Located in Faubourg Marigny, this lovely house for $573 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Location, Location, Location. Be sure to see our 87+ 5 Star Reviews! Our 2 Louisiana, and 1 Mississippi property. All neworleans-gulfcoast vacation rentals are Non-Smoking! The Rampart house sleeps 6 guest. No smoking, Inside, outside, in front of the property, or in The Courtyard area is prohibited! This is a strict policy.. Please do not ask! Public transportation is just a 3 minute walk and just 1 block away. The Streetcar originates and terminates on the corner 1 block from the property. Temporarily Closed. BEST of all!, there is a brand new full service grocery store across the street just steps away. ROBERT"S FRESH MARKET. It has everything you need. Also...... a Starbuck's right across the street on the corner. We are surrounded by local bubs and neighborhood fine dining eateries. We will provide you with that list at time of booking with us. This is our personal home, we do live there when we do not have guest. We enjoy sharing our home with our guest. We just ask that you treat it like it was yours! NO extra visitors, NO parties, No smoking or drugs are prohibited! We just ask to keep all gates and doors closed, locked and secured at all times. For your safety, as well as our homes saftey! We do live in a great well lit, friendly neighborhood. The Rampart House has central air & heat, Cable TV, phone & internet/WIFI. Plenty of outside lighting. The outdoor courtyard patio area has plenty seating outside as well as a 8ft privacy fence for our guest to enjoy! This area is shared with our upstairs Courtyard Suite property connected to The Rampart House. We call that: The Camel-back portion of the property. The Rampart House has a spacious double - Parlor living area. A large body mirror at the doorway entry. The quiet space from the rest of the home. 1/2 parlor is for relaxation away from others. The other 1/2 parlor is sleeping space for 2 guest. The dining area offers a huge 8 person sit down table and chairs, for that formal dining experience. The King master suite provides a new and comfortable king-size bed. It's own private bathroom. Two vanities with mirrors, private restroom, ( room ) with closing door. There are 2 regular shower heads, with hand shower wands, and 1 rain fall shower head, for a total of 3 shower heads. A huge laundry room with 2 washers / Dryers. We supply dye-free detergents, fabric softer, and dye free cling free, dryer sheets, All complimentary for your use. This room also has a walk-in closet and 2 ceiling fans. A wall mounted SMART tv is easily viewed from the comfort of the bed. Also a large dresser with mirror, side tables on both side of the bed. The 2nd bedroom, master suite has a queen-size bed, a dresser, and a make up mirror stand/desk, for those needing a place for to beautify! as well as a easy access to the 2nd full bathroom in the front of the property. A SMART on the fireplace that can be watched from your bed.. Our 3rd bedroom, master suite also has a queen sized bed, walk in closet dresser as well as a SMART TV, to be watched from your bed. a mirror on top of the fireplace mantle. As well as easy access to the bathroom in front of the property. The Rampart House has a full-size kitchen with new cabinets and granite countertops. Stainless steel appliances include a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, gas stove, double ovens, and microwave. The rear door of the property gives you access the the private courtyard that is shared with our upstairs Courtyard Suite guest. Hair dryers are provided in all both bathrooms, as well as in the half bath, totaling 3 blow dryers. A iron and ironing board, large umbrella's are provided also for those rainy days. Just bring them back please! This is the house for relaxation, quiet time, and is close to everything. We just ask: We live in a (neighborhood ) where our neighbors are less than 6ft away on both sides of our property. Please respect New Orleanss city ordanace noise from 10p=7am. The house is beautiful and very clean, and we loved the back patio area for relaxing. Beyond the property itself, other things we liked:
- The owners are engaged, responsive, and helpful. They went above and beyond to leave a small gift in the house to celebrate my parents' anniversary, which was the purpose of our family trip.
- The location is quiet but easily walkable to the French Quarter and Frenchman street
- The grocery store right across the street made it easy to stock the house for family dinners
- Parking was never a problem
Overall, this is an excellent property - would stay again.

They even came by to blow the leaves and acorns off the courtyard again in case we wanted to sit outside. The home itself is a charmer--it is set up for privacy yet plenty of space for group meals and games. I would love to know more of the history of the home (can they publish a book on its restoration and set out a copy for guests to read?) The master bedroom and bath are lovely, thank you! The home is within a mile of the hot spots in NOLA so we rarely needed to use our car. The grocery store across the street was very convenient and the many great coffee spots and restaurants nearby were great. Thank you for a memorable vacation with our adult children.

My friends and I stayed for President's Day weekend and we couldn't stop commenting that this is the nicest house we've stayed at in NOLA in the many years visiting. Good location, great communication with the owners, and lovely decor. Check-in process was painless and easy. We'll be book again for sure!

Great location!
The house was in a great location, walkable to tons of restaurants and bars. The hosts were very communicative and helpful.
My feedback would be that this is definitely not a place to stay if you’re looking to party - the hosts are very adamant about noise ordinance rules after 11pm, even with a 24-hour bar on the same block. It was fine for us to abide by, but a little nerve-wracking at times. This is New Orleans, after all!
The house is beautifully kept and clean, but the lighting was very dark. There weren’t mirrors in all the bedrooms, making it a little difficult for 6 girls to do their makeup at the same time. Also, there were no hooks on the bedroom or bathroom walls to hang towels to dry. We found ourselves draping our towels over the shower curtain rod or over closet doors. Additionally, some of the doors were difficult to open and keep shut.
At one point late at night, the host opened the front gate and walked around on the front steps to the door. I believe they were checking to make sure it was locked? But some of our group was in the house and left the gate open for the rest of our group to filter in. This was a little alarming to us, as we weren’t sure if someone was attempting to break in.
All in all, we had a great time and felt comfortable in Matt & Steve’s home. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great Marigny location
Hosts were wonderful and it was a great location. Close to French Quarter and easy walk to fun places to see that are more off the beaten path of New Orleans, like Crescent Park and Bywater. Beautiful patio. The only complaint is that a neighbor enjoyed playing piano in the middle of the night, which was disruptive to sleep. Otherwise, a great stay.

Family vacation
The house is wonderful - so well appointed - and Matt and Steve were perfect hosts - accessible, friendly and helpful. I am a longtime NOLAphile and enjoyed exploring this neighborhood that is just becoming known to others and is changing so much. We will be back!

Great house!
We came for a girls weekend and not being familiar with New Orleans we lucked out! The house easily sleeps 8 comfortably! The outdoor space was an added bonus. The location was great. Right by some fun activities in Marigny. It is just about a 10-15 minute walk to Frenchman St. and about a 25-30 minute walk to the French Quarter. I would recommend walking only during the day and in a group. The hosts were very communicative and helpful! They turkey make you feel at home. The check out tasks were minimal and very easy. Highly recommend this house!

You Won't Go Wrong
There is not much I can say that hasn't already been said in other reviews. An excellent place, beautifully restored in a great location. Steps to the streetcar line and easy walks to Frenchman's and the Quarter. It is well equipped throughout with a great kitchen. Welcoming hosts who were gracious even when our party lost a set of keys. Thank you Matt and Steve for a wonderful stay.

Amazing spot!
This place was perfect for our group’s Nola weekend! The home was very spacious, clean, modern, and everything was very comfortable. Matt is a wonderful host and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The location is ideal for easy access to the French Quarter and the neighborhood felt safe at all hours- the grocery store just across the street was a very convenient too. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time staying with Matt at Bearigny Suites for Essence Fest. The property is gorgeous and comes with extra, unexpected perks to make your stay complete. Matt is definitely the ‘Host with the Most’, checking on us daily to make sure we weren’t in need of anything.

Beautiful Home
Everything was perfection from location to the hospitality of the home owner, Matt. His dining recommendations were spot on as well! We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and he surprised her with balloons all over the house. Such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture!
My only note would be that the doors indie the house (bathrooms, bedroom, do not close/stay closed. So if traveling in mixed company, it might be a little uncomfortable.
We will definitely be back!!

The BEST place to stay! It has it all and more!
Location, property space, roomy, comfort, historic old New Orleans, CLASSY, well lit, Free parking in front of the property,
a full service grocery store that has everything you could possibly need, the trolly, public tansportation 2/3 minutes away, The BEST hidden Jazz on Frenchmen street all within a short walking distance. We were in NOLA just for 2 nights prior to boarding a cruise. The location was amazing. An easy walk to so many items on our list of musts in the short time we were there. Matt picked us up at the airport for a very reasonable fee. And he took us to the cruise terminal when we checked out. There is a very nice grocery store literally right across the street. Matt and David thought of all the little things that make staying in a VRBO so nice. Coffee, bottled water. The property was very clean and safe. We will definitely stay again if we ever get to NOLA again.

Doesn't Get Much Better Than Bearigny Suites
If you are considering a stay at any of the Bearigny Suite properties, book now before it's gone! You will not be disappointed!
We recently had a wonderful visit in NOLA and could not have made a better choice than our accomodations at the Marigny Suite. The suite is immaculately maintained, comfortable and conveniently located to both the jazz clubs on Frenchman Street, the open French Market and the Quarter.
Having stayed in the Quarter on all of our previous trips, I must admit it was nice to return to a quiet atmosphere to relax for a bit and recharge on the patio with an afternoon cocktail before heading back out for dinner and evening activities.
Frenchman Street is only a few blocks away and we never had concerns walking back from the clubs at night (usually after midnight); the route home is well-traveled with sufficient lighting. Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful though if you aren't up for the walk.
There are also some wonderful restaurants in close proximity to the suite (the Ruby Slipper is a must for breakfast and about a 10 min. walk) and The Joint has great BBQ (you will need to take a 5 min. Uber ride). The market across the street was quite convenient for everyday needs and is literally steps from your front door. The Parkway also serves up one of the best Po' boys in town!
But the final plus is that you will not find more gracious and attentive hosts; Matt was friendly, accomodating and informative, but allows you the necessary privacy to enjoy your stay. The owners' take great pride in their properties and go to great lengths to ensure your visit to NOLA will be a memorable one!! There is no doubt that we will be returning in the future!

Amazing Location, Excellent Hosts, Perfect Space
Location: I was absolutely blown away by the proximity to everything we wanted to do in New Orleans. The walk from EFS at the Bearigny Suites to Frenchman Street, Bourbon Street, and the waterfront was extremely safe and very comfortable. The grocery store directly across the street was a HUGE asset for on the go food as well as stocking up on any supplies you may need for a night on the town. As the final cherry on top, the driving directions from the main highway to the property are very straightforward and the parking space saved by Matt and Steve was greatly appreciated.
Hosts: Matt and Steve were wonderful hosts. Matt started our stay by welcoming us on the street to our parking space (that he saved for us) and even parallel parking the vehicle for me. He showed us around the property and made us feel incredibly comfortable with the few ground rules (particularly sad the hot tub was not available). They did provide a nice selection of soft drinks, water, and beer in our units fridge as well as a community fridge in the outdoor seating area. Steve and Matt were always available when we needed advice or help with anything and everything in New Orleans; however, they don't intrude on guests space at all and would be perfectly happy staying away if you didn't want to see them during your stay. I personally recommend getting to know these two wonderful hosts and allow them to show you their beautiful city of New Orleans.
Space: The pictures of this property don't do it justice! The living space is extremely comfortable with a couch, dining table, sitting chair, and refrigerator/coffee maker. We had 5 people staying in this property and never felt crowded when sitting in the living area. The sleeping arrangement is also very nice with the first bed just inside the entry door and the other two beds in a closed off room behind the first bed. We stayed in January, and even coming from Fargo, ND there was a night where the weather got a little chilly. Note that the bathroom seems to get colder than the rest of the unit, so if you are using the central air keep that in mind.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this property. I plan on returning to New Orleans again and when I do I will definitely be looking to stay at the Bearigny Suites!

Amazing place, loved it.
The Elysian Fields Suite is amazing. The suite is nicely furnished and comfortable which made for an unbelievable first trip to New Orleans. Located just a short walk from the French Quarter, as well as a few great restaurants and bars close by. Matt was hands down the best host you could ask for, from the start he made me feel welcome and at home. Thanks Matt for your help making this a great vacation.

Great New Orleans Stay!
Great property in an awesome location. So close to Frenchman, Decatur, French Market, Bourbon etc - terrific for tourists wanting to be close to the main game and be able to withdraw from it at the same time. Our hosts were the most accommodating hosts we have ever experienced - just amazing. The house is well appointed and everything you need is provided - great kitchen, bathroom & laundry facilities. Close to one of the best supermarkets I have seen with a wide variety of options including terrific coffee, hot meals, liquor- everything you could ever need. Close to public transport/trolley which is terrific, frequent and reliable. Our hosts were most generous and helped us with the best airport transfers and recommendations/tips on the best places to eat, drink and visit. If you're thinking about staying here and visiting New Orleans then this is a great place to consider staying. We were a family of four adults and will definitely be coming back! Great location, well appointed, lots of amenities, clean, working, safe, quiet and the owners are responsive, communicative and nearby if you need help. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect NOLA rental - Wonderful Location!
We were so lucky to have found this jewel on our New Year's trip to New Orleans! The owners communicated everything we needed to know from beginning to end and were extremely thoughtful hosts. The location can't be beat -within walking distance to Frenchman St, the French Quarter, and the trolley. We highly suggest walking the Crescent City Park trail along the Mississippi to Elizabeth's in Bywater for a great breakfast! The property was beautifully decorated, super clean, quiet, and well-appointed with toiletries, linens, and coffee. Would definitely recommend. If we're lucky enough to get back to NOLA, there is no doubt we will stay here again!

Absolutely perfect!
This place was great! It was well maintained and equipped with everything you could need. Outdoor seating areas were nice. The neighborhood was safe and a very convenient walk to the French Quarter and anywhere else we wanted to go. Great grocery store across the street and trolley was a block away as well. Matt was an excellent resource and made himself available for any questions we might have along the way. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Property
My family and I just spent a great weekend at this property in Marigny. The house is about a black from the streetcar - very convenient. Also in walking distance to Frenchman Street and the French Quarter. The rooms were nicely done and very clean. The owner, Matt, was welcoming, helpful, and very accommodating. The house is very charming and very well maintained. The description of the house is very accurate. The rooms are large and very well furnished. The beds are very comfortable and we slept very well. It was life saving to have a kitchen available with all the features in working conditions. The exteriors are clean and we felt very safe.The location of the home is within walking distance from Frenchmen street and Esplanade Ave. We enjoyed walking to lists of good restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the Ruby Slipper Café that is within walking distance. The covered parking was Very convenient and hassle free. The owner, Matt was very professional and knowledgeable of the city. Matt is very flexible and made sure that our experience was pleasurable. I recommend the house to family and friends and next time we visit New Orleans we will contact Matt to rent any of his houses.

We had a great stay at Matt and Steve's home. We have stayed at several rental homes and this one ranked up there with one of the nicer homes we have stayed in. The location was a short walk to the street cars and the off street parking was much appreciated (If your familiar with New Orleans parking this is a huge plus)! The house is Much larger than it appears from the outside and the conveniences they offer are awesome! The guys had a beautiful Christmas tree up and the home felt very welcoming. We felt very safe and secure. The house being pet friendly worked out great as we traveled on this trip with my parents and their small dog. The guys welcomed us in and showed us around the home and were very friendly and offered tips on restaurants and sights to see while we enjoyed New Orleans. It's unfortunate that the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor deck and the new stores across the street opened the day after we left. However, for the next guests these amenities are available. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting the New Orleans area. It was quiet and away from the craziness of the French Quarter, but within walking distance to so much! And after all the walking we did I and my daughter appreciated the oversize soaking tub that allowed us to take much needed bubble baths! My Mom appreciated the walk in shower with a seat in her bathroom. Thanks again gentlemen for the hospitality! You helped us make lasting memories on our holiday trip to New Orleans!

My wife, daughter, son and I just stayed at Matt's place for 4 nights. First, Matt was waiting for us and showed us around the house and gave us all the info on what to do, where to go and even gave us 4 tickets to the WWII museum. Amazing. The location of the house is great since you can walk to everything within 15 to 30 minutes. We left the rental at the house for 4 days. The house has everything you need, plenty of room and lots of charm. I'd stay there again and if you are planning a trip to NOLO you should stay here. Again Matt is great.
