Located in Corolla, this lovely house for $313 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Do you dream of sipping a glass of wine while watching sunset kiss the water on the horizon? Or is an exhilarating ride along the beach in your 4x4 vehicle more to your taste? Whatever your ideal vacation, you can make it a reality with our home as your base in Corolla! Our family first fell in love with the Outer Banks area back in 1972, when the area was only a string of small fishing villages. We have been bringing our family here for over thirty years! This area offers a wonderful family environment especially on the North Beaches where there is less traffic and fewer commercial establishments. Our children remember times in our Corolla home as some of the most treasured experiences with family and friends. As adults, the memories continue to build. We aim to provide our guests with all they need to fall in love with Corolla and all the area has to offer. Our home is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood with paved streets, one block off of the sound and a short walk to beach access; three shopping centers; grocery stores; a movie theater; restaurants; nature preserves and trails; 4x4 beach access; wildlife museum and weekly wine tastings and crafter at the Whalehead Club; and more! The oceanfront (with free parking) is 5 easy, walkable, blocks away. If you have a 4x4 vehicle, the Carova beach–known for its unpaved, sand road and resident wild Spanish horses–is less than 10 minutes away. If you prefer to stay closer to home, Monteray Shores offers a multitude of amenities, all within a very short, easy walk of the house. Here you’ll find two piers; a small boat ramp; a playground for the kids; basketball, tennis and pickleball courts; swimming pools; a fitness center; and miles of walking/biking trails. A paved bike trail running adjacent to Route 12 has been recently added and eventually will connect the most northern points of Corolla to the small southern town of Duck. You'll find so many activities, conveniences, an adventure ropes park, fishing, crabbing, putt-putt courses, go-karts, putt putt, a lighthouse, and more just to name a few–a short distance away. This well-appointed home includes all you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with all essentials for preparing enjoyable meals: refrigerator, freezer, 4-burner electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, ample place settings, toaster, 12 cup coffee maker, single cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, mixer, blender, crock pot and more. Our tenants can soak up the sun on three decks and enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, a hammock, 2 children’s swings, sand toys, bikes, a charcoal grill, corn hole, and more. We hope you have nothing but sunshine and clear skies during your stay, but should you have a rainy day, we have you covered! Curl up with a book (children’s or adult’s) from our library, watch a movie on the large smart TV (DVD player included), or play one of our family games or puzzles. Our home has all even the littlest guests need to be comfortable; we provide a highchair, pack n’ play, and baby gate. We provide all you need for a great stay: Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, sand toys, beach chairs, bikes in assorted sizes, bed linens, full-sized washer and dryer, family games and puzzles, and books. There’s no additional fee to use any of our community amenities, bed linens, or house cleaning. It's all included in the rental fee! The use of the property is restricted to use by You and Your family, unless it is agreed upon, in writing, to occupancy by a non-family group. A “family” means parents, grandparents, children, and extended family members vacationing at the property. For example, use of the property by fraternities, sororities, groups under the age of 25, or unrelated groups is prohibited.

This house was lovely and exactly as pictured and described. Easy walk to the pool, and the nearby beach is beautiful - soft sand, pretty surf, and long enough for long walks on the beach. Everything felt easy and so relaxing. A wonderful vacation for our family.

The grandchildren loved crabbing with the equipment supplied and some chicken gizzards. The clubhouse with pool, playground, basketball and pickleball courts is a 5 minute walk, with available parking. The beach is a pleasant 15 minutes walk, with parking available a block away.
There were problems with the kitchen appliances.

If cleanliness is a priority then this is the house for you! No joke. This house is very welcoming, comfortable, stocked with everything you need and in a lovely community. And the furniture is very comfortable. The house was great for everyone from my teenage granddaughter to my 93 year old mother. The stairs were a slight challenge since mom broke her knee earlier this year but that didn’t stop her.
I have not ridden a bike in about 30 years but decided to give it a try since there were several in the garage. Enjoyed a bike ride around the community every morning it wasn’t raining. So much fun.
This house is conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants and other activities. When Corolla is our vacation destination we will choose this house every time.

Well kept and maintained property. HOA amenities are very nice. I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues as there are multiple living levels in the house and no bathroom on main floor. Beach access locations required multiple levels of steps and the one handicap access was out of service. These limitations would not be problematic for most. The area is very nice and sunsets are outstanding.

Just like the pictures. No disappointments. Having the bikes, chairs, and other items available for the guest was just great. I felt this was very generous. I have stayed at many places and this was the first time I have seen such generosity.

Great Beach House
The house was updated, spacious, we had 8 adults staying the week. The Kitchen had most everything one would need for cooking large meals. The top deck was nice to have coffee in the morning in the shade. Proximity to shopping, etc. was extremely convenient.

First time in Outer Banks and the house was one of the highlights. Beautiful large house with everything needed for a great stay. Owner was very easy to work with and provided great information before the stay to let us know what to expect. We loved this house! We would definitely think about returning here! It was a perfect location and very close to the beach. The house had enough space for everyone and was not crowded. Plenty of things to do around the area. I really liked staying here and all my family agreed.

Beautiful home in great location
The home was situated in a perfect location with just a 90 second drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 10 minute walk to a beautiful Corolla beach and within a mile of grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. The home itself was beautiful and exceeded expectations. It had everything we could have needed and then some, including a large kitchen with plenty of utensils, countless beach chairs, bikes for the whole family, an outdoor shower, crabbing gear (we caught plenty of crab off the pier!), multiple outdoor decks with plenty of seating, spacious living area, I could go on. Further, Kay was an amazing host and so easy to work and communicate with. Both Kay and the home provided an amazing stay and stress-free vacation for our family. I highly recommend staying here for your OBX getaway!

Even better then promised
The location was fantastic! A six minute bike ride to the beach, and two minutes to the sound. House was even nicer then pictures on line. Kay was so easy to deal with and helped us out immensely with finding rentals for kayaks during COVId! I can’t say enough about how great our time in the OBX was!

Fun at the beach
Kay was wonderful to work with as she was helpful in all the questions we had. It was great having access to bikes, beach chairs and sand toys as we had several children between 5 and 8 and thus no need to pack these items. Grandpa was even able to go crabbing with the traps there. We usually drove to the beach and then one person would drive back with all the stuff and everyone else would walk to help eliminate all the sand in the vehicles.
The living area was a great size for our large group and the deck made a wonderful place to eat our meals. The kitchen was also well stocked with items for a large group. It was a great place for us, our grown children and grandchildren to relax for a week and be able to still social distance during this pandemic.

Great Family House
We had a great time at this house! It’s good for both adults and kids. We enjoyed the bikes and the beach chairs and toys. It was nice not to bring all that stuff with us. The pool and neighborhood is really nice too. We had kids from 8 yrs to 17 yrs and they all had a great time and enough room to spread out and not be cramped. This may be my favorite rental house yet!

Great vacation place
We took our family to OBX for the first time ever and we all had a great time. The grandkids enjoyed all the beach toys and the parents enjoyed the beach chairs. House was wonderful and had everything that we could ask for. Great location, close to the beach and all the stores. We’ll be back again.
