About this house rental
Situated in Surfside Beach, this charming house for $350 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Named 'Beach Retreat', this beautiful home is one of Surfside Beach's most relaxing and cozy homes. Surfside Beach is called, 'The Family Beach', a relaxed, family-oriented community close enough to enjoy the amenities of Myrtle Beach, but far enough away from all of the traffic and congestion This coastal home has its own private pool in a fenced-in courtyard with two covered porches overlooking the pool. The home is located within an easy walk to the beach and within steps of many great restaurants, fishing pier, ice cream shoppe, and much much more. All that Myrtle Beach has to offer is just minutes away. Nightly rental (three night minimum) available in early spring and fall. Pets are not allowed. This home has four bedrooms and three baths. Upstairs are three bedrooms: #1, Master with King, #2,a King, #3, two Doubles, and downstairs, #4, two Doubles. All bedrooms have a connecting bath and smart TV’s. There is also plenty of seating for all whether you are relaxing watching a movie or enjoying a great meal. Also, our homes have interior windows shutters throughout for a great night’s sleep and granite in the kitchen. *****Our cancellation policy is as follows: the amount paid towards your reservation will be refunded once the property has been rebooked. Also, sheets and towels are not included in our rental. Vacation equipment rentals, 843-215-2700 is the service most of our guests use. My family and I travelled to Surf Side for a family vacation and to spend time with my oldest son who resides in Surf Side. We rented this house because it fit all our needs and had enough space for 10 people.
The house was in very good shape, very clean and only one block from the beach. The location was awesome, we were only half a block from several restaurants and everyone in our group needs were met. I could go on for a very long time talking about this house but most people do not like reading long winded reviews.
I will finish by saying that we would definitely return to this location in the future, the owners are very responsive to any questions or issues, the house is very well maintained, the pool was clean and warm.
I highly recommend this house for future outings and or vacations.

Summer vacation
We had a lovely time! The house was very close to the beach and there were several restaurants within walking distance .
There was plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas at the house to take to the beach.
Having a private pool at the house was awesome .plenty of floats and pool chairs.
Everyone drives golf carts … I didn’t realize that until we got down there and there were none to rent when we got there, so don’t wait to rent one !
The process with the linen was super easy as well

The location is perfect, easy walk to the beach and several restaurants. We would absolutely recommend staying here and plan to revisit next time we're in the area! We enjoyed our stay in this house. It was close to the beach and the pool was heated. The pool is on the small side for 12 people but as long as everyone doesn’t want to swim at the same time it’s fine. The house was not as clean as we would have liked. It really needs a deep clean and a major dusting! The owner was very responsive when we told her about it and even drove up to make it right. A few things to keep in mind when renting this house, it doesn’t come with any extras. We purchased: trash bags, paper plates, plastic cups, pump hand soap (it has a bar in each bathroom), extra toilet paper (only comes with 1 roll in each bathroom), and napkins. Also, the linen service sent us sheets that barely fit the king size mattresses and they were not as clean as we would have hoped. They said they acid wash them and did offer to bring new ones. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely, clean and spacious rental
The house looked just like it was advertised. It was spacious , clean and cozy. Furniture was comfortable. Had lots of amenities and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was ideal and close to the beach and many restaurants. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this rental property.

Great vacation home!
We loved our stay at the Beach Retreat! The location is perfect for walking to the beach, local restaurants and shops and within a short drive of Myrtle Beach. We had a group of 4 adults and 4 children, and the house was roomy enough for us all. The pool was wonderful, and refreshing. Everying was also very clean and they had a lot of kitchen items and beach toys/chairs supplied, which was very handy! Already planning a return trip for next year.

Very nice property and owners!
From booking the property to check out, the owners were very thorough, responsive and so nice! The property was exactly as described. A private pool is a priority for our family, and the pool was perfect unlike some other properties - sizable and always in full sun. We would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved the house. There were 4 of us and 3 of us have a very busy lifestyle. We work alot and it was so nice to just be able to relax by the pool.
The house was very clean and the walk to the beach was like just a few minutes.
It was our first stay at the surfside area and the location was great. Everything was within a reasonable drive to get to.

Best Place Ever
This was the first time renting a vacation home for our family. We are so glad we found Beach Retreat, it far exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully decorated and so clean and bright. Closeness to the beach and the private pool were the highlights of the home. Everything was perfect!!

We had a great vacation stay in this house! The house is close to the beach, the pool is perfect with lots of chairs to sit and relax, the homeowners are great to work with, and the house is well stocked if you want to make any meals. I highly recommend renting this house!

Surfside family beach vacation
My nine year old grandson said it best. “The best part of our vacation was the rental beach house and pool in the backyard”. It was a great set up with beach, restaurants., playground and ice cream within a short walking distance. Besides having a great home, Betty, one of the owners was wonderful, including responding quickly to emails, and getting board games. It truly was a fun vacation that will endure with great memories and pictures. Highly recommend this vacation by owner home!!!

Wonderful Beach Week
Our family had a great beach vacation, and this cottage worked perfectly for us. The house is very clean, comfortably furnished, and well equipped for basic needs. Our three grandchildren loved having their own pool, and all of us appreciated the easy walk to the beach, as well as restaurants and shops. We definitely recommend this property to other families.

Great House For Our Family
The Stanley's home was perfect for our vacation. We were visiting for our son's baseball tournament at Grand Park and this location is about 10 minutes from the ballpark and an easy drive. In addition, the house is only 2 short blocks to the beach. The beach access is close and a good distance from the public beach, so it is not that crowded. The pool was the perfect size for our family of 6, as well. This location is also 2 blocks from a seafood, pizza, burgers and ice cream restaurants by the pier. We drove to Murrells Inlet one night for a nice dinner there and it is an easy drive there, as well. Thanks Stanley's!
