About this house rental
Located in Ninth Ward, this attractive house for $318 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. 1,100 sq ft, two bedroom gorgeous home located in the heart of the Faubourg Marigny, walking distance to the French Quarter and the Bywater. This house is unique in that it is one of the first newly built homes in over 100 years in this historic district of New Orleans. You would not know it from the outside and many of the grand details inside but modern creature comforts are a great plus. It also has a private gated driveway for one vehicle which gives extra security. The neighborhood is full of finds. We are four blocks from the Mississippi River and Crescent Park, a few blocks away to grocery stores, coffee shops, authentic restaurants and local nightlife. We are a short walk to the French Quarter and bike rentals, buses and street cars to get around the city. The house is fully equipped for your comfort and needs. Central air and heat, great insulation, High speed Wifi and cable tv included. One half bath downstairs and a full jack and jill bathroom upstairs with a double vanity. If you want to relax and stay in we have a great kitchen and the awesome balcony where you can relax and watch the Marigny go by. For Mardi Gras we are in the center of local action. You wouldn't even have to walk to the Quarter to have a full colorful Carnival experience. (But we recommend the whole shebang.) Sleeps up to four, No people under 25 and loud groups, Families with children may be considered!

Came for a girls' weekend to escape the start of a Midwest Winter -- we had an fantastic stay at Cara's lovely home! From the welcome beverages upon arrival to prompt communication throughout, including recommendations for restaurants and tattoo parlors, our stay felt very special! The home was spacious and comfortable enough for 3, beds comfy, amenities plentiful, and the outdoor space both balcony and courtyard were a delight! The location was excellent we walked everywhere and always felt safe! Highly recommend this property!!

We loved staying here. The unit is immaculately clean with all the amenities. A big bonus is the gated parking area. The neighborhood is quiet and residential even though its minutes walk away to Frenchmen street with lots of live music. We would highly recommend the unit for two couples or a family.

The stay was excellent. The property was as described, and accommodations were wonderful. Would have been 5 stars, except someone was noticeably on the property while we were away from the location. There was no communication from the owner in regards to this so I cannot confirm if someone somehow gained access or if the property owner was just cleaning up after us?

We had a really wonderful stay at Cara’s house. She was super responsive to every question and the house was very clean and comfortable. It’s fully stocked with ample towels etc. and cute Halloween decorations too :)

Property was beautiful. Centrally located to the French Quarter, about a 16 minute walk to the French Quater Farmer's Market, and a 33 minute walk to Bourbon Street. Didn't have to get in touch with the owners while staying there, but communication was very good with them before checking in and prior to checking out. I would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay here again for any future trips! There is a lot to do while in NOLA and you will not be bored at all.

Cara and her husband are outstanding hosts. Home was so charming. Clean and with many extra's. She let me know that the city was having a special restaurant week through a message and was available if a problem did arise - none did. Close to French Quarter - Urber was under 10 dollars - if health conditions did not exist - we could have walked,

We had a great stay at Cara's apartment. The place was clean & comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet the nights we were there. Communication and logistics all went smoothly. We'd gladly stay here again in the future.

From start to finish the home and our experience was top notch! The home is located in a very cool neighborhood with local bars and restaurants scattered here and there. The home was very clean and comfortable. Off street parking was a plus! Frenchman street was walkable as is the Quarter. Excellent stay and very easy check in and checkout. Excellent location (about an easy mile walk to FQ or a quick Uber ride) and a great space to share for a couples, small family, or friend trip.
I've been coming to New Orleans regularly for about 15 years and I can confirm this is a solid location. While this time I visited with family, I would feel just fine staying here if I was traveling as a solo female.
The real star of the show is the off-street parking! Parking anywhere in New Orleans can be challenging, as there are often permits required or unpredictable rules regarding street cleaning, etc. Parking here was amazingly convenient. Roll in, close the gate, take 5 steps and you're at your door. Couldn't be any easier.
Highly recommend. I will stay here again should the opportunity arise.

We had a wonderful stay at Faubourg Marigny. We came in from out of the town for a weekend in New Orleans before we headed to our cruise on Monday morning. It was the perfect location to walk to all the town of New Orleans has to offer. If we couldn't walk to it, we hopped on a trolley. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with. Definitely will stay here again for our future cruises.

I can not say enough good things about this property and the property managers. The house is in a perfect location in the Marigny neighborhood with restaurants, bars, coffee shops and grocery stores all an easy walk away. The house is in a quiet part of the neighborhood with secure off street parking. Everything was clean, comfortable and just as it appears in the listing. Communication with Scott and Cara was always quick and upbeat. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Will definitely book for our next trip.
