About this house rental
Located in Ocean View, this charming house for $375 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing will occur prior to the arrival of each guest. Cleaning crews wear masks and gloves and use CDC approved cleaning products. All rooms are disinfected using a spray gun and disinfecting solution on all light switches, remotes, doorknobs, lamps, countertops, cabinet door handles, sinks, faucets, toilets, showers and tubs. New carpeting installed in our home in 2021. From May 25 thru September 30, 2024, weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday are required. Spacious 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath row house with 3 Master suites. The outstanding Bear Trap Dunes golf club, indoor/outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, saunas, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball court, and the world class fitness center are steps away from our home. Our home sleeps 12 comfortably in bedrooms. There is also a queen sleep sofa in the English basement. The home has been furnished with superior bedding and platinum grade appliances. The upper floor has two large Master bedrooms. One has a king size bed, private bathroom, ceiling fan, cable HDTV, and a Juliet balcony overlooking the Village Green. The second Master Bedroom on the upper floor has 2 queen size beds, private bath with dual vanity, ceiling fan, and cable HDTV. Both of these bedrooms have large walk in closets. The first floor includes the third Master Bedroom with a queen size bed, private bath, walk in closet, ceiling fan, and cable HDTV. The main living area on this floor is comprised of the kitchen, dining area and living room. This area has cable HDTV with a DVD player, ceiling fan, sofa, love seat, and a dining table for 8, which is supplemented by the granite topped island bar and 4 stools. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and a dishwasher. The first floor also has a half bath and a front hall closet which contains a booster chair for little ones, and a folding table and four chairs. The English basement has a separate bedroom, a laundry room with washer and dryer, a full bathroom, and a large living space which includes a queen-size sleeper sofa, love seat, rocking chair, cable HDTV with DVD player, ping pong and Foosball tables. The basement bedroom has a double bed, and two twin beds. This bedroom also has cable HDTV with a DVD player. The garage contains a basketball arcade game which is fun for kids of all ages, six beach chairs, and beach toys for kids. It is also a convenient place for stowing your bikes, strollers, golf clubs and sandy beach gear. Our patio has a large picnic table and umbrella for outdoor relaxation and for grilling on our gas grill. There is also a Weber kettle if you prefer. We provide mattress pads, pillows, blankets and comforters. For your comfort and economy, guests should bring their own sheets, pillow cases, and towels for each bathroom. There are also linen services available in the immediate area including delivery and pick up: www.galeforcerentals.com with phone #302-539-6244. There is a separate optional guest fee imposed by the Village at Bear Trap Dunes for use of the membership facilities including the Beach Shuttle buses, the indoor and outdoor pools, the Jacuzzi and two saunas, five tennis courts including four Har-Tru courts, a pickle ball court, basketball and volleyball courts, a Tot Lot for the kids, and the Pavilion fitness center with cardio and weight lifting equipment. These weekly passes are optional, however the facilities are excellent and are well worth the fee. Passes must be purchased at the Pavilion on the day of your arrival. Since you can share passes among your group, you should only purchase passes based on the maximum number of people who will be using the amenities at the same time.. The cost for these weekly passes during prime season is $55 per pass. Children under four are free. Please let me know if you have any questions. House Rules: Not adhering to the House rules may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund. 1.Lead renter must be at least 25 years old and will be responsible for all other guests in the party. 2. NO Senior Week parties. 3. NO Smoking. 4. NO pets. 5. Parking for a maximum of four vehicles. Prohibited vehicles include Campers, boats trailers or other oversize vehicles.

The owner was a great communicator and the check in and out was a breeze. The accommodations for our entire family couldn’t have been better. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Traveling with golf enthusiasts, the location to their favorite course was paramount!

We enjoyed every minute of our family vacation here. The place is very clean, plenty of storage, and kitchen well equipped. It's close to the pavilion, which was great. Even though the fee to use the facilities is expensive, it was worth the price since we used it every day. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Not far from Fenwick State Park, which we really liked the beach there. Beautiful home, would definitely rent this place again!

First time staying at Bear Trap Dunes, and it was absolutely beautiful. The home is close to the main pavilion where the pools and fitness center are, there's plenty of parking and the location is convenient for shopping and the beach!

Perfect home, amenities and location.
First time staying at Bear Trap Dunes, and it was absolutely beautiful. The home is close to the main pavilion where the pools and fitness center are, there's plenty of parking and the location is convenient for shopping and the beach!

We were about 30 minutes from Gordon’s Pond State Park which was great. The house was stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies. We enjoyed some games of ping pong :).. overall, it was a great experience.

We had a great time here! We had 5 little kids and the location to the pool was perfect it really made for a great stay! We were having issues with the fridge I reached out to Richard and he responded immediately! We would definitely go back again!

Having spent at least a dozen weeks in Bear Trap over the past 15 years, this home is very nice for many reasons: LOCATION - proximity to the main pool, fitness center, shuttle, golf, clubhouse (all a 2 minute walk at most); PARKING - it backs up to the main lot, so there is NEVER an issue with parking; HOME - the home is as advertised. Essentialy 3 master suites (1 with a King, 1 with two Queens, 1 with a single Queen) and a bedroom in the basement with 2 beds, perfect for kids. A fully stocked kitchen. A garage to keep your stuff or enjoy RIch's basketball game.
This was the year of COVID-19, so the back pool wasn't open for renters, the shuttle wasn't running, and unfortunately, there was a flood at the main pool/pool house the first few days. None of this was under RIch's control - and he communicated everything with me, literally everything that was shared with him! I appreciated that, being informed in advance - no surprises upon arrival. Overall, this was a very nice place and I'd rent there again if Rich would have me/us.

Our family of 4 and two guests thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Richard’s well-equipped home! There was plenty of space for two adults and 4 teens to have all the privacy desired. All the beds were comfortable for our liking and the house was very clean. The basement space and ping pong table were a bonus for the teens especially! The kitchen is well appointed, and suited for most cooking needs. There were also extra blankets and a few pillows too.
Bear Trap Dunes is a lovely, well-kept community with plenty of amenities should you purchase the weekly passes. We made use of the gym and weight room on most days and the young men with us played basketball daily. Because of Covid- 19, and the week of summer we visited, the normal beach shuttle was not running and the pool and community pavilion hours were a bit limited. Thankfully, we were able to manage beach parking because it was not such a crowded time of year. During busier times however, beach parking could prove a bit tricky. Overall, we would highly recommend Richard’s place and the Bear Trap complex in general. Great combination of resort type feel, with proximity to beaches.

Excellent Property - highly recommend it!
This home has it all! Just bring your bathing suit and move right in. The owner is a great communicator and even informed us of community events going on during our stay. We had one minor glitch with the door code and the maintenance company had it resolved on the phone (on a Sunday no less) in literally one minute - couldn’t ask for better service! Highly recommend staying here. Comfortably accommodates 14 people from three families.

Beach vacation
We had a 3 generation family of 8 adults and 5 children. The home was a great layout for our needs with plenty of room for kids to play and everyone to sleep. The amenities at Bear Trap were wonderful, especially the pool and shuttle to the beach. The owner was very communicative about the house, resort and area. He answered all my questions quickly. Overall we had a fabulous beach vacation.

Excellent accommodations
Had a wonderful weekend and plenty of space for everyone! Everything we needed for a great beach trip: close to the beach, plenty of parking and very clean. Having a bathroom for each room was very nice too. Bear Trap is a great little community with a lovely golf course too. For my next beach trip, I'll definitely try to rent this property again.

Comfortable, clean and convenient, great for large groups.
Our group consisted of 4 sets of people. This home was perfect to give everyone privacy and comfort. My husband and myself, along with our four children had our own bathroom and bedroom. My mother in law and her husband had their own bedroom and bathroom. My brother and sister in law to be had their own bedroom and bathroom, and my other brother in law along with his wife and kids had the basement with their own bedroom and bathroom. There was also a 5th bathroom (half) for everyone to share. The kitchen was well equipped, including a keurig and coffeepot, a crockpot, dishes and cookware. We found the home clean and decorated with beach touches which was nice. There were plentiful tv's and the air conditioning worked great. The outdoor picnic table was large along with an extra table in the garage. We enjoyed cooking on the grills and we all fit outside well. The kids enjoyed the basketball and ping pong games as well! We all got hot showers and there are plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Richard was great to work with, answered questions promptly and also promptly refunded the damage deposit.
Bear Trap the community is very nice, clean, and safe. This condo is an excellent location, just a 2 minute walk across an ample parking lot to the pavilion pool. My kids loved the pool, where there is a chest of toys and noodles available. The indoor pool is a great backup in case of a rainy day. My mother in law enjoyed the tennis courts, and we enjoyed the night movie one night in the pool. The shuttle service to the beach is nice, as you don't have to worry about parking. We are runners and enjoyed the low traffic streets within the community to run on.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Richard for opening your home to us, and for making things easy and smooth.

Great place to stay. Everything went well. We stayed there for one week and no complaints. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The Pavilion was extra but well worth it. Awesome shuttle service to the beach. However, not recommended for someone that has difficulty
going up steps. Our family would rent this property again. Richard and Mary were great to work with!
