We had the good fortune to stay at Lee and Charlie's house for the first week of August. It was the perfect place for the nine of us, including two small grandchildren. The house is located a very easy walking distance to town and the harbor front, which made everything in Belfast very accessible. The house was very clean, and very well stocked up. My only suggestion would be to have some beach chairs and blankets available, as there are concerts at the nearby park and many beaches in the area. The house was large, with four bedrooms, two kitchens, 2 1/2 bathrooms, and everyone was able to find some private space. There were clear instructions for check in, check out and how to run the washer and dryer. Communication with Lee and Charlie was easy. We loved sitting on the front porch with coffee watching people go by. Everyone in the family commented on how good a house it was for our needs, and I hope we are able to stay there again in the future. Highly recommended!

This house was very charming! Perfect for our group of three small families. It had all the basics for cooking, good pans, etc. Wish it had kid (plastic) plates and cups, but that might be my only piece of feedback. The co-op down the street is great, and easy to get to. Belfast is a sleepy little town that’s quaint, and was a not-too-bad distance to Acadia (1:20 mins).

Three generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this multi-bed, well-equipped house! It had everything we needed and lots that we didn’t even know we needed! Our hosts were prompt and upbeat responders. We would definitely stay here again.

We chose this house for a family get together as my sister lives in the area so the location couldn’t have been better! Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants and close to the harbour. This house was one of the best equipped that we have been in…great kitchen with more than adequate dishes and glassware for a large group, plenty of towels and a great supply of paper products and soaps. The house is very spacious but also feels cozy. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
