About this house rental
Nestled in Ocean View, this lovely house for $375 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. We welcome you to stay at our newly renovated home away from home! This 5 BR 4.5 BA townhouse has everything you will need for a large group retreat. The house backs up the driving range and located right next to the clubhouse and amazing restaurant, The Den. You and your guests will enjoy so many amenities: Jack Nicklaus 27-hole golf course, indoor and outdoor pools, gym and even a shuttle to Bethany Beach! We have included items needed for the little ones in the group too (toys, books, potties, pack-n-play, stroller, booster seat, etc.). Linens are provided, along with beach chairs, coolers and more. Please bring your own beach towels. Main Master- King Upper Level Master- 2 Queens Upper Level BR- Queen Upper Level BR - Double and 2 singles Lower level BR- 2 Doubles Amenities: Per Bear Trap Dunes HOA; Weekly passes must be purchased by all guests 4 year and older. These passes cover the use of the pools, fitness facilities, tennis, playgrounds and seasonal shuttle. *Only need to purchase passes if using simultaneously. New Rates for 2023 - Ages 4 & Up: Summer Season: $55 weekly/per person Off-season: $40 weekly/per person 7 night minimum, Saturday to Saturday rentals June - August. All other months are a 3 night minimum Per the Town of Ocean View, the 5 bedrooms at the property allows for no more than 5 cars on premise. Please use the parking in front of garage first.

This is a lovely townhome that comfortably accommodated our family of 8 adults and 7 children. Bear Trap is very nice with well maintained facilities and friendly staff. We were disappointed that the powder room toilet did not work and clearly had not worked for some time. The grill, on which we planned an expensive dinner, also does not work; we could not attach the new propane tank we purchased because the valve was rusted. The electric outlets in the 4 bathrooms did not work, so hairdryers and other grooming aids could not be used, although outlets throughout the rest of the house worked just fine. Finally, the WIFI is unreliable and the working adults in our family were frustrated and had to leave Bear Trap to check email and attend on-line meetings. We enjoyed our time there and appreciate the amenities provided by the host.

Our family of 12 stayed for a week and had a great time! The house was clean when we arrived, and well stocked for everything we needed! Nice variety of bedding arrangements, and every couple/family was able to have their own bathroom, which is really nice. The main floor common area is small for a big group, but downstairs was the place to hang out and play a game or watch a movie. Downside is this is really the only place where the Wifi works. With poor cell service on at least three different networks, we had to use wifi calling, so had to go to the basement to do that. My husband also had to check in at work on his laptop. The house would benefit from a couple of wifi boosters, which I suggested to the owner. In her defense, one of us lives in the area, and said everyone has problems with the local internet provider.
The location of the condo was perfect - on the end of a row, so less neighbor noise, across from the clubhouse, and a short walk to the pool, which was a blessing with everything we had to tote for kids and baby! We really enjoyed the pool, which was never too crowded. We were also only a short drive to some great restaurants and mini golf. We also got lunch at the club house restaurant on one of our pool days and it was good! Easy take out to the pool.
Overall, I would recommend this house. It was comfortable, clean and convenient. You just have to be aware of the internet isssues, especially if you expect to work at all while on vacation.

We had a great week at this property. Anything you could possibly need was stocked by Liz. We did attempt to grill and had no gas but she told us where we could go close by to grill. There was plenty of room for the 11 of us to spread out and be comfortable! The outside area was a great place to sit and relax and have coffee in the morning or drinks in the afternoon. We would love to rent again from Liz next year!!

The place was really nice and as pictured! Our family had a great time. The community is great! Our family loved the pool and shuttle, but that does cost extra and can be costly with a large family. If you have golfers in the family, you can’t beat the location. Having the clubhouse so close is nice for a convenient meal or drinks.
The only downfall was the Wi-Fi. If you need that for work, trying to download anything was next to impossible. Contacting the host toward the end of our stay for 2 things, I didn’t get a response. Overall though, it was a great vacation.

The townhouse was very clean and exactly as advertised. The hosts provided everything you could want and had a lot of extras like paper products and toiletries. We brought our own but it was nice to have if you forgot anything. The garage was well stocked with beach gear. We had a great time.

We had a great week with 3 families getting together to celebrate our Mom's birthday. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better week.

The house was perfect for our whole crew! It was stocked full of everything you could possibly need. I have never stayed in a place before where the kitchen was such a wonderful working kitchen and had every appliance and gadget imaginable. Definitely would recommend this property. We had a phenomenal family gathering. The location of this townhome was so convenient to the amenities: swimming pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball, indoor lap swimming, hot tub, steam sauna, and the common lawn (ideal for cornhole and dessert party.) The garage was stocked with beach chairs and sports equipment. The interior was spotless with a variety of bedrooms and large party room in the basement. We had a great time!

A very enjoyable vacation for our 4 family group. House was spacious and well equipped so group activities were possible with adequate separation available for those who chose to sit out. Facility pass at Bear Trap pools/exercise was well worth it. especially for non-avid beach goers. Shuttles to beaches eliminate expensive and sometimes hard to find parkings.
Owners were very responsive to any and all questions/concerns.
Definitely planning on going back next year.

This home was perfect for our group. We had 4 couples and our children. Each couple had an spacious and comfortable bed. The children made use of each room and sofa bed!
The home was exactly as described. The driving range was a huge hit for all.
We would love to rent again and would certainly recommend this property.

This is such a beautiful and clean home!
Everything in this house is very Family Friendly! It literally had everything that you need for your little ones! Toys, Games, Baby Gates! The rooms are so roomy and comfortable. Thank you Liz for having us stay in your beautiful clean and cozy home!

The house was absolutely amazing. It was georgious, lots of space and it had anything & everything you needed and more. It was very clean, all guests commented the beds and even the pillows were very comfortable, clean. My friends and I were looking to get away for a long weekend from healthcare....we are exhausted! We had lots of drinks and lots and lots of laughs. And were able to share our stories. Location was great. Bethany is like between Rehobeth & OC. We visited both sides. Spent day sitting on the beach. Nice to have nearby restaurants and shops. Royal farm store at the end of the road. It truly is a great house & location. Thank you!

Parking was pretty easy although sometimes during day you have to circle for a spot bc of the golfers. Easy 10 minute drive to Bethany, 3 minute drive to Giant. Rooms were great and loved the basement, esp the mini fridge that helped clear space in the main fridge. Good for families with young kids as there are already some toys there plus kid friendly plates/bowls/cups and utensils. The beach chairs and wagon were a life saver, although you can rent chairs and umbrellas in Bethany if you don’t want to lug things around. Liz the owner was very responsive and friendly. It was worth it to get everyone the weekly amenities passes because we used the pool and fitness center every day. Overall really enjoyed the space and had a lovely week there.

NICE LOCATION
We were a family of 11, sharing great bedrooms and a location close to beaches. One day of rain in the house, emphasized the limited common space on the main floor. Outdoor space was very small. Everything was as described and the owner responsive to questions.

This is an absolutely lovely beach house. The house is as described, and looks even better than the great pictures on the website. We where there to celebrate our annual Mothers, Sisters, and Daughters weekend! The house is warm and inviting. Nice lighting in all the rooms, every single bed is comfortable!! The house was extremely clean, and had everything you needed, even those little items that you don't think about. Like matches for a birthday cake, and phone chargers!!! Liz, was wonderful and responded quickly to my questions.. Access to the house and parking was easy. The neighborhood was peaceful we took a 2.5 mile walk around the golf course. Neighbors were very friendly. The beach was about a 7 minute drive. We were even able to instacart our groceries the first morning there. Definitely staying there again.
