets nearby. Taxi service is readily available with bargain price door-to door service. The local bus stops just steps away and is a fast, cheap and a flavorful way to get around! Just returned from a week in Zihua staying in this condo and we absolutely loved it. We thought it was lovely the minute we walked in the door ... and that view is amazing! The condo is neat & tidy, decorated so nicely and just really feels like a home away from home! If there are any issues, Connie is very quick to respond as is the complex manager Dulce ... thank you so much to both these ladies! We loved our stay and can't wait to return!! Tanya & Kerry

This condo unit was great. It is up a hill but if you can’t make it back from the beach the cabbies are waiting for you. A 20 minute walk to town with many options for shopping and eating. The a/c works very well, super clean and a wonderful pool. The bed is comfy and even has a dishwasher.

Wonderful time. Connie's communications were awesome. Dulce met us on Christmas and greeted us with a big smile! All things required and needed were supplied. Book this one and have fun!

I just want to say the apartment is wonderful with only two exceptions the owners cut the cable service with no notice and the main bedroom bed was super high so it was difficult for my 79 yr old parents to enjoy the main. Otherwise we all enjoyed playing cards every night in the great room. Thanks for a memorable environment!

We absolutely loved the unit. The view from the living area and bedroom is amazing. The bed was super comfortable. A/C worked very well. Everything we needed was available. Nicely devoated. I wasn't expecting the housekeep so that was a bonus. The elevator is very close but we never used it. Its a very peaceful area with quiet renters and owners. The pools are very clean and the grounds are well kept. I diffinitely want to stay in this unit again. We have stayed in a smaller one at this property but I loved all the space for just the two of us.

We had a superb stay at this lovely condo. Proximity to town, restaurants and beach was great, and amenities perfect. All the comforts of home complemented by outstanding views, pools, sunsets and host! So looking forward to our next visit.

Thanks, Connie! What a lovely home you have. The pool is the best! I’m afraid to say that we didn’t do much besides hanging out at the pool and the beach, other than eating all that shrimp and guacamole......yum!

We stayed a week at Connie and Paul's condo from March 15-23, Everything was perfect. Connie even called to make sure everything was ok. The condo had all the amenities of home and Blancha came and cleaned twice while we were there. She does a great job. There are 2 beautiful infinity pools and plenty of lounge chairs .It has a beautiful view of the ocean and is just a short walk to the beach and into town,
( there are a few hill to walk up however but great exercise) , Thanks Connie and we'll definitely come back .

We stayed here in November and had a wonderful experience. As others have reported, the condo is gorgeous and the view is incredible. You'll feel blessed when you wake up to the view from the master bedroom. There was nothing better than sitting on the patio with a cocktail at the end of the day soaking up the view and feeling the warm, balmy tropical air. You're in for a treat the first time you hear the call of a Chacalaca (local bird) - They have a very unique sound.
We loved walking to both La Ropa and Las Gatas beaches. We had fun walking to Las Gatas using the rocky coastal path and then taking the water taxi from there back into town. We rented a car but if you plan on staying in the Zihua area only, I would recommend not renting one. We had no problem walking from the condo to anywhere in La Ropa or central Zihua. The cabs are very inexpensive too so using them several times a day would still be less expensive than renting a car. Everyone in town is very friendly and we always felt safe.

This is a wonderful unit with a good view of the bay from both the balcony and the master bedroom. The unit is clean and in good shape. The second bedroom is small but functional. Be aware that the bed in the second bedroom is small, but not a problem if you're not overly tall. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals and plastic cups for poolside. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to to our friends and family

We absolutely loved our stay at Connie and Paul's beautiful place. The condo is comfortable, well equipped and the views are spectacular. We especially loved laying in bed at night and hearing the waves hit the shore, so surprised that we could hear them so well. The condo had everything we could possibly need and is beautiful and a wonderful place to come home to after a day of activites. Whether out exploring, beaching it or relaxing at "home," we were comfortable and relaxed. Eli, the manager, was extremely helpful whenever we had need for a suggestion and once we rented a car, we really got to know Zihua, went to the Commercial whenever we needed something , drove up to take a look at Ixtapa (no comparison to Zihua!) and even south to Barra de Potosi. Everything was perfect! Connie's book of suggestions was so helpful as was her friend Harriet's. Our vacation in Zihuatenejo and, in particular, at Casa de Serenidad was FABULOUS!
