Situated in Purgatory, this charming house for $347 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. **Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking *** Our 4 bedroom/4bath ski-in/ski-out condo (Edelweiss 17) has a brand new interior; solid core doors, all new woodwork, beautifully refinished hickory floors, new paint, carpet, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, plumbing fixtures and stainless appliances. All bathrooms have custom tile, state of the art glass shower doors and in-floor heat! The furniture is brand new as of winter 2017! New beds, bedding, linens, and kitchenware! Cozy up to the living room fireplace with custom stacked stone and spacious hearth. Large ski closets with custom wood doors and hand forged hardware keep all the resort toys tucked away. Bed Configuration: Master bedroom (King) is on the main level Two bedrooms suites (King and Queen) upstairs Trundle bed room (4 twins) with bath on lower level. The kids room also features a TV and XBox. The lower level also has a large laundry room with full size washer/dryer and we also have a pack/play crib as well. Enjoy the Needles views, Purgatory’s signature mountain range of 14,000 foot peaks, from the living room, dining room or the private deck. Resort parking is a premium and this condo has a 2 car carport and additional parking for 2 more cars tandem. Just steps from the slopes, Edelweiss is one of the most desired locations on the mountain. Simply walk out the back door and walk 50 yards to the catwalk that takes you to the main 6 Pack Lift. This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. This property has excellent sleeping 😴 quarters that sleeps 10 but the living room and kitchen was way too small for the amount of people that had to stay here. Very disappointed with living area….table way too small to accommodate the guest

We had a great time here and enjoyed the proximity to the chair lift. We arrived pretty late our first night and the check in instructions didn't include our unit number which prolonged us getting situated, otherwise fine.
I'm sure we will be back, we loved the area!
Pro tip: Purgatory is 40 minutes from a grocery store be sure to load up in Durango before heading out. You likely won't want to make that trip too many times. There is a small market right here near the resort for anything you may have forgotten.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was good and a quick step across to the slopes for immediate ski access. The only thing we would have really expected was the walk across to the slopes to be cleared for those who have to walk to them. They snow was plied up and not cleared for our area and had to walk down to the end of the complex to access the slopes.

First off, the management company was very responsive and the guy that came out was great. The location was great- we have stayed at this same complex (not specific condo) before. The condo is nice, but lacking some attention to detail. The living room lighting is non-existent, the pots and pans were horrible (we asked for new ones and the management brought new ones), the kitchen has very little supplies (no spices, salt or pepper, few cups, few utensils, not great cooking utensils, and the dishwasher isn’t great), the table only seats 6 and the condo advertises sleeps 10, one of the bathrooms upstairs smelled moldy and shower wasn’t great, and the WiFi was terrible (pretty much never worked). We love the location of the condo, but not sure we would stay in this specific one again.

This townhouse was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the unit location was great. Loved that we had our own driveway and parking spots. The management company was great and responded quickly to our needs. Purgatory mountain has family friendly activities and unit is within a 2 min walk. Not very many grocery stores nor restaurants close by, so will need to drive into Durango for those. Old Schoolhouse Cafe has great pizza! Would definitely stay here again. I do recommend to other visitors as well.

Great location, unit is getting "tired". Dishwasher barely worked, 2nd floor toilet not secured to floor, doors don't stay shut, some lights burnt out and bulbs not replaced, poor lighting in general, etc.

Nice stay
The place is in a great location on the mountain. It didn’t seem like some spaces were cleaned but the management had someone come out quickly to clean. We really appreciated that. It definitely has some wear and tear but it was nice every room had a bathroom.

Our family really enjoyed are stay at this condominium it is very spacious and accommodating for a larger group. We found plenty to do at purgatory resort and in town at Durango. We will definitely come back to stay here again.

Good snow, bad mountain operation
We wanted to save a little money and decided to not go to Telluride. Big mistake. The home we stayed at was nice and the location was convenient. However, the staff at this mountain just plain sucked. Employees of the ski resort were rude and seemed to hate their job. Every experience we had with resort staff was unacceptable, rude people when we picked up our ski passes, rude people when we picked up our rental gear, when I needed something at the skiers edge pro shop I was told that they could not help me since I was a snowboarder, wtf!! I went to the snowboard shop and they did help me but had to get what I needed from the skiers edge shop, lame. I put my son in lessons for 1 day to help him improve his skills, instead he was put into a large beginner's class and spent the entire day on the bunny hill, he is not a beginner and felt trapped. What a waste of money, a day and a chance for his skills to improve.
Overall, I will never return to this mountain even if I had a free place to stay at. This is not a bad review of the home as it was very acceptable, just a very lame mountain experience.
