This apartment is a one-of-a-kind peaceful gem right in the middle of one of the best and liveliest neighborhoods in New York City. We were a group of three grad students that were lucky enough to call this place home for twelve weeks during our summer internship. The Hosts: Kati and Barry were wonderful hosts. They were willing to schedule a time to meet with my mom for a viewing since the three of us live out of state. Furthermore, even though they were travelling internationally during our stay, they were always responsive within a few hours when we had any questions. The apartment: The apartment is Kati and Barry’s home during the year and has a great ‘homey’ feel to it. It has beautiful plants and an abundance of light which really brings the apartment to life. It is also fully stocked with anything you could want (books, a piano, cooking and cleaning supplies, and even a washer/dryer which is incredibly rare in NY). The apartment has a balcony which overlooks a park and is great to sit on and watch the sunset. Also, the building has a doorman which is great for safety, but also for simple convenience when you need packages or dry cleaning delivered/picked up. Finally, the housekeeper, Flor, came once a week during our stay. She is very friendly, knows the apartment well and was there to answer any questions. The neighborhood: There are literally hundreds of restaurants, clothing stores, and bars/lounges in the area. There isn’t an age group that wouldn’t like this neighborhood when visiting NYC. The apartment is also within a five-minute walk to multiple subway stops which makes it really easy to get to any other neighborhood in NYC. However, it is also located on a side street so as soon as you enter the apartment, you forget you’re in such a lively area. Finally, the apartment (at least while we were there) came with Loki – the friendliest cat you will ever meet. He is so cuddly and will let you pick him up and hold him. Usually cats have a bit of an attitude – Loki doesn’t even know what an attitude is. As an animal lover, it was nice to wake up and come home to this little guy every day.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful apartment in Nolita (Soho). We were 6 people (4 adults and 2 children) and the apartment was spacious enough for all of us. Clean, lots of natural light and in a safe and pleasant neighborhood with many shops and restaurants. We had some issues with laundry machine and the hot water, but other than that everything else was working perfectly. Kati was very kind and easy to contact, and their lovely cat Loki kept us company in the cold nights. Thanks again for everything and hope to come back soon!

My family of 5 (including 17, 19 and 21 year olds) stayed in this fantastic apartment in Soho for a couple of weeks last Christmas holidays. The location is great - near lots of shops, cool cafes and a short walk to Little Italy, Washington Square and the East Village. There are several subway stations close by. The apartment is spacious and light-filled and has a little balcony with views over the Manhattan skyline. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. I hope we can go back and stay!
