Located in Outer Banks, this attractive cottage for $150 per night is a great option for your next break. Beach Me Up Scotty! was a new construction home completed in Sept. 2014. It's a cozy and affordable 2 bedroom, 2 & 1/2 bath, 1200 sq ft home. Located on oceanside and within a short walking distance to the ocean. There is a large sidewalk across from the house for bikes or walking that will take you to many local shops and restaurants. The house is a open floor plan built by one of the best builders on Hatteras Island. The home has 2 bedrooms, master bedroom has a queen bed with joining full bath. Second bedroom has a twin over full bunk. Another full bathroom in the hallway. The living room has large open ceilings with large front windows for great views. A extra family room /game room with 1/2 bath and a pull out sleep sofa is located on the lower level. The open kitchen has a bar that seats 2 and dinning table that seats 6. There is a outside shower and a fish cleaning station under the house as well as a charcoal grill in the yard. -HIGHLY RECOMMEND guests purchase individual/family TRAVEL INSURANCE which is offered when booking, see below.

Beach me Up Scotty was just as advertised. The property was clean and well stocked with games ,dishware and lots of Movies. The area itself was peaceful but also offers plenty of activities to keep a family entertained. Fishing and beach fun is less than five minutes away.

Had a wonderful stay at the property for a fishing trip. The location was perfect for us and it was as advertised. VRBO was supposed to send me an automated email with check in instructions but I didn't get it. So I messaged Brian and he called me immediately and got me in. Would definitely consider staying here again next year for our trip.

Overall this is a very nice house. perfect size for a small family. The house was clean and well equiped. Plenty of space and the game room was definitely a bonus. The kitchen was well equiped and all the appliances worked well with the exception of the stove, which took a very long time to preheat. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in at the beach. We have a king at home and master bed was a queen. The bed was so comfortable we never noticed the difference and I'm over 6ft tall. Short walk to the beach. Only con was the house behind us has a pool. They kept their flood lights on a couple of nights and the light shown right into our bed room at night. I would suggest a dark shade for that window and that would fix that problem. Host was very nice and always quick to respond to my text. Clean up and exit was very easy. I would recomend this house to any small family looking for a nice place and a good price.

Perhaps the perfect place to stay. Salvo is a wonderful, but low key town. Unlike the northern outer banks where there is traffice, malls, and busy, busy. The house was wonderful, very comfortable and well appointed. Love an outdoor shower!

The house was very clean when we arrived. Bath towels & wash cloths provided but you will need your own bed linens & beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes & cookware, most things that you would need to cook. The beach is a short distance away. As well as stores & restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay & would return again.

This house was the perfect place for us to stay on our first visit to the Outer Banks. It was super clean, spacious, and a relaxing place to return to after each day's adventures. Every modern convenience in a pretty house that is so well insulated, noise from the neighbors or the road never bothered us. Easy walk to the beach, easy drive to any place we wanted to go. Our only concern was the old mattress, but we slept well anyway. Thanks so much!

Absolutely spotless upon arrival! Bryan was an excellent host called me a few days prior to let me know of some things! The house is about a 5 or 6 min walk from the beach. We visited the Outer Banks during Easter break week in April 2023 and stayed at "Beach Me Up Scotty". This was probably the cleanest and most well maintained beach houses we've stayed in and that was much appreciated. It was perfect for us and convenient to everything that we had planned to do at the Outer Banks. If we visit the Outer Banks again in the future, we will definitely keep this on our list.

Beautiful beach house! Great location around the center of OBX halfway between Nags Head and Cape Hatteras. Host is very friendly, easy to get ahold of, and house is very clean with all the amenities needed for a great vacation! My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here and loved the game room! Spent an entire month at property on a working vacation and had a great stay. It was definitely off peak for the Outer Banks so many stores/restaurants were closed, but the trade off was a very peaceful and quiet environment. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to take care of meals

Cute house and nice location. The cable was 5 or so channels, the dvd player in the main room wouldn’t work, the Xbox in the spare room didn’t work. When we asked for help the owner was not helpful. We were also charged for a blind that was broken when we got there. I recommend taking pictures of things that are broken upon arrival so you have proof and can avoid false charges.

Great property, 5 minute walk to the beach. It is on the main drag, but you're far enough off you don't hear the noise of traffic. Bike, jet ski rental all within walking distance along with a great fish market.
