A nice weekend getaway

Our sweet youngest daughter was 8 years younger than her brother and 15 y younger than her sister. For her 19th birthday ( and before she leaves for boot camp) we wanted one more vacation with the whole family. Pigeon Forge seemed a perfect fit and Aunt Bugs Cabin was a great choice. All the necessities were there and some wonderful extras like a gaming system, pool table and theater seating. Each family had its own bathroom and there was an adequate amount of towels and bedding. The kitchen was clean and the cabin was rustically, beautifully furnished. We also enjoyed the on site (down the drive) salt water pool after our hot day at Dollywood.
The location was perfect for groceries, restaurants, and easy access to Dollywood! The description said it slept 10, but that was only if 2 people slept on the blow up mattress (we only had 9 people so it was fine for us). All told, we had a wonderful trip thanks, in part, to our hosts who made it so easy.

We bought Dollywoods season passes and plan on coming multiple times when they reopen; however; I will not only ever be staying here, but I will NEVER be staying at any of “Aunt Bugs” Cabins again.

We enjoyed the location of the house and its listed amenities. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a pool for the enclosed houses/community. About 10-15 mins outside of GSMNP. Had what we needed.
Check-in process was simple, otherwise communication with Aunt Bugs rental service was tough. Spent quite a bit of time on hold over the phone. The pool was closed when we got there, and after being told upon check in that it was open, we were confused. It took about 24 hrs and multiple phone calls for Aunt Bugs rental service to figure things out. Bob was very helpful. Had asked to speak with a manager after several other frustrating phone calls, still awaiting that call.
House was fairly clean. Found a pair of previous renter's underwear near the hot tub. Was never picked up over the several days we were there, despite mentioning it twice to guest services. Several things regarding the home theater system and hot tub weren't working. Maintainence was there the next day to fix. Other than with Bob, communication was poor with guest services. Generally enjoyed the house, but there is room for improvement.

The rental contract was like signing your life away! Too detailed and picky about EVERYTHING. We have stayed in the Smokies many times in condos, chalets and cabins and renting this property was a real hassle. The key in the box idea for entry was ridiculous considering most places today have key cards or punch codes. Not furnishing enough towels and soaps is cheap. Never have we had to bring so many items on a vacation because the place we rented doesn't furnish things. The floors were absolutely filthy. As our toddler proved with nasty dirty knees and hands and our own feet.

I rented the cabin so my son and his familythat lives in Texas could come up and spend Thanksgiving with me and his twin brother and his family. We had a great time, and for the most part the cabin was fine. I just wish it didn't have the cob webs and the black mold around the tubs.

We had a wonderful and restful time - our group consisted of a granddaddy, grand mommy, mom and dad, and 1.5year old Harrison. The cabin was perfect... mom and dad in the bottom floor - Harrison in the middle and the grandparents on the top floor. Close to everything - a great place, as long as you don't mind hills, to walk. We could not have had anything better.

We had a fantastic stay at the Boulder Bear Lodge. The cabin is so cozy! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the theater/game area and the hottub. We prepared several meals in and the kitchen had all the cookware that we needed. The location is perfect. It is in a quiet area but very close to the Parkway. We loved it and can't wait to do this trip again.

Beautiful home. Plenty of space for my 6 kids. Christmas ready even for cooking. Only concern was not enough hot water capacity for showers in the morning. I would suggest an upgrade on the hot water system. Note steep hill access in winter although when we arrived there was no wintery conditions. Located in pigeon forge not gatlinburg but you are on a mountain off the mainstreet.

Cabin was located close enough to the action, but far enough to be quiet. Only downside it was right on the road with little parking and the drive up to it pointed headlights right into the bedrooms. Overall though, the cabin was great. Lots of room, kitchen was well-appointed. Nice hot tub and entertainment area with big screen TV and wet bar. Video games and juke box, though it wasn't working.
