About this cottage rental
Located in Topsail Beach, this lovely cottage for $338 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. TOPSAIL TIME is sure to become a favorite get away!! With a PRIME sound front location only blocks away from the quaint village of downtown Topsail Beach on the desirable south end of Topsail Island, you're within an easy stroll of shops and restaurants but away from the hustle & bustle of seasonal traffic. Cottage is nestled in around a well manicured, beautifully landscape lawn. TOPSAIL TIME is tops in location, views and charm!! TOPSAIL TIME is truly a secret treasure! Even though beach access is within a couple of blocks, you'll find yourself feeling settled and right at home on the porch swing or rocking chair, perfect for reading, relaxing and sunsets; or on a lounge chair on the dock, perfect for sunning; or sitting in a beach chair just unwinding, all the perfect place to gather friends for a peaceful afternoon socializing while watching boats or dolphins! The dock also provides access for a boat, a cleaning table to clean the day's catch and a large round picnic table to enjoy a meal or evening cocktails. The covered porch setting is hard to beat and offers front row seating to spectacular sunset water views! Although the cottage is located on the sound of Banks Channel it also provides wonderful marsh views that separate us from the easily accessible Intercostal Waterway. The cottage itself is full of charm and character! There are new hardwood floors in all the living areas and kitchen and dining areas. A knotty pine ceiling invokes that cozy, warm cottage feel while the colorful, comfortable decor provides a welcoming atmosphere to put your feet up and relax! A glass front of wall to wall windows overlooks the waters of Banks Channel that even on a rare rainy day will lift your spirits! Because of this spectacular view the inside still has the feel of the outside! All of the living area is located on one floor, with a storage room and washer/dryer under the cottage. All of the main living areas have hardwood floors, with new carpet in the bedrooms. The master bath has a new queen size bed with it's own bathroom with shower. Their are two other bedrooms, one with a new queen bed and the other with sturdy twin bunk beds. The hall full bathroom has a tub with shower. There is also a new green foldout sofa (queen) in the back living area. The front living area has two comfy couches and two club chairs with ottomans so lots of seating is available! The dining room table sits 6 and there is a kitchen bar with 4 barstools. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking items. There is a washer / dryer located in a storage room under the house. An outside shower with hot and cold water provide a perfect addition to your 'I'm at the beach!' experience! TOPSAIL TIME is a well behaved pet friendly rental... out of necessity there is a PET FEE of $150 per week for one pet and $235 for two pets. Please ask first if you have any questions about this! Also if your plans change at the last minute and you decide to bring a pet just let us know, or if you decide not to after you've paid the pet fee, again let us know and we will adjust your account accordingly! *** We ask that pets NOT be on the furniture or beds unless you've brought a large blanket to totally cover any area they will lay on. This is asked out of respect for our home AND respect for your fellow cottage guests. *** Wet dogs can stay on the enclosed porch to dry, not in the cottage. *** We ask that you take your pets over to the large pinestraw-ed area to relief themselves, NOT ON THE GRASS. The urine kills the grass and takes weeks to recover. As you'll see we spend a lot of time and money on our landscaping and ask for your respect concerning that. TOPSAIL TIME is tucked down a gravel path away from the busyness of life and provides a wonderful, welcoming get away! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Owners are often next door and are happy to answer any questions you may have and respond quickly to any unforeseen issues! *** We start accepting NEW bookings in JANUARY of each year to give folks time to firm up their vacation schedules. Approved repeaters can request dates at any time. Book early... you don't want to miss out on some TOPSAIL TIME!!

This place is absolutely amazing. It’s quaint and gives the laidback local feel. We have stayed many places in topsail, but this one takes the cake. The view is outstanding. The dock is perfect for fishing and docking a boat. We have a 225 Seahunt and had zero issues docking here. The house sits on the ICWW in a no wake zone so you don’t have to worry about waves causing your boat to rock into the dock. It’s also great because you can take your floats and lounge around in the water without being tossed around. I cant say enough great things about this place. I am always weary when reading reviews because everyone has their own opinion, but I can assure you that this is the perfect place to rent. Edna is a doll as well. She is incredibly responsive and looks out for you during your stay. She’s available all the time and gives great recommendations. By far the best host we have encountered. We can’t wait to stay here again. This will be our go to from now on. Thank you Edna for sharing this wonderful piece of paradise and being so great!

This is the perfect get-away. This is the best location on the entire island. It is truly a gem. We loved being able to fish off the pier and take the kayaks out to the sandbar in the sound (a dream come true for me), and to swim in the sound just steps from the cottage. The cottage is on a quiet street but within walking distance to the Gift Basket, Beach Shop and Grill, Putt Putt, Jolly Roger, etc. Edna is wonderful to work with - super nice and accommodating. Sweet, sweet time there!!! Very thankful!!!

I booked the property because my son was getting married and it was in close proximity to the venue. It was also dog friendly. It’s such a beautiful beach cottage. The host was friendly, accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. My only regret was if I wasn’t so busy with the wedding I could have enjoyed staying at the property more. But while I was there amazing deck views. We even saw dolphins. Totally recommend!

Topsail Time cottage is perfect in every way. I have left there feeling refreshed and looking very much forward to my next stay. The house is wonderful and everything you need is there. The views are amazing and morning coffee of the porch with dolphins, birds, and boat watching were so beautiful. Edna is so easy to reach should you have a need. Highly recommend her place!

We enjoyed this cute gem of a house for Memorial Day. Being a short walk to the beach but on the intercoastal side, it was the best of both worlds. We enjoyed the kayaks and swings and the kids liked playing football on the lawn.

We enjoyed local seafood. We also surf fished at North Topsail. Edna was extremely welcoming and accommodating. This is our third stay here. We will come again.

We've been coming to Topsail for years and this spot really checks all the boxes for us. We've grown to prefer the ICW side of the island over the ocean side, and this home had exactly what we were looking for. The wraparound deck is perfect for lounging with the pups and we loved how quiet it was, so many of the homes on the island are located on the main road, and you really feel removed from all of that while still walking distance from the beach, Beach Shop & Grill and the bookstore.

From the moment we pulled up and saw the back yard on the water, with the dock and kayaks, we knew we were going to have a great time.
As soon as we checked in, we went down and caught about 20 good size spot fish and swam. The next day we took kayaks into the channel and caught several good sized Blue fish for dinner.
We stay on TI several times a year and always get a different place to experience new things. I am already figuring out when we can go back to Edna’s place. It was the perfect relaxing and refreshing oasis for our weekend.

We had an excellent time and would definitely rent again. Edna was great to work with and the house and community are really great. You can walk to shops and dinner and Edna made sure to let us know of local events. We felt like a part of the neighborhood for the weekend. The sunsets are amazing.

We enjoyed a very nice Thanksgiving Day. The other few days at the beach we’re great. Our little dog Madison was able to run unleashed and had a ball. Location, location, location. The beach cottage decor is fun, whimsical and very cozy. The perfect winter or summer get-a-way. Thank you!

Absolutely loved it! The house and location is everything as advertised. We stayed for a week and made a ton of memories. Caught (and ate) crab and fish off the back dock, kayaked in the sound and spent hours at the beach which is only a short walk away. There’s even parking near the beach entrance in case you don’t want to walk or have too much to carry. I wish we had spent more time visiting the local shops, but we had so much fun during the day, it was too easy to lay down, put on a movie and watch the sunset. My only suggestion would be to add some additional lighting inside near the kitchen and maybe on the back deck/pier for night fishing. We’ve been home for a week now, and we are still talking about our trip and all the fun we had. We will be back for sure!! The house also comes with some pretty cool neighbors. Thanks for the memories!!

This was our second year at Topsail Time and it was just as amazing as the first! The cottage is absolutely amazing. Clean, well stocked and has the most amazing water view. We took our 2 labs and they had a blast playing on the sand bar that popped up every morning, just a few hundred yards from the dock! It’s a short walk to the beach, and there are a handful of restaurants near by! We also love seeing Edna and Bailee every year! 10/10! You will not regret booking this cottage!!

This was our second visit to this adorable condo. Edna is so easy to work with. Super relaxing sitting on the deck swing facing the canal. Our two Golden Retrievers had a great time swimming off the dock - and Edna has everything so handy to manage the pups. Can't wait to come back.

This property is exactly as promised. Cute, cozy, and clean inside and out! The view from the living area is spectacular. The dock was perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun in mid-May. The host, Edna, was friendly and ready to assist if needed. We were surprised to find no dishwasher, but that was our oversight in reviewing the listing. A dishwasher is not listed. Would be an added bonus, but we managed fine without. Weloved it so much, we hope to return next year.
