About this house rental
Located in Colorado Springs, this charming house for $837 per night is a great option for your next break. Our 5,300 sf, 6 BR, 4.5 BA home has three fully air conditioned levels, 4 gas fireplaces and lovely amenities. It is clean and comfortable. Ideal for families to hang out in the Great Room/Kitchen and the Lower Level, but still have their own bed rooms. Please see our Reviews. The maximum occupancy per my rental license is 14, including babies. No exceptions can be made. If you plan on having any guests at the house who are not in the rental party, please discuss this with the owner prior to processing a rental. Guests are very limited and names must be provided to security at the gate. Having more than 14 people at the house is generally not permitted. So, if you have any questions, please contact the owner before you rent. This home is for rental only by families. Will consider reduced rates for a family of six or less depending on season and other factors. WILL PROVIDE DISCOUNTED RATES for rental of two months or more. 2026 USAFA Graduation IS AVAILABLE, but there are special rental terms. Must contact Owner. 2024 & 2025 is rented already. Bedroom 2 with Queen bed, walk-in closet, shares Jack & Jill bath with Bedroom 3 with two bunk beds, walk-in closet LOWER LEVEL - Very open floor plan Two bedrooms Home theater and fireplace Wet bar with: fridge, D/W, wine cave Play room with pool table and games Bed room 1 has King bed & closet Bed room 2 has queen bed & closet Full bath This home generally rents for $5,000 to $6,000 per week. Certain times, such as AFA graduation week, have higher rates. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in a gated golf course community. It is not appropriate for parties. Facilities are available nearby for parties. Check in at 4 pm; check out at 10 am. If Guest has an approved pet, a Pet Fee of $125/pet/week is added. Kissing Camels Estates is a gated golf course community in the central, west part of Colorado Springs, just east of the famous Garden of the Gods Park. It is near Pikes Peak, the Air Force Academy, U.S. Olympic Training Center and Museum, and many other attractions. Inside Kissing Camels Estates are some facilities including a pool and golf course that are owned by the private Garden of Gods Club and are generally available only for use by Club Members and their Guests. They are not "community" facilities and use of these facilities is not included in the rental. The Kids play area at the Rec Center is close to the house and available to all. Our host allowed for early arrival which was so helpful for our family who drove. The house comfortably worked for our family of 14. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals for a crowd. The host provides paper goods, detergent and a pantry with lots of spices & condiments. The house is located in a safe, well maintained neighborhood and is convenient to all the sights and activities available to visitors in Colorado Springs.

Great location and plenty of space for the 8 adults and 5 children in our party. Skip was unable to meet us at the house, but he made sure we had all the info we needed to get into the community as well as the check-in/out procedures and details about the house that wouldnt have been obvious as a first time guest.

Skip greeted us and walked us through the house, which we all appreciated. This home was perfect for our family of 13 ranging from ages 2-68. There was plenty of space for everyone and multiple places to hang out and play games. It's located in a quiet community with very little traffic. We took advantage of wonderful locations that were SO close. Garden of the Gods, The Flying W Ranch, and Manitou Springs, and the Cave of the Winds are minutes away. It was a perfect space for our vacation. We'd rent this space again!

My family of 12 stayed in this house for a week and had a blast! The rooms were as advertised, the kitchen spacious and the location couldn't be beat -- especially if you want to beat the crowds to garden of the gods.
It was clean, if a tad dated in decor. We appreciated being able to gather under one roof.

This home accommodated our entire family of 13 people. We had room enough for everyone to sleep in a bedroom and have easy access to a bathroom. The kitchen, dining room, and living room provided lots of space for games, kids, and adults. Having an office on the main floor was very helpful and was shared by several of the adults. The master bedroom was a nice "escape" for my husband and me. I am a tub person and that was a terrific way to end our very busy days. The two-level deck provided a lot of different gathering places for family members to catch up with one another. Skip was highly responsive and provided us with recommendations for places and restaurants to visit. Everyone enjoyed their time away.

Quality Home in Exceptional Neighborhood
Excellent accommodations for a large group. Adequate space for kids to play apart from adults. The owner met us on arrival and took us through the property and was available for questions and recommendations for area attractions and restaurants. A peaceful atmosphere. There were sometimes deer in the yard. All living areas were fully stocked with amenities. Our most enjoyable stay.

Colorado Springs vacation home.
Property accommodated our family group of 10 very well. The six bedrooms and nine beds allowed for 3 couples, one single adult, and 3 under 18 to each have their own sleeping space. The property manager lives close and even stopped by shortly after our arrival to show us the house and offer some suggestions for visiting Colorado Springs. The back lawn space is somewhat small, but the weather was not conducive to spending time outside in the evenings. Overall, a very good, secure location which I would highly recommend.

Beautiful house for family holiday
This is an amazing house - we had 11 family members stay very comfortably for a week together over the holidays. It has a lovely large kitchen and things to do for all ages (movie theater and pool table downstairs). It is in a great location, and the host (Skip) was amazingly helpful!

Had a great experience from the start to the finish. Skip walked us through the property and was very accommodating. The property is perfect for larger gatherings with plenty of room for everyone.

My family and I spent several nights in this home and it was wonderful. It is very clean and spacious. There are plenty of supplies and it was great to have a pool table to entertain. All of the guests were happy with their rooms. There were no problems and we had a fantastic time.

4 couples get away
Enjoyed our booking very much. Skip was great with area ideas, and his walk thru was very helpful. The house was beautiful, comfortable and close to many of the attractions we wanted to see. Garden of the Gods, Glen Eyrie Castle, Cog Train, Olympic Center, etc, as well as restaurants and groceries. It was a fun trip and we would definitely recommend this rental.

Rented this property as 5 couples were traveling for a family members wedding. Layout was perfect! Plenty of room in all 6 bedrooms plus open floor plan that accommodated everyone for meals and socialization. Decks were used often as they were also spacious. Great location.

Skip’s home was perfect for our family! We all met in Colorado for our daughters wedding: Eleven family members in one house. Plenty of space!! House is stocked with everything you need, very clean! Rooms are spacious, kitchen is open and large enough for more than one cook! Two outdoor grills and lovely patio sets. Be aware the home is located in a beautiful gated community; strict rules regarding parking. Need to park in the garage and driveway. Consider this if you rent a large SUV. Neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. Grocery store and restaurants are close by (we love Old Colorado Springs restaurants). Highly recommend this home. Skip was kind and communicated quickly.

The home was wonderful. It’s close to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak railway, Old Colorado city, Cheyenne mountain zoo, Cave of the Winds, Manitou cliff dwellings. The house was well stocked and Skip was an great host. Bettye

The home and the owner, Skip, were wonderful. We didn’t arrive at the house until 2AM due to airline delays/cancellations. Skip had the house opened for us and the lights on. A welcome greeting after a terrible travel day. An information page regarding the house and area was set next to the box I had shipped ahead of time to limit luggage on the airplane. Definitely read info page as it explains the 2 thermostats, etc. With an HDMI cable, we connected the home theater to an iPad for streaming Netflix and a Switch game system too. Location of home was minutes from Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado, and Soccer Field; easy drive to Cog Train for Pikes Peak. If you book this house, you will not be disappointed. ENJOY!!
