About this house rental
Situated in Pierpont Bay, this attractive house for $370 per night is a great option for your next break. Delightful Nantucket style beach house, close to beach with ocean view of beautiful Pierpont Beach. Sand dunes, and beach walkers paradise. Classic two story beach house with kitchen, living room and balcony on the second floor - with views all around. You will love the large private back yard and garden! House is light and bright. Great location on a quiet lane by Ventura's beautiful Pierpont beach. Two bedrooms and a bath upstairs (KING SIZE BED and two twins) with vaulted ceilings, large balcony and wood floors. There is a spacious family room/third bedroom suite downstairs (QUEEN SIZE BED & queen sleeper sofa) with walk-in closet and second bathroom with shower. Old fashioned charm updated with amenities including WiFi, internet, cable TV. On arrival you will find fresh linens with beds made. The open plan kitchen with gas stove is fun to cook in while staying part of the conversation in the living room, or just enjoy the views. Sunbathe and take in the sunset on the balcony. Kids, or adults, have their own space downstairs in the family room, where they can watch TV or play games. There is a LARGE BACK YARD with a lawn, picnic table, couch swing, BBQ and a fire pit for a bonfire. There is a beach shower in the yard with hot water to enjoy when you come back from swimming or surfing at the beach. Restaurants and shopping center are a five minute walk to Seaward Avenue. If you are looking for the town scene, Main Street is 5 minutes away and offers everything from shopping, restaurants, theaters, music and beer and wine tasting, spas and coffee houses. Our home is best suited for vacations, business travelers, couples and small families. Some people say this special neighborhood, known as Pierpont beach, is like going back in time. It definitely has a lot of old time charm, it's quiet, and it can't be beat for a walkable and bikeable neighborhood, with many attractions nearby. Our past three Christmases have been at this Pierpont home and we have really enjoyed them. It has been only two couples so there was more than enough room and an extra bedroom. We enjoy being able to see the ocean from our second floor deck and peeks of it from upstairs.
There are Christmas lights strung along the outside deck that we can enjoy from the livingroom and fresh flowers in vases, a lovely touch. The large kitchen windows have huge honeysuckle blooming and lots of room in the backward which is fenced as is the small front yard. Plenty of dishes and kitchenware and basic condiments. Parking for two in the driveway and a possible third car out front. Very steep stairs go to the upstairs from the door to the downstairs full bedroom, bath and tv, couch and chairs. Short walk to the beach and very quiet neighbors. This home has everything you need but the steep stairway wouldnt be good for young children altho there is a gate that can be set up at the top of the stairs.

It was wonderful. I had my dog and this house is about a mile away from Marina Beach. It is a dog beach. Wonderful people and fun dogs.

We had such a great time at this place. The house was clean, and the neighborhood quiet. We slept well - all the beds were comfortable, and there were multiple spots for our family to hang out and congregate without feeling like we were on top of each other. Another reviewer expressed concern about the steepness of the stairs for his elderly father, but our 85-year-old father did fine with them - there's a railing. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We hope to be back here.

The house was very expensive for what you got.
We told the owner that we were bringing my 94 year old father.The stairs to get up to the kitchen were impossible even for me. I am in pretty good shape. They were like a ladder. I think she should of mentioned that to us.
The toilet down stairs kept stopping up.
The kitchen was not adequate had 2 sauce pans and the knives you could use at all. Wouldn’t cut anything.
I thought it was dirty.
I have rented a lot from VERBO but never paid this much. Definitely was not worth the money. We left 2 week’s early to go home. That’s how uncomfortable we were.

Great stay in Pierpont, beautiful beach and quiet neighborhood. 2 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to Von's and some great restaurants in Pierpont and 7 minute drive to downtown Ventura. Beds are comfortable and kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. We'll be back!

My small family stayed in this charming beach house for a very special weekend where we celebrated and honored the memory of a my daughter. This was the perfect home away from home and the location was perfect to make fun, lasting memories, decompress and just enjoy the moment.
The beautiful beach is right there just a few houses down the street. Super convenient to the pier & downtown as well.

We had a great time at this Cozy n Comfortable house. We loved the fact you could see the ocean from the front balcony and sitting at the kitchen table. Hearing it as well was a nice surprise. The yard was great for our dog, and we loved the swing. Yes the downstairs bed is part of family room but it also has a huge bathroom and closet plus opens to the backyard. Upstairs rooms comfortable. Super bright upstairs with lots of windows. Beach less than a block away and the sunsets were amazing. We could walk to several good restaurants, and a frozen yogurt place. Grocery store really close as well. Neighborhood was quaint and quiet. Kitchen small but super well stocked. We will definitely come back. Jane was a super host and communicated well.

The home is very comfortable and enjoys a cool sea breeze. The downstairs flows into a very well-maintained backyard that is an enjoyable place to relax and reflect. The neighborhood is quiet. A balcony is the perfect spot for cheese and wine. The walk to the sand is about one-minute; just enough time to shed the sand from your feet. Ready to relax? This is the spot!

Was concerned about older reviews mentioning cleaning issues but were very pleased. It was VERY CLEAN! Christmas lights we on and house was warm when we arrived. Beautiful fresh flower boquets. Lots of spices and kitchen appliances. Yards were clean and very cute. We were 100percent happy🌺

The beach is right there and fantastic, walk a mile or so to the pier. Lovely sunsets from the balcony, great restaurants within easy walking distance. Unique place with lots of hummingbird viewing opportunities
