Downstairs has a large bedroom with 2 full beds & a futon. Futon best of children. 2nd bathroom is in bedroom. Downstairs living area has a day bed, best suitable for a child/teen. Fenced-in backyard and secure windsurf/kite board equipment racks on back patio. Garage has can be used by renters for equipment safekeeping. Quiet location 300 yards down the street from the bayside water where there are benches for sunset viewing. 1-3 blocks of 3 of SPI’s premier windsurf/kite board shops which offer lessons and rent excellent equipment. 2 blocks from Gulf beaches. 2 blocks from Parrot Eyes where can charter bayside fishing trip or rent water sport jet skis/kayaks.. Walking distance to convenience store and great restaurants! Less than 1 mile from SPI Birding & Nature Center. 1 mile to the famous Clayton’s Beach Bar, 5 blocks from Wanna Wanna Beach Bar. Owners live in house next door for great service and island advice. A group of friends and I have stayed here each October for three years in a row now. Great location, lots of room, the house is always clean, and the hosts are friendly and easy to work with. Add in the very fair prices and it’s everything you could ask for in a short term rental.

My daughter and friends absolutely loved their time at the house. They had the whole bottom level to themselves while the adults and the dogs were able to have the space upstairs. There was definitely plenty of room for a group of 10. It was an easy walk to the beach and the bayside was only a few steps away. I would definitely recommend this house.

This was our first time to SPI. Arlene made the process very easy. She greeted us at checkin and covered all the details for the house. She gave us great recommendations on local beaches and restaurants.

Property is comfortable. Decor is a little dated but it’s clean, large enough for a big family with pets. Fenced in yard was a huge plus for our two dogs. Arlene was very nice and attentive and was ready to address any concerns or needs if we had them. Would definitely rent again.

The owners of the property are the BEST!! Communication was always open with the owner during our stay. She is from the area and even though I visit SPI every year she had some really good tips. I love that you have access to the garage. Most places lock them up. It made it very easy to load and unload for a day at the beach. It was almost like having two separate condos in one the way the layout is. The backyard is beautiful and secure for pets. I went back to work and told everyone about it.

We LOVED everything about our pink house! It was very clean and beautiful. Close to everything; the beach, shopping, restaurants. We rented golf carts and drive down to the Ferris wheel to see the fireworks. Great place to stay. You won’t be disappointed!

Clean home with a beautiful backyard! Especially nice since we were able to bring our spaniels on vacation with us. Owner was very friendly and gave us a tour of the property upon check in! Bonus if you love bird watching since their is a birdhouse in the backyard!

This is an outstanding place for all ..but especially for a large family with pets. The property couldn't be more well suited to accommodate most any family or situation. The house was clean and well stocked. Really cant say enough great things about this place. Thank you Arlene for your hospitality.. we will be back!!

If you thought the pictures solidified the place just wait until you get there! This vacation home was nothing short of amazing. A quick walk to the Bay Area, & minutes from everything else. Fully stocked kitchen so you can buy groceries & cook if you’re staying for a couple days. There’s an upstairs & downstairs & each floor has a bathroom which made things very convenient when coming home from the beach so minimal messes were made. I’m definitely booking again for our next padre trip!

Our family really enjoyed staying at this location. There were plenty of spots for everyone to sleep. The kitchen was big enough and well stocked to accommodate our large family. The yard and back patio were great for relaxing after a long day on the beach. The manager answered all the questions we had and was happy to help with anything we needed. She made us feel welcome, which we loved! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

The place was in a great location...in walking distance to the beach..the home itself was spacious and served us well for the time we were there. Really did love the spacious kitchen. Home owner was really informative and helpful. Only negative we found with the home was one of the bedrooms had a really bad fishy smell to it. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay there on the island. Thank you.

The property was incredible. We've done other beach trips and paid the same price for a tiny condo. This place left plenty of room for our kids to have space to run in the backyard but also relax in our separate family groups after the long beach days. Arlene was incredible to communicate with - she gave us a personal tour of the amenities to ensure we were comfortable and gave us so many great recommendations (you weren't wrong about that shrimp at Wanna Wanna!) We will absolutely be back to spend another vacation here before the end of the year! Thank you so much Arlene for making our weekend so perfect!

This property was perfect and just what we needed for us and our kids. The fenced in back yard is great, and gives the perfect amount of privacy and security for the kids. The pictures of the place, don’t do it justice. It is very clean and very spacious.The property manager is amazing, she is easy to communicate with and greets you at the property, when you arrive, gives you a tour and has multiple recommendations of places to visit and things to do. We went memorial weekend, so the town was a bit busy, but a great, clean, comfortable environment.

Arlene was very kind and welcoming and very attentive to any concerns we had. We were given a tour before settling in so that we were made aware of all the amenities the condo came with which was very kind of Arlene to do. This condo was the perfect place to have a small party, and a nice getaway at South Padre. I have no complaints whatsoever about our stay. 10/10!!
