Located close to the ocean, you can enjoy great ocean views while watching your kids swim in the lagoon-style heated pool, with easy access to the sandy beach just steps away! The living room of Blue Whale Retreat features a sectional sofa with queen size pull-out bed and a Samsung Smart TV. It opens to a private ocean-view balcony. The contemporary kitchen features custom cabinets, granite counters, tumbled stone back splash, tile floor, and recessed lighting. You'll find a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. It is equipped with dishes, pots, pans and flatware, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. The dining area seats four. The entire 2nd level is the romantic primary bedroom retreat with a large ocean-view balcony. The downstairs bedroom has 2 full size beds. The lower level bath is a tub/shower combination and the second level bathroom is a walk in shower. For your viewing enjoyment, 3 televisions are provided. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet. Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. As an added plus, this property comes with TWO assigned parking spaces in the underground, gated garage. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to North Coast Village, you're transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex located in Oceanside, California, between the Harbor and the Pier. You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, and sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit. There is also a putting green and foosball. When you venture all the way through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat, with fire rings, volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Be sure to stake out a fire ring to the south for a unique evening beach fire at least one night while you are in Oceanside. To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed) or casual dining at Ruby's. North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer. We have been visiting this condo complex for many years and D303 was a GREAT condo for our family stay. The management company was great in welcoming us and providing their info if any issues came up. My parents ended up staying on the first floor because the stairs were too steep for them, but it worked out fine with our kids on a blow up matress upstairs with us. The kitchen was stocked beautifully, with everything we needed!! The linens were stocked well and in very nice condition. Overall, the furniture was nice and comfortable. My only negative remarks were on cleanliness. The bathroom upstairs had toiletpaper in the shower and floor, as if they wiped it down with it then accidentally left the remnants. The upstairs shower tile should cleaned better and the sofa had a few dirty spots on the seat and arm rests. Otherwise a PERFECT vacation spot!!! We really hope to stay again!

Absolutely loved staying here! Very clean and convenient location. Beds were very comfortable and we were supplied with plenty of bedding. The unit required you to go to the third floor to enter and we found the elevator to be temperamental-some days it worked, some days it didn't. That was annoying sometimes. We were also only given two towels per guest, for an entire week-which maybe seems like a lot to some, but coming to and from the beach and the pool as often as we did, it wasn't enough. There is however a washer/dryer on the property, so we were able to wash them as we needed (must provide your own soap). The host also does not supply any shampoo/conditioner (just a heads up to any guests who are used to having that), but there is a grocery/convince store close by to pick that up. The host does provide four Beach chairs and two youth sized body boards. (There was an adult size one as well, but it was broken so we left it behind) which made beach days now fun. Anyway, I hope this review helps you to understand exactly what to expect, but I would for sure recommend staying here! It was a blast!

We had a wonderful time here. The location is great — right on the beach, and a short walk to the pier and downtown Oceanside or the harbor. The property is advertised as 2 bedrooms, but it's really 1 bedroom plus a large loft. The primary suite is an upstairs loft without a door that closes. It wasn't a big deal for us, but it might be for another family. The property was clean and included plenty of paper towels and toilet paper for our 5-night stay. The parking spot is tight!

This condo was even nicer and cozier than the pictures. The mirror on the wall made it feel so open and the fireplace was a nice touch. The view of the pool and ocean was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the condo felt very spacious. The upper deck was an extra special commodity. I would definitely book this place again, absolutely!

I will be booking this property for now on when I’m in Oceanside instead of the California beach club. The ocean is literally right there couldn’t ask for a better location. I usually stay at another property with my family but we tried this one out do to a cancellation of the property we previously booked. I want to say I’m extremely happy we did!! The condo is absolutely perfect it has everything you need and more. You literally only need to bring your family and food! My dad is very sick and in a wheelchair but thankfully there was a room down stairs for him to stay in which was perfect! It comes with two parking spots but one is very hard to get into! Make sure you read all parking rules is my only recommendation on this property they write you tickets! We had family coming to see my dad we are waiting for a transplant and he’s very ill so this was a beautiful place to bring him to! The beach is literally right there can’t beat that at all!!

Just felt almost like an all-inclusive resort. The facilities were plentiful and wonderfully maintained. The area was very safe and walkable. Simple check in and check out. Unlike many resorts, which can be overrun with loud kids and heavy drinking adults, this place was calm and quiet. Definitely geared toward older adults. Just what we needed.

The condo itself was a nice layout the carpet in the living room seemed dirty there was a broken ceiling fan bulb in the guest bedroom with a glass still inside of it and the TV did not work in there. .

We loved our stay here. I was worried our family of 6 might feel cramped but that was not the case. It was nice to have two bathrooms for all of us.
Access to the beach was quick and easy with a shower right there to get all the sand off. My kids loved the pool as well.
The only down side, if any, was we got pretty warm on the second floor. Outside temperature was 78 but we were overheating inside. The condo does provide a big fan in addition to the ceiling fan to help with that, but then I couldn't hear the ocean at night. It's not a deal breaker though. We would definitely stay here again!
Oh parking did prove a bit problematic for us. We have mini-van and it was a tight fit especially because the car next to us kept parking over the line and there was a pole on the other side. If you don't have a large vehicle, you won't have any problems at all.

Family (no itinerary) getaway
We had a fantastic time during our stay. We rotated between time at the beach and the pool. The condo was perfectly sized for our family of four. The balconies had amazing views out to the ocean where we shipped out coffee and watched the surfers each morning. We're already ready to book another stay.

We stayed a week in March at D303 with a little cool temperatures. We used the heat a couple of times and it made the place warm and cozy. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice with stone countertops and tile. The condo was nicely painted and very clean. We only slept in the king bedroom upstairs and it was very comfortable and spacious. Having the two decks was awesome however both outdoor table sets were terribly rusted and way overdue for a replacement. The condo grounds were beautiful and very clean. We felt very safe on the property and it was easy to get to. We would book again once the outdoor furniture is replaced with some nice comfy sets.

Very nice property
We stayed here in August, so it was quite warm inside of the unit, especially in the 2nd floor master bedroom. No A.C., and not much cross ventilation or ocean breezes. Otherwise, we really liked it...clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. Definitely adequate.
