About this house rental
Situated in Kure Beach, this attractive house for $215 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Enjoy your Beach vacation at Mackerel Lane! Quick and convenient beach access with bathrooms is right up the street. Beach chairs and toys provided. Most household items are provided. If you stay for 7 or more nights linens are included. Comfortable and plenty of room for the family. Each bedroom has a private full bathroom. Super fast WIFI. EV charger access upon request. Kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook and large dining area has plenty of seating. Queen sleeper sofa in living room. This house sleeps 8 in beds comfortably. Maximum is 10 guests (extra guest fees may apply) 7 adults max. Plenty of room for all the children to sleep in the kids room or in extra twin beds in all rooms. MUST BE 25 or older to rent. NO pets. NO smoking. 0.3 mile to Beach access/Ocean! (Alabama Ave public access has 2 parking lots, showers and bathrooms) Mackerel Lane was built in 2016 and is very clean and well maintained. Furnished front porch, grill, fast wifi. 100% REFUND for cancellations due to weather, storm systems, sickness or travel concerns up until stay date guaranteed. I will not keep your money if you cannot keep your reservation. Policy states 14 day cancellation but as owner I can choose to refund up until your stay date. No stay No pay. New furnishings, hardwood, granite, tile. Very Nice. Lower level has bedroom with queen bed (twin sleeper chair) and full bath with tub/shower. Main floor has large living room with sleeper sofa and a love seat. There is no bedroom on main living floor. Kitchen, half bath and laundry room with washer and Dryer on main floor. Upstairs has a "kids room" with twin over full bunk with trundle. This room sleeps 4 and has a full bath with tub/shower. Kids room has a smart tv. Main suite- king bed, twin daybed, private balcony, bathroom has a large whirlpool tub and shower. Ground floor has queen bed and a twin sleeper chair. Outdoor shower and ground floor entrance through gate on side of house. NO cable tv. Driveway parking for 2-3 cars only. No on street parking. Unfortunately due to cleaning procedures I cannot offer early check in or late check out during PEAK summer season. Don't hesitate to ask if you have requests for your stay. I would like to provide as much as possible so you can pack less.

The Mackerel Lane townhouse was a great getaway for us! Set back just far enough in a quiet neighborhood, but also just a few short minutes walk to the public beach access! The townhouse was clean, well appointed, and well stocked! Margaret was accommodating, welcoming, and very easy to communicate with! The location was super convenient! Nearly all points of Carolina and Kure beach are reachable in an easy 10 minute drive. I should also note that Margaret was accommodating of our PHEV and allowed us to charge during out stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and would absolutely stay there again!

Home Away From Home
We stayed here for a week in the spring and my children could not wait to come back. It’s perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to the beach access and boardwalk. The house is always pristine in it’s cleanliness and the comfort cannot be matched. The owners are exceptional with their communication. We could not ask for a better home away from home to stay in.

We feel fortunate that we were able to find this home! It was only a few blocks from the beach and had plenty of room to spread out for all of us. Carolina Beach and Kure beach were both amazing. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Great Home and Beach Location!

We enjoyed our family vacation at Kure Beach this year and plan to go again! The house was perfect four our family of 6. Three adults, 2 children and one infant. Very comfortable accommodations

Spring Break Escape
Two adults and four kids who needed a fun getaway to Carolina Beach and REALLY appreciated this house. It was super clean, well maintained, and everyone slept comfortably. The location is perfect to head to the beach for the day or down to fort fisher and then check out some local restaurants at night. We loved every moment of our stay.

Fantastic with toddlers!
We had a wonderful stay and would 100% stay here again. The location was great, it was super rainy so we did end up driving so we didn't do the walk but I think it would be fine with little kids. Very quick drive to the beach near the house with a bath house. Easy to get to CB board walk, Kure pier and Fort Fisher park (the beach her is awesome too!). The house was SPOTLESS. It is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. The bedroom layout is awesome too. The kids loved having their own room. We grilled and ate dinner on the front porch and that was lovely too. Neighborhood was lovely and walkable and the neighbors are very very nice. We'll be back! Thank you Margaret for being such a wonderful host!

Quaint property on the border of Carolina/Kure Beach
This is a beautiful and clean house located on the edge of Carolina Beach just before Kure Beach. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the public beach entrance on Alabama St. The beach was not super crowded when we traveled in June granted the weather was not very good. The house is kept in beautiful condition and was exceptionally clean when we entered. The layout is great for 1-2 families- there are 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor (Each with separate baths) and 1 bedroom with separate bath on the 1st level. Appliances are all up to date and grill was easily accessible in the driveway. Margaret was very accommodating and easy to deal with. She answered all of our questions within the hour. She truly cares about her guests having a great experience which made us feel very comfortable renting the property. I will undoubtedly stay here again.

Everything was described accurately. Kitchen well furnished. We did go to a public access to get to beach. If you go 2 blocks north there is no fee for kure beach acesses. Owner was very good to answer questions. Very nice house.

Margaret was a great host. Check in was so simple and the place was spotless upon arrival. Location is about 4 blocks from the beach but not too bad. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this property! Thanks again!

Great house...again
This was our second stay at the Mackerel Lane House. Last time we stayed on the other side. This stay was equally pleasant. The home is very clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of room for our family. The owner is very responsive to questions. We will be back!
