Nestled in Seguin, this lovely cottage for $163 per night is a great choice for your next trip. We are open for 2024 bookings. Welcome to beautiful Otter Lake, this well cared for and clean family guest cabin on the water could be yours for this coming spring, summer or fall. One week is the minimum stay. The rate is $250 per night or $1575.00 weekly. Plus HST and VRBO also takes a fee because that is where you found us. If you want to be isolated from the madness of the world especially at these uncertain times this is truly the place. We only rent to select couples and singles only, over the age of 30, non-smokers, and sorry no pets allowed. You can not get any closer to the water than this! Come visit serene Otter Lake and rent the living quarters of this cozy boat-house with open balcony and barbecue. Open concept, nice natural pine interior, one queen size bed and one fold out couch. Clean bright with South West exposure, sun all day long, and beautiful sunsets. New stove, upright shower, parking right at your door step, free boat launch next door and no charge boat mooring included. Great swimming and fishing and a very beautiful and quiet lake. There is a Paddle boat and two small kayaks with paddles and life jackets included in the rental. Act fast for this ultimate cottage boat-house experience on the water for 2024. There is high speed wifi satellite TV and air conditioning and a barbecue on the balcony. Please be aware that we only rent to select responsible adults 30 years or older, couples or singles only. You are required to bring bed sheets and pillow cases and bath towels. But there are tea towels and wash cloths and everything else you could possibly need. Weekly rentals will take a priority in booking. Marina nearby with watercraft, ski and tubing rentals and a convenience store. Only 10 km from the town Parry Sound and all amenities and where you can ride the Island Queen and tour the waters of Georgian Bay or even rent a float plane. Bedding/Linens: There are comforters and blankets and everything else you could need. You are required to bring your own bed sheets and towels. Wifi: Wifi is high speed and available free. Drinking Water: The water comes directly from the lake and is purified by an inbuilt system. But you may wish to bring your own drinking water. You are required to bring your own bed sheets, and bath towels. There are wash cloths and tea towels. The town of Parry Sound is a twenty minute drive away and has all the modern conveniences and necessities a city can offer.

Tranquil area boathouse on a beautiful lake. Peaceful and completely relaxing with water activities on your doorstep-kayaking, swimming, paddleboat, fishing. Time to re-connect with your partner and nature. We loved it!

2 nights away from the city in the boathouse was exactly what I was looking for. Owen was clear and concise and the space has spectacular views. The bed was comfy and I really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony soaking up the sun. On arrival we saw a deer which felt really special. The weather wasn’t the greatest so we didn’t get to use the kayaks but that would be the best way to see the lake. Get out on the water and see the beauty; it is a quiet lake. Thanks again Owen. We loved it!

This boat house was super cute and in a great location. Check in was easy and place had everything you need.. High winds made power go out but the property owner was right there to provide generator back up until it came back on. Parry Sound was 10 min away with great places to eat. I would definitely recommend staying here.

What a special place. Owens boathouse is a little gem and we were so pleased with the space. The boathouse is larger than I expected and has everything you could want/need. The views and the lake are incredible. The lake is beautiful to swim in. We arrived Sunday-mid week and it was quiet and peaceful. The boathouse is thoughtfully laid out and has everything you could need to cook & relax comfortably. Owen is a great host, he was very responsive and caring. Thank you, Owen!

We found the boathouse on Otter Lake to be quiet, just big enough and a lovely place to stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

A wonderful stay! Very peaceful — a great little boathouse for a weekend away. Owen was really helpful, getting the paddle boat out for us to use and very responsive. Would recommend this place!

We had an amazing time at Owen's cottage. The views from the cottage are absolutley beautiful. We brought up our boat. It was great to be able to dock the boat right at the cottage. The fishing was pretty good. The only thing we missed was a fire pit. We will most definitely be returning. Thanks Owen for a great stay!

This was exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful and relaxing stay on the lake. The property owners were extremely responsive and helpful. The kayaks and paddle boats were definitely an asset. The lake is relatively calm and we were able to enjoy great weather during our stay. Home had everything you need including full kitchen. Would highly recommend this property and would love to revisit one day.

After turning off the highway and traveling for what seems to be forever down a dirt road, the scenery opens up to what can only be described as a cottage heaven. Situated right beside the boat launch into Otter Lake is this lovely two story building. Walking up the stairs to the space reveals a quaint, old style charm that can often be lost on newer styled cottages. It has plenty of space for two people to spend a relaxing weekend or more on the water. The owner provides you with kayaks and a paddle-boat to explore the lake, and the cottage itself is stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The view was beautiful both during the quiet days and the star-flecked nights and the neighbours are far enough away that you will not be disturbed. The cottage is only a short drive into Parry Sound. All in All I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone who wants to get away and relax!
