Excellent location, very easy walk along the train tracks into town (less than 10 min). Clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but that wasn’t what we were looking for at this price point. Breakfast tasted great! And the view was unbeatable from both the room and the breakfast area.
A few minor maintenance things needed attention: the toilet seat was loose and the sink faucet was also loose.

I have been traveling around Sri Lanka and have stayed in several 5-star hotels in Colombo, but the level of service and genuine hospitality I experienced here was truly exceptional.
For me, the two most important things when choosing accommodation are cleanliness and good blackout curtains, as I can’t sleep if daylight comes into the room. This place exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, the towels were always fresh, and the blackout curtains made it easy to get a great night’s sleep.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. We were greeted with fresh juice, tea, and coffee, and the owners made us feel at home straight away. They are incredibly kind, caring, and always happy to help. Throughout our stay, they regularly checked if everything was okay and if we needed anything, which made us feel truly looked after.
Breakfast was another highlight. You simply let them know what time you would like to eat, and everything is prepared fresh for you.
They also showed us a convenient shortcut to the town, making it only a 7–10 minute walk, which was very helpful.
You can really feel that the owners put their heart into this place and genuinely care about every guest. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. We had a fantastic stay and sincerely wish you many kind and respectful guests in the future. We would be happy to stay here again!
