Turtle Nest! New Holiday House w\/ Pool, Wifi, and Access to the Beach
About this house rental
Situated in Holmes Beach, this attractive house for $475 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This comfortable and tastefully furnished vacation home was built in 2012 and offers everything you need for a relaxed vacation with your family or friends. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, as well as en suite bathroom with barrier-free shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. All bedrooms are equipped with a large HD flat screen TV, iPod/ iPhone charging stations, ceiling fan and fitted cupboards. The third bedroom has a DVD player and a second bathroom is located in the hallway between the two other bedrooms. Another large HD flat screen TV and a DVD player are in the generously proportioned living room. The open kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher and side-by-side fridge etc. The dining, living and kitchen area offer enough space to comfortably host six people. There is also a high-quality washing machine and dryer available to you. Extensive and new maps of Florida as well as divers city maps for example of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Sarasota are in the house for you. Also there is a folder with information of Anna Maria Island with helpful insider tips for activities, restaurant etc. on the Island. This home is fully air-conditioned and barrier-free. Also in the quiet and very private outdoor area you will feel very comfortable. The private heated pool with its 33 ft length offers a bar and table which is often covered in shade. On hot days with the special available pool dishes it is not only for children a special experience to have a snack there, but also for adults. The pool area offers an outdoor shower, sun loungers and a pool box with a lot of pool equipment (i. e. pool noodles). You can prepare culinary highlights on the 4 burner gas grill and enjoy afterwards on your secluded pool patio, while your children can splash in the pool. The beach is nearby: In approx. 300 m at the end of the quiet street is the direct beach access. The access to the beach is private and for local residents only, therefore you have a lot of space on the beach at every time of day. Beach chairs, a sunshade as well as beach towels are available. Also a beach buggy, to carry everything.

The house was pretty and clean like the pictures. Check in process was simple. The walk to the beach is a little haul, we would have someone drop us off at the entrance. We had two 10 year old girls and they were just playing in the pool, we had a lady behind the fence come over and ring the doorbell. She said the girls were being too loud! She had already called the rental company and everything. I explained to her they were two 10 year olds having fun in the pool, it had been crappy weather and we had drove 14 hours to get there. They were excited for a sunny day. I thought that was really rude. I made the girls be quieter, but this is a vacation rental, they should be able to have all the fun they want on fall break. It’s not like they are loud teens or anything. So for that reason, we will not be back!

The property was just like the pictures and as described. Very close to the beach and the backyard and pool are a little oasis and perfect for our young son.

We had a wonderful week on Anna Maria Island. The home was perfect for our family of 6, and conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool was great to have and we ended most of our days there. The beds were comfortable. My few suggestions for improvement would be an upgrade to the living room furniture, it was not very comfortable, and a bit overcrowded. I would also suggest a larger kitchen waste can and 2nd one for recyclables. There were also no grilling utensils which made it hard to use the grill. That being said, these are minor suggestions- because our stay was absolutely terrific!

We had a wonderful week on Anna Maria Island. The house was perfect for a family of four. The living room area is pretty small but we didn't spend much time in there. Our one suggestion would be a larger waste basket in the kitchen. There was only a small one and no place to but the recycles. The pool was wonderful! We really enjoyed it. The beach equipment was great to have and we took advantage of it. Overall we had a wonderful vacation.

Not much more to say that has not already been shown on your reviews. It was a great spot as advertised terrific for our five and nine year old granddaughters. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Turtles Nest the week of 4/1-4/8. The home was perfect for our family of 5, and conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool was such a perk, and our favorite place to finish out most of our afternoons. The beach chairs, umbrellas, and cart were great, and the home supplied pretty much everything we needed. The beds were comfortable too! We had an issue with the air conditioner, and someone was there within an hour to fix it. My only suggestion for improvement would be an upgrade to the living room furniture - it was not very comfortable, and a bit overcrowded (luckily, we rarely spent time inside!) Also, more wastebaskets throughout the house (there wasn't one at all in the main bathroom), and a larger one in the kitchen is needed. That being said, these are minor suggestions- because our stay (and the weather) was absolutely terrific!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Turtle's Nest. The property was very clean and in a great location to explore the area. The heated pool was a big hit with our grandchildren and we enjoyed using it every day of our stay. The unit was well supplied with beach towels, beach chairs, and toys for the beach and pool. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Great beach house with everything you need!
This place has everything you need for your stay. Lots of room, I would say probably wouldn’t hurt to have a bigger couch or add an additional lounge chair if you have more then four people staying. Loved having plenty of beach chairs and beach cart to take everything to the beach. In all I have stayed in Holmes Beach now three times and wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again. We had no real complaints.

This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island, and we are already talking about going back! Turtle Nest was lovely. The beds were very comfortable, the home was clean, and the neighborhood was very quiet. The short walk to the beach was perfect for our three children (ages 11, 15, 17).

The property was the perfect size for our two week stay. We worked and my daughter did school remotely. Only a 5 min walk to the beach and the pool was lovely. The location is perfectly located with easy access to anything on the island.
