It is the closest short term rental in downtown Salida just steps away from the Arkansas River! One bedroom, one bathroom apartment, clicker/convertible sleep couch in lounge room, sectional couch in living room, electric fireplace, evaporator air cooler, very common in Colorado dry climates (but not AC) very cool though in the summer, eat-in kitchen bar, all kitchen utensils, natural cleaning kitchen supplies, coffee maker with coffee and tea, microwave, stove, oven and toaster oven, Shower/tub, spa bath products provided, Washer- Dryer with hypo-allergenic laundry soap provided, Dishwasher, flat screen Satellite TV, Wifi, Ipod and Sirius satellite radio capabilities, Large fenced outdoor patio with table and chairs, Grill, garden hose, Dog friendly with Doggie Doors and a fully secure fenced in yard, heated mudroom for your fuzzy friends or bikes, skis, and many other toys. And the off street parking is a plus!! The Salida Whitewater park and boat ramp is steps away for rafting, etc. or just hanging out!

Second stay at Rocco’s in downtown Salida and we love it just as much as the first! The cottage’s location is perfect, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Location can’t be beat! Walk to everything in downtown Salida. Plenty of space for a 1 bedroom unit. Appreciated having shampoo, conditioner and lotion offered in full sizes.Bed was comfortable enough. We never used the kitchen except to walk through to get to the bathroom. Character of the place makes it charming but along with character of the old building came the quirk of not being able to control the heat or a/c. We slept fine with the fan but the bathroom became super hot. But the fan came in handy here too so it is clear that the owners have worked hard to make sure anything like this has a workable solution. The terrace was nice although not exactly furnished like the pictures show. Was looking forward to a hammock. I would highly recommend for a couple or even a couple and a child or two.

The pics don’t do Rocco’s justice. Interior is much bigger. Nice decoration and layout. Bedroom stays dark in the early mornings. Easy walk to the Arkansas River/ park. Right in the middle of downtown so you can hear folks but town gets quiet at dark.

Mid-May was the perfect time for a quiet & relaxing visit to Salida. The apt is very comfortable & conveniently located close to everything. I especially enjoyed spending my mornings & evenings on the patio.
