Casa de Emdeko 330 was a great rental for our 10 day stay in Kailua-Kona. The condo provided a lot of indoor space, and included a washer/dryer, as well as a fully stocked kitchen and California King bed. The unit was very clean and the outdoor deck space was large and offered a fantastic ocean view. We did not encounter any problems and the rental through Knutson and Associates was seamless. It was also nice to have a code for the door instead of carrying keys with us. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hawaii island. 5*

Aloha!
This space was perfect for our trip this time. Within 45 minutes of our favorite white sand beaches, and very close to Kona, grocery stores and airport!
I would love to see a few more basic amenities like a less confusing tv set up, some cookware and toiletries (was well stocked for the first week, then needed a few more things.). It was also very quiet (aside from the grounds crew on a few days).
Would definitely stay here again and thank you to the management team for being so responsive about our requests!

The property management company kept us well informed from beginning to end of the stay. The property met our expectations of the descriptions of the property. It was clean the furniture was comfortable and the view was as advertised. It was a short fifty yard walk to watch the beautiful sunset,which we did daily. Wonderful stay.

We rented this condo for 3 weeks. We had a couple of issues and Knutson was very prompt in responding. The condo had plenty of kitchen items for the 2 of us. There were also 2 of the camp style chairs to use at the beach. Hopefully the dryer gets repaired as it sounds like you are drying several gym shoes in it. The bedroom has a new kind sized mattress and the bed is comfortable although the fitted sheet didn’t fit well and kept coming off. There were plenty of towels and beach towels. The one negative I would say is the bedroom windows face the outdoor hallways and the blinds do let in a lot of light at night so if you need a dark room, this may be an issue but it seems that many units in the complex are the same.

Thi was our 8th visit stay at Casa De Emdeko in Kona. As always, it was a perfect home base for a Big Island visit. All the amenities were very welcome, and we enjoyed having the beach, cabana, and pool areas available every day. The grounds were so beautiful and well kept as always.We have already booked our unit for another return in 2024 and look forward to to seeing our friends who visit or stay year round again!

The Casa is our favorite place to stay on the island. Close to Kona town. Beautiful views and the salt water pool is lovely. The unit did not meet our expectations. Good things-comfortable space. Kitchen is well stocked. Lots of towels. Lanai was a great place to have dinner or breakfast. Below expectations-When we got their the bed as so old that the owner had put dusty foam pads on top that made sleeping impossible. We had 5 nights of no sleep until the property manager got the owner to replace. No flashlights or candles in the unit and we did lose power(we consider this a safety issue) and the dryer sounds like you are washing soccer balls. No beach chairs (chairs were the tall fold up ones-impractible and uncomfortable for the beach), No beach toys and a really small cooler. So if you are beach people might want to check to see if they have improved that. When we rent from a management company we expect their to be standards and safety measures so we were a bit taken back with what we encountered. The management company did work with the owner to resolve the bed issue which we appreciated but we will never get those 5 days and nights back.
Final verdict-we will return to the Casa but not that unit

This condo is located in a week-maintained complex with lovely views. The common area around the pool has gas grills and lots of seating which becomes a nice gathering area for residents to watch the sunset.
The condo itself has a well stocked kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. The only reason I give this unit 4 stars rather than 5 is the bed. It’s very bad. It’s so soft that the occupants roll to the middle. I saw a few other reviews complaining about the bed and they were spot on. As soon as the owners replace the mattress this unit will be great.

Casa de Emdeko is a nice property with a very friendly vibe to it and Knutson was great to work with. They responded promptly to any questions we had. As for the unit: pros were that it was spacious and clean, has some updates, was pretty well stocked, was very quiet, has A/C, and there is a great community grill and common area. The only cons were that my husband and I found the mattress to be too soft (and I tend to like softer mattresses) and that the sun hits the lanai in the morning through early afternoon so it was rather hot to sit out on until later in the day. Of course, that's not an issue if you're off exploring the island during the day. We didn't use the pools, but the salt water pool location was almost as good as swimming in the ocean.

Very nice condo, updated, clean and great grounds. We only had a few concerns the bed was very soft with a large foam topper and we had to wash the bath towels due to being musty before we could used them. We would rent again when we come back for sure.

cons - have to carry luggage up/down 2 x 4 stairs to get to room from elevator, heavy security door, bed was nice and big but a bit too soft for our liking. but thats it.
pros - everything else. nice and clean, big shower, big tv, gorgeous view, washer and dryer, plenty of linen, chlorine and salt water pool, tv in the bedroom, air con. plenty parking, shop at the front. close enough to everything but far enough that it was nice and quiet. great community there. loved the conch shell being blown at sunset. quiet time from 10pm - 8am. We loved this accommodation and would definitely stay again, and recommend to anyone thinking of staying here.

We loved our 4 day stay in this lovely place. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the lanai, and enjoyed walking down the pretty landscaped pool area to the ocean's edge to enjoy the crashing waves on the rocks.
The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and there are many fun places to visit and dine right nearby.
Two thumbs up for Casa de Emdeko 330.

WOW! What a Great Experience! We just loved our slice of heaven. Hawaii at its best! King size bed, walk-in shower, galley kitchen, living room, and a lanai. Amazing view from the Lanai. Tropical Courtyard, ocean view, fresh water pool, salt water pool, BBQ area. All gated and secure on Alii Drive, minutes from everything exciting yet private and Secure. Sunsets and Morning coffee on the Lanai are definitely Memory's I'll keep forever.

My 2nd trip to the Big Island. This condo and the complex were much better than previous stay. Clean, well maintained, and little things like a small stock of spices like salt, pepper, etc and coffee filters, six pack cooler with reusable ice packs. The drying rack in the shower was lovely for hanging swimsuits to dry. I LOVE the salt water pool which allowed me to swim seaside without the danger of pounding surf. This trip for me was all about scuba diving each morning. In the afternoons I lounged in private beach and swimming area. In the evenings lots of socializing near the beach. Mostly adults rather than a bunch of screaming, noisy kids. I will return to the Big Island and I will try my best to rent Casa De Emdeko 330!

Immaculate housekeeping, kitchen had everything, bathroom well updated, plenty of towels, etc. The one significant drawback for this very nice unit is that while it has a great view and the best, most inviting, and comfortable lanai furniture, it has full sun until afternoon, which means it's not possible to even enjoy breakfast or coffee or read on the lanai. Such an easy fix would be the pull down screens that many units on the sunny side have.

It was our first time staying at Casa de Emdeko. Hands down WHAT AN AMAZING UNIT! Very spacious with Ocean views, very private and gave that relaxed feel, at night you hear the waves crashing on shore. Bedroom was also spacious with a King size bed. Would definitely stay again!

Right on the beach!! Pools are open!!
We enjoyed watching the sunset and listening to the crashing waves right from the property. Close to town but far enough to give the feel of being “away from it all”. Meals on the lanai overlooking the ocean was wonderful!!!
